Alberto Deserbi has made five changes to the side that lost at Forest on Wednesday night.
Jason Steele retains the place in goal that he won back from Robert Sanchez.
Joel Feltman is fit enough to start it right back after sitting out the Forest game.
Adam Webster returns in place of Levi Colwell.
Pascal Gros reverts to a central midfield position, though Caicedo, McAllister and Matoma all rested.
Billy Gilmore makes his first appearance since early February.
Danny Welbeck returns up front alongside Denis Unda, who made his third league start.
Evan Ferguson is still out injured.
Gulen Lopetegui makes two changes to the side that beat Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.
Jose Sarr started every league game this season in goal for Wolves.
Hugo Bueno starts his second game in a row, a left back after missing three games with injury.
Young Brazilian João Gomes comes in to start alongside Lamina and Neves in midfield.
Diego Costa starts his fifth Premier League game in a row, having scored his first goal for the club a fortnight ago.
Pedro Neto comes in with Huang and Cunha dropping to the bench.
It's Brighton and Hovhavn against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Brighton in the blue and white stripes in the sunshine here in Sussex,
starting the first of three successive home Premier League games
with their ultimate quest to qualify for European competition
for the very first time.
So at Wembley last weekend, it was a very good set of penalties.
Here come Brighton and they test Wolves early on in this game.
Tupin Young with a cross towards March.
Feldman with the ball in.
It's a cheeky one.
Thank you.
Well, everybody stopped as if they're expecting an offside flag to go up.
It's a well-worked move and Dennis Under points to the skies.
And that is just the start that Brighton wanted after the difficult,
difficult week they've had.
Well, really tight offside decision.
I think he's probably just on side.
It's a little flick from Welbeck with the back heel.
Very borderline. Lovely play on the outside.
I mean, Estepinian is a player for me that never gets tired.
He's on the overlap. Ball comes across.
It's not the best cross in the world from Joel Veltman.
He almost drags this a little bit, but it falls lovely to Welbeck.
That's good improvisation.
And I think Undav there is just on the run.
It's a tight call, but he looks on side to me and it's a simple tapping.
Good awareness from Welbeck just with that little flick.
Do you think Veltman meant that ball to go the way it did?
We were expecting it to be lofted, but perhaps he was being clever.
No, I think he tried to just bend it in, just to whip it in.
And he's miscued it slightly.
But it was a perfect pass into Welbeck and everyone had gone beyond the ball.
They're taking their time, aren't they?
It's obviously very close.
terms of his feet and have his feet behind those of Dawson and Samedo. I think shoulder
might be the closest point. It's all the vertical that they're drawing isn't it? Yeah, it might
just be the upper body, whether or not that left shoulder and chest is furthest along.
I guess that's one of the hardest points of doing it is picking which part of the body
is the furthest along.
It's also difficult when Undab's making that run, isn't he?
So it's hard to see with the naked eye.
I mean, it looks onside to me.
It's all about where you draw the lines, armpits, sleeves,
all the rest of it.
Back at Stockley Park, they'll be drawing those lines
and trying to work out.
When we have semi-automated offside, this won't be a thing.
And it's onside, and the goal stands.
Breitner, a goal to the good.
Lunes with the error and he could be punished for it.
Pulido and Siso striding forward with purpose.
Good ball turn.
Ruthlessly.
Wow, it's just a brilliant counter-attack from Brighton.
Super slick.
I mean, as a right-back, if you're going to get high up the pitch,
you need to make sure that somebody's either filling in for you
or your centre-back's across,
because when the ball turned over,
the space that Nsiso drove into,
it was just a huge ocean of space to move into.
You cannot leave Brighton that kind of space.
The touch is poor in here, but then all of a sudden,
Nsiso gets the drop, he's driving in, look at the run from Mundav,
just drags the centre-back away.
And there's Pascal Gross in a really advanced position.
He just peels off to that far side there,
lovely finish with the left foot,
just curls it into the roof of the net.
Brilliant goal from Brighton.
It was Nelson Semedo, the right-back,
miles out of position there.
Perhaps thinking from an offensive point of view
that he needed to be an option for his side,
but as soon as they won the ball back,
there was acres of space for them to drive into.
If you're going to get that high,
you have to be 100% that the ball's secure in the middle of the pitch,
and it was given away quite cheaply, wasn't it?
It was a poor touch by Mateus Nunes.
Get back into this game, Costa's in the centre,
Neves is waiting, and here's Mateus Nunes,
saved by Steele.
That's the first time the Wolves have really threatened in this game.
That's just lovely play all round here.
Love this ball round the corner from Nunes,
with Neto just spinning off of Estepinhan,
didn't anticipate that, and this is the area where you need Neto.
Driving into the box, finds a lovely pass,
and not quite the execution on the strike from Nunes.
Gross finds a pocket of space in the midfield,
and Nsiso always available.
The young Paraguayan has Estepinhan on the overlap,
if he wants him, he doesn't, he's gross.
Goes for goal again!
They're supposed to be tired.
They're 3-0 side, 26 minutes at the annex.
What a response after their midweek disappointment
and defeat at Wembley.
Brighton, three goals to the good.
But I was so glad today when I saw the team sheet
and Joel Veltman was playing,
because I knew it allowed Pascal Gros to play in midfield
and get higher up the pitch.
And he's just been in outstanding form for Brighton this season.
And look at that.
I mean, his first touch here just sets him up.
But to hit that volley and he just cuts across the ball.
You see a lovely angle where the ball just fades across.
Sat up lovely.
And he's such a good technician.
He swipes across it.
It's got a lovely bit of swerve.
Sarr just throwing himself to the left.
There's absolutely no chance of saving that lovely goal from Pascal Gros.
Wonderful, wonderful strike from the German.
And what a signing he has proved to be given away by Neto
in a similar position to where Mateus Nunes gave the ball away
for one of the Brighton goals.
And here they come again.
And Sisso against Samedo.
Stupinian with the ball in towards Welbeck.
Wonders by Brighton and Welbeck makes it four.
Surely Roberto Deserbi thought it was going to be more difficult than this
when he rested three of his very best players.
They are chasing a European spot and they are hungry to reach it.
It's now really starting to get a little bit embarrassing for Wolves.
I just love the energy that NCCO is bringing on that left hand side.
Estupiñan with the deep cross, who's always on the overlap.
It's a brilliant header from Dani Welbeck, really gets up well.
And it's not an easy angle.
This is very tight, but the headers are so textbook, really.
Centre forward, head down towards the goal line, make it difficult for the goalkeeper.
It's a perfect header from that position.
Credit to Welbeck, but it's just so simple.
Kilman absolutely nowhere near him, allows him to pull off into the back post.
And Dani Welbeck does the rest.
Now here's Pedro Neto, who was a willing runner in that first half.
What can he do here?
Neto looking to take on the strike.
the top sides in Europe in terms of shots at goal.
Sisso, well back.
the game. Julian Lopetegui had rung the changes at half time, but it's more of the same from Brighton.
Well Wolves just really are not at the races today. It's almost like an acceptance that it's a bad day
at the office for them, but it's just been totally taken advantage of by Brighton team.
There's been in full flow, that says it all. The body language, the facial expression,
it tells a tale and it's Collins who comes on, who just makes a sloppy clearance there. I don't
know if he's trying to pass that ball there or what he's thinking, but he's just got to put his
foot through it, clear his lines. He tries to pass it out and then there's no pressure on Welbeck at
all. Credit to him for the technique with his left foot though, really does pick his spot,
bends it round, saw beautifully. Great finish from outside the box, but no pressure whatsoever.
So many bodies behind the ball walls, but nobody pressurising the ball. They've just been completely
off their game. I'd say that looking at the starting lineup, it didn't look... Oh, they're
in trouble here. They're in real trouble here.
Ondar who have scored a Premier League goal before today but it's another horrible, horrible,
horrible effort from Wolverhampton Wanderers and no wonder their supporters are streaming out.
Mateus Nunes has been caught before, he's been caught again by a combination of Mitoma and Ondar
but let's give some credit to the finishing of the German Ondar. Well I don't quite know what
to say, what is Mateus Nunes doing there? I have absolutely no clue, he's trying to turn out these
two players pressurising him. I have to give a bit of stick to Sar as well, why is he passing
him the ball there? He's got the pitch of the goalkeeper, he puts him right in trouble,
the aggression of Ondar and that lovely little deft chip, look at that, lifts the ball just off the post.
So unselfish, should have had a crack himself, but the two substitutes,
McAllister and Caicedo, coming up to take the strike.
Might be in the same place since that horrific head injury at Arsenal.
It's gross.
Brightness so so hungry.
Aissedo, Billy Gilmore!
For his first senior goal!
And that would have been a wonderful way to seal it.
Reason they didn't manage to score.
But it has been a huge, huge problem for them.
Finds Sascha Kulajic from Germany.
He did his ACL in his first game.
As Neves plays in, Pedenza.
Pedenza saved by Steele, who's had precious little to do.
That's only the second real chance that Wolves have had.
And now mistake from Webster and whang!
Forces save from Steele.
Well, he apologises straight away, Adam Webster puts his hand up,
knows he's just made a bit of an error.
It's been brilliant all game, not put a foot wrong,
but just gets that one a little bit wrong, dwells on the ball a little bit
and goes harmlessly wide though.
And it's all over.
It's a day at the office for Brighton and Hove Albion as they continue
their quest for a European place, resting key players
and still scoring six past Wolverhampton Wanderers who have taken
such great strides under Julian Lopetegui,
come close to securing their place in the Premier League.
But this performance proves there's still work to do on that front.
A couple of goals from Danny Welbeck, a couple from Pascal Gros
and from Denis Unda has done the damage.
In reality, it could have been more as Brighton were absolutely ruthless.
with such a hectic fixture schedule to come.
This result has done their chances of qualifying for Europe.
Huge amount of good.
deserving resting key players, bringing on Matoma,
Caicedo and McAllister.
There's a real feel good factor around this place,
having not played at home since the 1st of April.
Five games on their travels.
What a homecoming it has been with so many matches still to come.
here against Manchester United and Everton within the next week.
What a platform for them to build on.
day for Tony Bloom as well. Everybody connected with Brighton & Hove Albion. They've enjoyed
themselves in the sunshine in Sussex today and on they march. It's finished Brighton & Hove Albion
six Wolverhampton Wanderers nil.
