DECORATING THE TREE + MINI HAUL! | Hello October Vlogmas

Good morning and welcome to Vlogmas day two. So today I'm on a panel and I'm doing a meetup at Beautycon, both of which are very, very scary. So hopefully it all goes well. Cross your fingers. You wanna know the best bit about Vlogmas? When you realize that these parked cars, they have people in them, and everyone's watching you vlog. I cannot believe that I've actually made my train. How on earth did that happen? You know what, I know how this happened. I didn't stop to get a bagel. This is why I made the train. See the sacrifice. I'm so hungry. I have the incredibly healthy breakfast of a large hot chocolate and a cheese and marmite toastie. I really should have made time for porridge. So I'm going in a secret back exit into Beautycon, and I'm still clutching my Starbucks because it's keeping my hands warm. So I'm backstage at Beautycon. This is what it looks like. Very white. I feel like you made that joke. Did you make that joke? It's very white. I just said it's very white and industrial. We've got great chat about backstage. Blair and I have not woken up yet. It's the coffee. Oh my God, my hair looks mean. So Blair's got a meetup in half an hour. I've got one at one. Hello. I was also vlogging. And then my meetup is at one. And then I've got a panel at half four. So I'm doing my meetup and I'm here with Cara. Hi. She wanted to say hi, she wanted to have her in my vlog. I'm so excited to be here. She's lovely. I have escaped Beautycon for a bit because I have a massive headache. I'm a weakling. But we are out in the fresh air and it feels so nice. And I think we're gonna go get some food from Costa because I feel like there's a Costa around here. I feel like there's somewhere that does coffee and food around here. Yay. Got Molly here. Yeah, coffee, coffee, food, food, food, food, coffee. We are in Costa and we have hot chocolates. Mine, I think, looks the best. It doesn't. Oh my God. I shouldn't have this because I had a large hot chocolate this morning. But I need the sugar today. I feel so sleepy. There were so many of you around, it was really, really nice. But now I'm just like, so tired. We've got a panel in like an hour or two. So I need sugar. It's panel time. It's panel time. Woo! Yay. We're with one of my faves. We are over there in about 10 minutes. And I'm with Suze, so come see us. Testing, testing. I am so tired. I cannot wait to be home and in my pajamas. I am so tired. Hello now. I feel like I've been the world's shittest blogger today because I basically don't actually know what I have and haven't blogged. But it is advent calendar time. I can't remember which one's mine. So it's Sunday. Feels like a Saturday to me but it's a Sunday. So this morning Josh and I are on a mission for food because we don't have any food in our fridge because I did a Sainsbury's shop the other day and then forgot to hit checkout. I don't know how I did that but that happens. So this morning we are going to get food and then we're going to go do a bit of Christmas shopping and then we're pitting up our Christmas tree. I'm excited. Are you excited? Yeah. Where are we going to put it? I think I want it there. Yeah we'll just kick by. Yeah. You'll be on the streets now. Sorry. Didn't say hello to the vlog. You will love me. She doesn't look like she will. No she doesn't. Also my hair looks crazy today because I slept with French braids in overnight and I haven't done the bit where I straighten it at the bottom yet so it's just a bit crazy. I like it. You like it? Yeah. I'm not sure. I like your natural hair as well. You don't like your natural hair. No. This is very very close to my natural hair really. Let's go get some food. Easter Macaron. There we go. I want these. They're so cute. I have this one. I think this is quite possibly the worst thing for us to be doing on a Sunday morning because I'm starving and I'm hungry. Food shopping. It's dangerous. It's dangerous. Very very dangerous. I'm so hungry. Oh my god I need one of these. Will you buy me one? No. Oh my god these look so good. I want the pink one. Oh my god so cute. I am loving the Christmas treats. Oh my god guys who wants to see a remake of last year's video with Alex of our gingerbread making video. This is why you don't go to the supermarket hungry because you come out with this. I can't eat that whole thing. No I like to nibble things. You would have put like the whole thing just in your mouth wouldn't you? I'll take the smallest bite. We're walking. Yeah I really want to get today's video up on time and I'm so behind with all of my editing at the moment so I'm just gonna have a nice cup of hot chocolate, sit down, edit tonight's video which will be yesterday's video for you guys and I'm really nervous about it because it's a Christmas gift guide like I have never done a Christmas gift guide before. It's a bit, it's a little bit different um so I'll link that in the info box. And then we're putting up the Christmas tree. I'm so excited. All of those decorations I bought in November are finally going to be put to good use. My desk's a little bit messy so ignore that. I've got hot chocolate which I'm hoping is going to be really good. I haven't had a hot chocolate with marshmallows in ages. And then I've got my new candle. This is from Origins and it's their feel good candle and it smells amazing. I just love it. I'm waiting for like it to burn its top layer off because I feel like it starts smelling really really good once you get down into it a little bit but the box smells amazing and when you smell the actual wax it smells so good. And then I'm going to be editing this video. Get this uploaded for you guys pronto. So the Christmas tree is up and Josh with fairy stroked over him is looking very dashing. How do we get out of this? I don't know. So here I have some mince pie that's been warmed up and ice cream which is chocolate and salted caramel. Very strange combination but it's actually really yummy. And then we have the Christmas tree which is all done. And how we managed to fit it in this space I will never know because I kind of overordered on the Christmas tree-ness. But this is basically the realest fake looking one I could find and I love it. So these decorations, I think all of them are from Marks and Spencers. Seriously look at this one. Some of you might recognise this from my vlog a few weeks ago. So I picked this up whilst I was vlogging. So there's like some really cute individual ones and then there's like ones that are from a set like this and they come in like different colours and different patterns and I love those. Got a little one up here which is actually one of the individual ones. We've got this really cool art deco kind of themed one down here. And then these are two of my absolute favourites. I love them so much. Little pink ice skates and the furriness around the top is so soft. It's ridiculous. I've never been this happy with a Christmas tree. Like it's perfect. The only thing is I'm thinking maybe it needs more baubles but I'm not sure. So I might pick some more up, I might not but I'm really really happy with it. Good morning guys, so it is Tuesday today. I feel like the weeks and days are just running away from me So this morning I have a lot of stuff to get done. I've just been editing today's vlog So the vlog that you're seeing now I didn't put it up last night because I kind of just didn't feel like there was enough and I wasn't happy with it and Stuff like that. And so I hope you don't mind It's a day late, but normal videos will kind of continue on the normal schedule as normal normal normal normal things going But yeah, so I've been editing all morning. I've been editing today's vlog that you're seeing right now and Then I've also been editing a video for Wednesday, which is a whole yeah Other than that, I have a little hole here and some stuff just arrived So I thought that I would show you what I got. So I did a little space in K order the other day I think it was Sunday night, maybe and so I have two boxes of stuff little two little bags of stuff here This is actually a present for Alex for Christmas So I'm not gonna unbox that but I'm very excited for her to open that when it gets to Christmas And then I have some other bits in here, which I will do you know So I finally got my hands on the custom effects custom enhancer drops I'm actually a little bit annoyed because I think they've sent me the same one twice I'm pretty sure there was meant to be I think sunlight and in this as well But they sent me the same one twice But that's fine because I ordered some for someone else as well and I didn't order the same colors So now I can just have one of the ones that's the same if that makes sense because I didn't buy myself that one um But yeah, I have yeah, you have Celestial just like these are meant to be just like the most pigmented highlighting drops ever like you literally need like the tiniest bit and a little bit is meant to go super long way and it's in Like Tati from glam life gurus. These is like eyeshadows. So if you can see it, that's a whole lot of reflection Yeah, these are just like that is one drop. I cannot believe how pigmented that is I'm gonna love using these as eyeshadows. They're like not glittery at all. It's just like this amazing glowy kind of shimmer It's just like glow. Okay, so I have Celestial which is that one? So it's kind of a more cool toned shade, which I don't feel like I will get as much use out of but then we have I think this is candlelight. I think there's a little bit more on my street. This might be a little bit too dark I thought as an eyeshadow I probably get a lot of use out a lot darker, but I will wear this as an eyeshadow like all day every day It's not as shimmery. I don't think it's definitely not coming off as shimmery and intense as Celestial Which is interesting and then have moonlight and I feel like this one's gonna be like my perfect one. Oh, so pretty It's basically pretty much a rose gold. That is so gorgeous. No camera focus on my hand, please I want to show the people the highlight that's really really pretty. They're so pigmented. They feel really like silky as well They're probably like full of silicone, but then they're gonna look great I'm really glad those finally came back in stock and right before Christmas as well because I Need these for Christmas parties and stuff. Not that I actually can go to that many this year I'm so busy with vlogmas and work and Admin and all of the stuff that I needed to catch up on over the year and haven't that actually I don't have that much time For Christmas parties this year, but I have one on Thursday I'm going to and I'm really excited and I think that's gonna be like a one But whilst I'm showing you all of this, I thought I would kind of continue the mini haul I wanted to show you this. This is a jumper I got last week I think when I was buying some stuff for my dad's birthday It was on the one day that I didn't vlog so I haven't shown you this and it's from Oliver bonus And it's a jumper that says make-believe and if you watched my Sunday video, you know, I love Oliver bonus jumpers I just love them so much I have one that says hot dog on it if you haven't seen the video and it's one of my favorites and I saw this One and they have it in gray as well, but I don't really wear gray that often So I decided to go for this one because it's so festive and it has like little star on the cuff I just absolutely love Oliver bonus jumpers and all of their stuff in general So in addition to the beauty bits and this jumper, I thought I'd show you what I actually bought from Topshop last Friday or Thursday I think you've all seen it on Friday But I didn't actually show you what I bought in my come shopping with me vlog and I'm not gonna have time to do a proper Haul, I don't think before Christmas and I'll probably show you this and then run out of video ideas and regret showing you this in This video, but I don't really care. So I got the shirt which has little hearts leaves and flowers on it I'm kind of not sure on this I'm gonna see how it works in my wardrobe because I do feel like it's a little bit too Oversized if you want to see what this looks like go and watch that vlog I'll link it below and in the little the little thing that comes up in the eye I'll put the corner of the screen. I can't remember which side it's on. So then we have this nude creamy colored jumper It's just like a really nice slouchy jumper and I feel like I'll get a lot of wear out of it It's always one of those things where I'm like, oh, it's such a simple piece Like is it is it worth buying? It just seems a little bit like blur but actually I think I get so much wear of stuff like that Then I also picked up what I'm calling the Tamara jumper, which has gossel on I don't know if I butchered that It has that on the boob chest area. And yeah, this is like I bought this in a 12 So it's nice and like slouchy and it just hangs really really nicely and it's really loose and comfortable And I just can't wait to wear this all the time So I picked that one up and then the final thing is this striped turtleneck, I love this This is just so nice. The material feels so nice. It's like a ribbed kind of material So it's like I don't know. It just feels a bit different to a lot of the other Jumpers that I own. I've already worn this. I think you will have seen this earlier in this vlog I've already worn it. It's kind of got my hair all over it, but I love that I'm liking blue at the moment. Apparently it's not a conscious thing But it's just something I've noticed I'm gravitating towards blue So yeah, that is what I picked up from Topshop. And yeah, that's kind of it for my little mini haul I have to go out in a minute I need to go and take my car to be kind of looked at by The people at Mini because it's got a problem with it Which you know, sod's law, some minis never ever break and like I have friends that have had like no problems with their minis ever And then some people have minis that they have problems from like day one and maybe I've got one of those Maybe it's just a fluke. It's kind of like an external thing. So hopefully they'll be able to fix it It's not like a major internal issue It's just like an external thing, but I need to get fixed So that is what I'm gonna do in a bit Not sure how long I should carry this vlog on for because I kind of like to get it up before Like five o'clock today because my videos have been going up so late recently So I'm at the mini place, but before we go in, this playlist on Spotify is possibly my favourite, I think it is my favourite Christmas playlist ever. You guys should go have a look at it. Now it's time to go get the car sorted so I will see you guys in a bit. They are completely fixing my car for free, which I'm so happy about because I was like oh god this could get expensive, and I also am dropping it in on Friday and I get a courtesy car which I'm so excited about. But I'm very happy with that because it's not what you need, it's having your car fixed right before Christmas. So yay! Well hello there! It's been a while since I saw you last. I've basically been editing this vlog. I've been sorting out the last bits of my haul and just doing like some little bits like paying bills. Boring stuff. And I'm now just saying bye.
