In this video, ISKCON Temple NVCC Kondhwa, Pune is shown. It is the largest temple in the city of Pune. NVCC Means New Vedic Cultural Center.
The New Vedic Cultural Center (NVCC) or ISKCON NVCC is located in Kondhwa, about 12 kilometers south of Pune. The temple complex is built over 6 acres and it took seven years to build. 40 crores were spent in the construction of the temple. The temple was inaugurated in 2013 by the then-Honorable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The temple is on the Kondhwa-Katraj bypass. The nearest railway station is Pune, 10 km, or Shivaji Nagar, 12 km. . The nearest airport is Pune-Lohegaon, 18 km. You can reach the temple by bus, rickshaw or cab.
The temple complex consists of two temples - the main Radha Krishna temple and the Venkateswara (Balaji) temple. The Radha-Krishna Temple is built in the North Indian architectural style using red stone and marble, while the Venkateswara Temple is built in the South Indian architectural style (similar to the Balaji Temple in Tirumala) using Kota stone.
