Number 7 from Humoresque Opus 101 is from a piano cycle by Antonín Dvořák from 1894. The composer spent that summer in Bohemia and began to compose a new cycle of short piano pieces from the material he had collected. The cycle was given the title Humoresques. That same autumn, the cycle was published with such great success that the publisher made arrangements for numerous instruments and ensembles.

This view is easy to reach. From Lungeren, the Lungern-Turren cable car takes you up the Turren in a large gondola. If you turn right from the gondola station, you can reach this view in about ten minutes on foot. There is a barbecue area in the Sonner at the viewpoint. If you turn left from the top station, you will come directly to the Turren Restaurant, which serves Swiss cuisine. Hiking in this area is wonderful. When we decided to go up the Turren, we hoped to be above the fog, but we didn't quite manage it, as you can see.
