So it is wardrobe clear out day and I've started early, I was not meant to do this for another
couple of weeks but it's got to the point where my wardrobe is literally overflowing.
So I thought that we would get started a bit earlier, I also really need to clear out my
bags because that situation has just got a bit crazy recently. Do you mind? Do you mind?
We are going to make a start on this. Before I make a start on this I need to move all
of this stuff out of the way.
Okay so we have a few things to tackle today. Number one is my ever expanding dress section
which I think I'm going to find really hard to whittle down because I love all of my dresses
so much. Then we've got a few skirts, a few jeans, not really too concerned about this
section because I wear all of these regularly. Then we have things like jumper dresses,
play suits, actually I think this can stay. Yeah lots of in between dresses I just need
to reassess. And then a ridiculous amount of high neck, roll neck jumpers which is stupid.
And then my favourite shirts, not too concerned about this section. Jackets, blazer, jacket,
that kind of thing. So it's mainly this section here that is really annoying me, it needs
to be kind of rotated out. And then I also need to go through these bits here. These
are kind of like bits for depop that when I've been tidying and filming in my room and
I need to put them away they just go at the bottom here and I might rotate some spring
stuff out of these. First things first, this shirt from Topshop, I've never worn it. I
don't think I'll ever wear this with like blue jeans in the summer because it's just
that bit too dark, it's not black, it's just, no, no, it's going, goodbye. Then we have
my hanger of vest tops which actually I'm okay with, I wear these quite a lot. They're
basically just great layering pieces. Then we have this jumper which I've kind of been
questioning for a little while. Jumper? Why did I say jumper? It's a dress, it's like
a pinafore style dress, I've buttoned it up really badly and I haven't really had a chance
to wear it yet and I want to wear it with bare legs in the summer. So that's why I haven't
worn it yet. I think I'm going to bank it and see how I go with it over the summer months
because I really do feel like with a white shirt underneath and my lace up tan flats
this is just the most gorgeous outfit and I'm really excited about it so I'm actually
going to keep it in my wardrobe. Next we have this navy blue shirt. I just haven't really
worn it that much recently and I'm a bit concerned that I just probably never will over the spring.
I have it in pink and it's been hanging on my rail for a couple of weeks now and I go
to wear it in videos but I just feel like the colour of it is just a bit, I don't know,
I think it looks nicer on the hanger than it does on me. This one's just like a little
bit more, they're the same size but this one is bigger which is something I find happens
a lot on the high street, you always end up with like, you buy the same size thing and
one thing will always be slightly bigger. Whereas the blue is a tiny bit smaller and
I feel like it's really nice, I like it a lot. I'm a bit, I'm torn, I'm going to park
these here and we'll revisit in a bit. Next we have my Gucci jumper. I love this jumper
a lot, I don't get as much wear out of it as I thought I would which is very disappointing
because it wasn't cheap. I think I'm just going to pop it maybe near the front of my
wardrobe and rehang it like closer to the edge so that I end up wearing it more. Then
we have this jumper dress from ASOS which I wore so much over Christmas and I've just
never worn it again since. I don't look at it and pine to wear it so I think I'm going
to put that one on my depot. Then we have this play suit from Glamorous which is really
cute. It's a little bit kind of low cut but I actually think it's really sweet. I think
it will be quite nice in the summer. I'm just questioning how much I will wear it in the
summer because it's not the summeriest colour. The fit of it is gorgeous though, I kind of
wish that it was just in black. I think it would be a lot more timeless, also a little
bit short. I'm talking myself out of it. It's going to go on my depot if anyone wants it.
Next we have this dress from Glamorous as well and this is from their petite range.
I'll see if they still have this on ASOS. I love this dress, I'm going to keep this
dress. I think it's a beautiful piece for both autumn and summer. I think it's that
perfect in between British summer piece so I'm going to keep that in my wardrobe. Then
we have, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 high neck slouchy jumpers. This is a really hard one for me to break
down as well. I think this one might go, this one is actually, I bought it for New York
to be like a really super warm piece that I could layer other pieces so it's quite oversized.
I've been trying to wear it just on a daily basis as kind of a casual piece and it's just
too oversized. This grey one I love, it is oversized but I think it works really nicely
as a jumper dress and it works nicely with like my over the knee boots. This cream one,
I'm really not sure about, I wear this a lot kind of layered under coats when it's very
very cold and I think that the colour of it and the knit makes it like a really beautiful
timeless piece. I really like this but I don't love the fit of it. I wish it was a little
bit less fitted or a little bit more fitted, it's kind of that weird in between. I think
maybe until I find like an alternative I'll keep this but I'll keep an eye out for like
something better. Yeah so I'm probably going to keep those two. Then we have this one from
Topshop which I like but I don't feel like the fit is perfect. I also just don't feel
like it's the right stripe for me. It also really annoys me that the stripes are off
white. Then we have this whistles knit which I love. This brings me joy, there we go, that
is what we're looking for here people, that is what we're looking for. This is actually
one of those knits that I could see me wearing, like it's the perfect fit and I could see
me wearing it even like in the warmer spring months with like shorts, skirts and things
like that. It's the only one of these jumpers actually that I can see me wearing throughout
the year so this one is my number one. Then we have my Topshop flute sleeved jumper. I'm
keeping this, I love this. I have two of this, I just love it that much. Then my Topshop
like ruffle, like romantic ruffle sleeved cardigan. I like this a lot, I really do.
Just actually putting it on. I don't know if it will bring me joy long term but it does
right now. Then we have this Topshop bell sleeved shirt. I really like this, I like
it tucked into things. I think untucked does nothing but tucked into things it is gorgeous
and I think that it's one of those ones that I'm going to wear a lot in the summer as well
just with like a really nice pair of bleached shorts tucked in with a belt, like a leather
belt. I think it's going to be great so I'm going to keep that. Then we have this Topshop
shirt and the reason I keep this, it seems really silly but this works really well if
you lay it down and take Instagrams on it. It works also quite nicely for like if I'm
wearing a black blazer just for like a night out where I don't really want to dress up
too much. It's actually really nice as well. It's just one of those nice like handy pieces
so I'm going to keep that. Next we have this Topshop shirt which I am gutted. I must have
put this in a suitcase at some point and it's got some kind of orange stain on it which
I'm going to have to try and get out. I do like this a lot. I'm going to keep it. I'm
going to try and get that stain out because that's really annoying me. Then we have this
blue shirt which some of you will remember from kind of this time last year. I wore this
in a lot of videos and I basically hung this pinafore, like bodycon kind of pinafore over
the top because I feel like these will work really nicely together as we go into more
spring. I think this would look quite cute, quite preppy so I'm keeping that, banking
that for like the slightly warmer weather. Next we have this shirt from ASOS. It's from
a brand called Scotch and Soda. This shirt is beautiful. I love the pattern of it. Really
really cute. However it is just a little bit too baggy and right now I just feel like it
swamps me over the summer. I was like yes this shirt is my everything and right now
I'm like oh it's a bit too oversized and I'm not 100% sure on it. It's like really beautiful
and I love the pattern of it though. So I think I'm going to keep it and see how much
I wear it and if it continues to like make me feel crappy when I wear it then I'll revisit
and throw it out. If I throw it out I mean give it away, don't panic. Next we have this
oversized white shirt. This is from Ralph Lauren and I never wear this. I always feel
really crappy when I wear it. It's too see through. I think it's going to have to go.
As much as it's cool and like oversized and works great for layering, it never happens
with that shirt. If I do layering I do layering with like other pieces I think because I don't
love that on its own. I never think to layer it. Then we have this knit from, I think this
was from ASOS and I am obsessed with this jumper. So it's slightly longer at the back
and it's just basically a roll neck sleeveless jumper and it's going back in the wardrobe.
This is actually a newer edition which I haven't shown you recently I don't think. It's from
Coach. One of their like ruxy jumpers. Basically I made it my mission to find one of these
even though they were last season stock. Apparently they're not restocking it and I actually wanted
two. So I went in and asked if they had two. The first sales woman laughed at me and the
second one then went and looked for me and found two. Just in the sizes that I needed
as well. So I got this in a medium. It's really nice and slouchy. It's like the coolest jumper
ever. Then we have this Topshop denim jacket. I might try this on and show you guys because
this is one of those things that I'm not sure on. I'm not 100% on it. I don't know if it
brings me joy. It doesn't bring me joy. If I say I don't know if it brings me joy, it
doesn't. I think I'm going to rethink that because I don't know what I'll wear it with
in the summer. I'd want it to be a bit more cropped if I was going to wear it with dresses
and stuff. So annoying because I hunted for that for so long and I just never ended up
wearing it. I just feel a bit too 80s wearing it and that's just, that's a really cute look
but it's not my vibe. Then we have this camel coat which I'm not even going to bother taking
out because you guys will have seen it so many times. So I'll just show it to you like
this. It's the one that is basically in all of my Instagrams. Then we have this blazer.
This is from Forever 21. You will have seen me wear this so many times. Then we have my
Topshop. It's one of their suede ones, the premium ones that they do in Topshop. In the
kind of forest green which I still love. It does bring me so much joy so that's going
to stay. And then my, I think it's French Connection poncho type thing. I love this.
I love the hood on it. It is the coziest thing. Brings me joy. Staying. So I went to start
looking at the things that were kind of underneath my actual clothing and ended up in like an
avalanche of stuff. I have a lot of jumpers that I've like just pulled off hangers at
point so this one from ASOS which some of you may remember that I wore quite a while
ago. I haven't worn this in a long time. The fit isn't right as well. I think that's a
big thing for me. I think I'm about to have like a bag avalanche happen. But under here
I have lots of my like spring and summer stuff. And I just really fancy taking this out and
putting some of that up there. And I think it's probably a good thing to do before I
get into like buying for spring and summer mode so that I can actually see what I already
have. Oh I love these shorts. These shorts are amazing. What's this? Ooh. The long floaty
white dress. Yes love that. I love doing this when you rediscover all of your favourites.
Okay so I feel like I have a good idea of what I want to put back in the wardrobe. I'm
having to be a little bit restrained. So I've popped a few springy, sort of springy summery
potentially things back in my wardrobe. Just for over April where we always have like some
kind of little heat wave. I say that we'll probably have like rain showers the whole
month now. But yeah I just feel like it's good to have those to hand just because otherwise
I feel like I have a complete wardrobe crisis when we have any kind of semi-warm weather
and I don't know what to wear. I also just wanted to sort this area over here out. This
is my little rail. This rail is from May.com by the way. Everyone always, always asks me
about it. I always keep just like nice pieces for like when I'm filming. Like when I'm like
ooh what should I wear? So I'm gonna pop that in the wardrobe because I don't think I have
any like super fancy things coming up any time soon. And then I've got this white shirt
which I wear all the time. All the time. Then we have my Topshop Unique shirt which is staying.
I love this shirt so much. And then I have this play suit from Topshop which I love.
Brings me joy. So much joy. And then I've just got this little bomber which is a kind
of Dior press gift. It says I am poison on the back. I basically wear it to the gym because
I don't really have many gym jackets. Okay are you ready for this? Let me know in the
comments if this is like the part that you've kind of been waiting for. Because I've been
knowing that I need to do this for a while. And you guys remind me every time I get a
new bag that I need to do a bag clear out. So I think this is gonna please a lot of you.
First bags we have are. This is my Aspinal of London Marlabone Tape. So I travel a lot
with this. Or I did a few years ago and I've just found recently I haven't used it. I tend
to use a suitcase when I travel now. I think I might give this to my friend. My friend's
um she had a baby last August and I feel like this is like a really nice big bag that she
can put all her stuff in for baby. And I don't know she might like that. Then I have my mint
green Valentino. Which looks like this. So cute. I'm gonna be keeping this 100% because
I just it makes me so happy. I can't wait for the summer. That's the time when this
is gonna be like permanently out of its box. I always go through phases where there are
bags that are always in their boxes and it's just like normally a seasonal kind of thing.
Next we have my Balenciaga City. Which is a bag that I love. It's not like my favourite
bag of all time but it's a really nice comfortable to wear everyday bag. I really like the fact
that it's slouchy. It's like just a really nice easy piece and I think as far as black
bags go in the summer it's one that I will wear a lot because I just think they're like
perfect summertime bags. I think that slouchy kind of boho vibe is very much something I
gravitate towards all year round which is why I still use this a lot. But I think in
the summer it becomes even more like essential. Then we have my Victor & Rolf. I don't know
what you call this. Is this a flower bomb bag? I'm not 100%. I don't even think this
is sold anymore but I keep it for sentimental value because it was the first bag that I
was ever gifted and it arrived on Christmas Eve and I was so happy. So I keep that. So
I'm gonna be putting this on my depot. Doing a Vic there from her wardrobe clear out and
just toying with you. This is my Chanel Boy bag which I will not be selling. And then
we have the one that I am maybe selling. I'm gonna have to keep it out and just deliberate
over a little bit. I feel like this is one that I could live without though. So let me
know which one you think. Bearing in mind I do have this in black which I wear so regularly
now. Like I don't want to say every single day because I don't wear it every single day
but there are some times where I literally will go through like a week or two weeks straight
of wearing it. Because it's just one of those ones that I don't have to worry about what
I'm wearing with it. Whereas this was quite difficult if I was wearing like camel which
I wear a lot. This does not go with camel. So I think I'm gonna leave this one out and
just mull it over. I don't ever like to make speedy decisions. I'm not a speedy decision
maker. Oh my gosh! I found my red comb! Ten points to you if you know why I'm so excited
about the red comb. So that is wardrobe gate point five all done and dusted. I now have
several piles of different things on the floor that I need to go and sort out and bag up.
So I am going to go do that. I hope you guys have enjoyed this video. If you want something
that's a bit more talking through the steps, talking through my mental process and looks
a bit more aesthetically pleasing and isn't me rambling I will link the previous wardrobe
gate, the ultimate one where I clear everything out below for you guys so you can go and see
that. But yeah, I'm very happy with my nice tidy wardrobe now. I hope you guys have enjoyed
this video and I will see you guys again soon. Bye!
