weekend in my life: santa monica + venice beach

It's been so long since we've seen each other. I know, far too long. Landed in L.A., got an acai bowl. Wait, I'm Danielle and you're Morgan. Oh, how cute! Should we switch? Wait, should we act like each other? Let's just act. Okay, hey guys, I'm Morgan. That was lame. Okay. We just got to Morgan, Janine, and Adrienne's house. It is so cute. I'm about to upload. We're just here for a little bit before I can check in. And we're gonna, like, go to the Glossier store, all that fun stuff. So, gosh, I'm so happy here. Alright, so I just finished doing my makeup. I'm in a really good mood because I got so much work done on the plane today. I finished all of my stuff for online classes for the whole week. So I'm fine while I'm here. I got a video edited. I'm uploading it right now. Guys, their house is so cute. It's literally like a YouTube house. Like, you walk in and you're like, oh my god. Like, I just love it because they're YouTubers. I just think it's so cute. Having a little West Hollywood day. I'm really excited. West Hollywood is my favorite area. Well, I haven't explored everywhere in L.A. But I do have a good heart for West Hollywood. So the new Glossier store just opened. And, as you guys know, it's all over Instagram. And it's so cute. And Morgan and I don't really own any of their products. So we, like, made a list of things we want to try out. And I just think it'll be fun. And then right over there is, like, Alfred's. And we might go eat at Toast. And we're meeting up with Remy. So that'll be good. I haven't seen her. West Hollywood could tell, but it's very brief. So I'm really excited. Needless to say, West Hollywood day. Can I say something to the vlog? Please. This is gonna be a weekend of no naps on my part. I'm not gonna nap. Oh, yeah. We were laughing at this one comment. Someone said, like, I love the contrast between Danielle and Morgan. Like, Morgan wears all black. And Danielle's really peppy and all this stuff. But Morgan's actually really peppy. She was just a little worn out that trip. So I'm wearing this little romper from Forever 21. I love it. I'm really into polka dots right now. And it's just really comfortable. And then my same everyday jewelry. I'm not even gonna bother. So. And then my white slip-ons that I got coffee on. Like, literally only me. Coffee on my slip-ons. Like, that's just such a Danielle sentence. But I'll figure it out. I'll give it to my mom when I get home. Perks of living home over the summer. So. Yep. We are in the Glossier cave. Ooh. This is super weird. Yay. I'll show you guys when we get back what I got. But I'm so excited. A little Glossier purchase. We're at this place called Croft Alley. Super cute. It's literally in an alley. It's so cute. Honey limeade ginger juice with a little bit of turmeric. So good. I love LA. Lovely. Lovely ladies. So we just got our food. Yummy, yummy. I got a chicken bowl. And I was convinced to get this random, like, cauliflower stuff. I really don't know what it is. But looks really yummy. Just got to the room. It is so cute and spacious. Tour starts now. I found a white robe. So I just took a bath. And sometimes you just have to slow down your life and just take a chill pill. And that's something I'm trying to remind myself to do lately. I had so much fun hanging out with Remy and Morgan. And Morgan's actually sleeping over with me tonight. So I'm not alone. But she's at her house right now packing. So she'll come over later because I have a fitting at 6. It is 422 right now. So I've got some time. I'm going to relax. The balcony. You can see the beach. So I might just sit out there. I'm just going to try and zen out as much as possible. And maybe watch a little Riverdale. So that's what's going on. Just got to relax for a little bit. Watch some Riverdale. Feeling great. I don't know if you guys have started watching season 2. But I'm kind of in love with Chuck. Which is kind of funny, like, gossip girl. But Chuck from Riverdale is so cute. I can't get over it. I am going to head down to the garage team's room for the fitting per usual. And, yeah, I get to see Kenzie and Sophia. Hey! New city. Like, every weekend we, like, have these tours. It's fun because, like, we get closer and closer with the garage team. So, we were just, like, sitting there laughing about, like, the passigans and stuff. So, lots of fun. I'm going to head downstairs to the lobby to meet Kenzie and her mom. I'm so excited to meet her mom. And we're going to 3rd Street Promenade for a little bit. Just to, like, walk around. And it's just so pretty out. And then I have to come back really quick and get ready to go to dinner with Morgan and Shelby. So, that's the sketch. We're in, like, a, it's like a golf carpet, like, shuttle. Me, Morgan, and Shelby, Shelby Church are going to Nobu tonight in Malibu. I am so excited. I've heard it in, like, every single song. I've seen so many pictures. It looks delicious. I love sushi. We're, like, we're going to treat ourselves and go to Nobu tonight. So, us three are going. I'm meeting them there. And then Morgan's coming over and sleeping over here tonight. So, it's going to be so fun. I'm so excited. I put on a little fun, boujee outfit. So, I'll show you guys. Here is a little outfit overview for you guys. I'm just wearing this tube top bodysuit from Princess Polly. These earrings are also from Princess Polly. These pants are from Topshop. I absolutely love them. I just got them in Chicago. They are so comfortable. And then I also just got these shoes from Forever 21. So, yeah. And then I didn't have enough room in my suitcase because I'm going to New Jersey right after this. So, Morgan is bringing me a leather jacket just to, like, throw over because it is a little bit chilly at night here. So, this is the outfit. I'm going to leave soon. I'm so excited. Also, I don't know if I mentioned this earlier. I'm here for the last stop on my meet-up tour with Garage. I'm so excited. We have a meet-up this Saturday at the Venice Beach Boardwalk. So, I think it's going to be so fun. So, like always, as you guys know from the last two Weekend in My Life vlogs on the meet-up tour, we have a photo shoot and then we do the meet-up the next day. So, tomorrow is the photo shoot and then the next day is the meet-up. And then Sunday I leave. And I'm going to New Jersey to visit Daly, one of my college friends, for her birthday. And, like, all of our hallmates are, like, going. Like, there's going to be, like, six or seven of us there for her birthday. So, it's going to be a little reunion. And then I'm coming back. So, yeah. I just realized I didn't say that. Woo! See if she gets it. We're in the clear. Oh, I thought you were going to say, oh my god, it's actually spicy. Oh, baby, it's dessert time. Because I'm, like, really short. And I mean, I can talk to him. He's not tall, though. Well, yeah. And I was like, you're Scott Disick. And then I looked at you. And then I knew you knew. But Shelby had no idea. She's like, what? But I'm glad. I'm glad. Like, that's as close to a Kardashian as I've ever gotten. Me too. I'm never meant to meet a Kardashian. Never. Please. It is about 7.30 a.m. And Morgan and I are headed to the dry bar. And I do got to say, I am really excited about this dry bar appointment. Because dry bar is treating me. They've been seeing me on social media going all the time. Like, last weekend I literally went two times in a row. And they were like, we want to treat you to a blowout on us. And, like, I'm going to be so honest. That's really freaking cool. And you guys can't say nothing. Because that's really exciting for me. So, yeah. We're going to go there. And then I have my shoot today. But it starts a little later, which is nice. So, we're at the dry bar at Santa Monica Place. And we've been here together before. And got some coffee. They have complimentary coffee at our hotel. Really big fan of that. And, yeah, Kenzie slept in. So, she won't be adjoining. Guys, look how majestic dry bar looks right now. That's all I have to say. And then Starbucks across. Like, probably one of the better locations. Look who I found. Little Miss Sophia. I love it. You look so good. Got a blowout. Yay. Where else would we be? Yeah, honestly. I just got back from the dry bar and did my makeup super quick. And I actually just sat down to film a what's in my carry-on video. I had so much fun today running around Venice and Santa Monica. Always a blast. I just touched up my makeup and relaxed for a little bit. Watched Riverdale. I'm really into Riverdale right now. And I'm headed down to the lobby to meet up with Kenzie and her mom. And we're headed to the Grove to meet up with Morgan for dinner. I'm so excited. I love the Grove. Every time I'm in L.A. I try and go to the Grove at least once because I love all the outdoor eating areas. Back in the humble abode for this weekend. And I am so excited to just get in this hotel room bed. There are something about hotel beds that are just ten times better than literally any other bed. I have two videos to edit so I'm going to do that. I was trying to upload every day but being on trip sometimes it's like harder so I'm just trying to upload as much as I can. So I hope you guys can understand. While I'm doing online classes I'm also just going to chill out and watch some videos. Maybe watch a movie. Well I don't have time to do all of that but yeah. I'm just going to relax. We counted around 70. So it actually ended up going really well. I was really concerned. Not concerned, but I was just like I know I don't have a huge viscous falling so I didn't want to let Garage down or anything. But I think it ended up going really well. It was super chill and it was nice because I got to talk to you guys for a longer period of time and really get to know you guys. And I met some super cool people. Like this one girl was interning for a bike helmet company. Just like really cool random stuff. You guys are doing really cool things here. I also met, shout out to Maddie. She was the president of one of my best friends sorority this year and they knew each other. So it's just like a really small world I realized. We just got to 3rd Street Promenade. It is absolutely beautiful. We're just walking around. Gonna get some dinner. I'm here with Casey and Morgan. And we're just walking around looking for dinner. And I was so excited because I've never been to like a Pride event to be honest. And it's Pride month and Kehlani's performing obviously. And then we just looked on the website and it sold out. But it's never been sold out before but I guess it's cause Kehlani's so big and so. It's really sad. Morning everybody. It is Sunday morning. I love Sunday mornings obviously. And I woke up, showered and now we are headed downstairs. Morgan slept over last night to get breakfast in the lobby because we were gonna like. We had some extravagant ideas. Like yeah we're gonna wake up early and like go scootering and like go to Earth. Yeah. What's wrong with us? I loved the idea but unfortunately sleep trumps all. We're gonna head downstairs to get breakfast and then I'm gonna pack up and head to the airport to go to New Jersey for. Cause today's Daily's birthday and like most of my homemates are there right now so it's gonna be a fun little college reunion. Ew. Ew. I'm still about. I'm just about to be a sophomore so that really doesn't count. Anyways. We're gonna go to breakfast. So I got oat milk, pancake oat milk, pancakes. I am Kenzie. Kenzie. Oh my god.
