The Mumbai coastal road project involves the construction of 12-metre-wide twin tunnels under Malabar Hill (75 metres deep) and Girgaum Chowpatty (25 metres deep) between Priyadarshini Park and Marine Drive in South Mumbai. Project (VBSLP) comprises the construction of a sea link bridge along the West coast of Mumbai from Bandra (on the South side) at Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL) to Versova at Nana Nani Park (on the North side) with intermediate connectors at Juhu Koliwada and Otter’s Club and tolling facilities.
The main sea link bridge is 9.60 km in length with 8 lanes.
