BLACK HEART EQUESTRIAN TRY ON || Erin Williams

So today I am going to do a little try on haul and a bit of a chat about some of the products that come from my brand Blackheart Equestrian. So hopefully most of you know who Blackheart Equestrian is. I'm sure many of you don't so hopefully after this video you will. I started Blackheart around three years ago now and it was kind of an idea that came to me whilst I was at university because I wasn't able to find products I liked enough so I couldn't find a product that suited my physique and made me feel good at the same time as being fit for purpose you know good in the saddle, good on a horse and also comfortable. I mean I love comfort, I mean I'm sure I'm not the only one here that lives in leggings and I did even before I set up Blackheart. So comfort's very important and having ridden internationally for years so is function. So they have to be fit for purpose, they have to be good on a horse and they have to be long-lasting. So that's kind of what we strived for with Blackheart Equestrian and I did not expect the business to take off like it did and you know it's kind of beyond my wildest dreams how far we've come so this is kind of an exciting video for me to be able to talk about the products within my own brand. It just it still doesn't feel real at times. So I'm hoping to do another video where I talk about kind of how I set up Blackheart, kind of the issues I faced, just kind of the journey that I went on in the process of setting up the brand. So yeah keep an eye out for that video because I've had lots of questions on how to set up a brand so I'm gonna go into more detail another day but let's get started. So I have nearly one of everything here with me today and we're gonna start with the best selling Flex Leggings. So these have sort of been our most popular product from day one. So the Flex Leggings are they are a riding legging with a thick high waistband. They have the logo down the side and they have a double phone pocket and the reason it is a double one is because I go to the gym a lot and I know from experience with hacking that you like to put things in your pocket. So with a gym you get like a gym card or with hacking you can have like a credit card or money or whatever you would take hacking with you and also your phone but how many times have you pulled your phone out of a pocket and things have just kind of fell out with it and when you're on a horse you really don't need to be hopping off to pick up any discarded bits. So the point of the double pocket is inside one layer you put your card and then inside the second layer your phone and that way you can take them out no hassle and the phone pocket is quite secure. I mean that was a huge factor for us because I know that I mean I personally have only just started jumping a little bit it's not what I've done all my life so I know that especially for jumping you need to be confident that's not going to fall out so I'd like to say that these are very secure. I mean obviously I don't advise falling off or falling onto your phone I just be careful but it seems to do the job so so on these as well we have the seams so our main seams are down two down the outside of the leg we have no seams on the inner leg and this is for comfort in the saddle no one wants to be rubbing against a seam or putting pressure on it so again perfect for riding. A lot of people ask me why we don't have a silicone seat on the leggings and this is because I would like the leggings to be multi-purpose I want you to be able to go to the gym to the supermarket to the stables anywhere in these leggings and not feel like they're kind of at the wrong place so if I put silicone on the inside you wouldn't really be able to go to the gym you'd stick to everything so no silicone on these. So these are the colour ink and we have these in around 10 colours I believe with more on the way so these are my first product but I've also got so I'm gonna pair the ink leggings with our blue round neck base layer so the round neck base layer is more of a sporty base layer and it's you know it's very breathable and it's a very stretchy kind of lycra this one is super comfortable this was inspired by when I was at school and I played netball and stuff like that like an actual under layer with no zips no frills no faff and this is fantastic to ride in it is perfect under a jumper a hoodie anything but also on its own because we've got very nice little features like this. So next up on the outfit list is the claret flex leggings so same as before they have the pocket they have the uh the seam in the right place they have no stick oh I forgot to mention before these are a non-slip fabric so we picked a fabric that went well in the saddle and I actually tested it in the saddle to ensure that it was not slippy because I can't imagine there's anything worse than getting into a saddle and not feeling secure or safe so they are made from a non-slip fabric and these I'm going to pair with our black training tops so I live in England so it's definitely not the hottest here I mean we've had a good few weeks but it's currently raining so when we do get a very nice day these are fantastic to wear to ride outside so these are nice training tops a similar material actually to the base layer nice and stretchy breathable just perfect to ride so these have a logo across the middle and then they also have cute little hearts down the back I'm not sure if you can see there we go next up on the list again is our flex leggings in damson so I've tried to put some outfits together whilst talking you through the other products um damson and our grey base layer so this is our zip base layer and it's actually part of the flex legging family they are both made of the same material and the colours are often matchy matchy so with this it's one of my favourite products actually because we have this zip and zipper pull this actually doubles as a emergency hair bubble so how many of you have ever been to the yard and you've forgotten your hair bubble it's happened to me so many times and I can't think of anything worse than riding without tying your hair back I mean I've used plaiting bands before but this means you don't have to so it's we actually designed it for this specific purpose so I think it's a stretchy little hair bubble the only thing is you've got to remember to put it back on so please do that on this base layer additionally we have a little secret phone pocket in the back of it so I'm not sure if you can see it's so secret you can't see it so there's a little zip and it's even got like a little headphone jack for if you wanted to put your phone in your pocket and listen to music whilst you're riding obviously now most things are wireless but you know if you've still got some old-fashioned wire headphones then little pocket again the features it has a logo on the back and it has a gorgeous metal logo tag here so this is our zip up base layer next up we've got sculpture leggings so these are just a different style of leggings a lot of times people ask me what's the difference between the sculpture and flex and I answer everything because they are just completely different products so these instead of having a similar high fabric waistband these are elastic and this has mesh panels down the thigh to help be more breathable and just slightly different logo features this is actually reflective in the light which I love but I think when it comes to leggings it's personal preference I love both of them however my all-time favorite is the flex just out of comfort they are so comfy and I live for a phone pocket so these ones don't have a phone pocket on but they are slightly cheaper so and I just think this is the most beautiful shade of blue this these are our sky blue and today I'm going to pair it with a white round neck base layer so last up today is our limited edition set so this was the first limited edition kind of collection that black heart has ever done and I am so proud of it I love this collection so I'm going to show you I'm not sure if it's going to come up very well on camera but we'll start with the leggings so these leggings they have there we go you can see it they have like a heart pattern on it like massive hearts in the massive logos and I just love it so these are similar style to the sculpture they have the elastic waistband which is a little bit shorter than the flex but we added a phone pocket so these have a lovely little mesh phone pocket on the leg and I just I love these these are very figure flattering so I will show you these in a second we have the base layer which I just think is absolutely beautiful it's a zip base layer the zip's got our logo engraved it has um down the arms is the pattern and then the base of it is plain so it's just it's beautiful looks so good with the leggings the third piece in this collection the that ties in is the breeches so we have limited edition breeches I don't know if you can see this and these ones they do have a sticky bum for all the people who like it so these are a full seat silicone breech and these are just so beautiful they have a gorgeous metal tag if you can see that they have two zip pockets on the bum with the sparkles and some detail some other details like on the leg and the button etc so these go absolutely beautiful with the base layer too the last item I'm going to show you today is our half zip so we have a half zip sweatshirt and I love this is very cute so it's got a zip halfway down we have a little pocket on the front and our logo elastic the whole way around we have a lot a few more details too like on the back of the neck but this is just perfect for riding like it's a nice it's not like a heavy jumper it's a nice mid-layer feel and this has been a favourite so yeah they're just a handful of items from my brand Black Heart Equestrian I will do another one of these videos showing you some more we do have some new products coming soon so I might do a sneaky peek on here
