Johann Georg Hoffmann
(Breslau [now Wrocław]?, 24 October 1700 - Niemcza?, 13 August 1780)

German composer, teacher and organist. Almost his whole life is unknown. He was documented in Gdansk, where he was active as a composer. His extant works are mainly sacred with several cantatas, in North-German style, psalms and masses but also instrumental with a set of harpsichord pieces and chamber music. #ClassicalMusic
