I had so much fun making the outfits for this video
and I strongly encourage you, encourage, encourage you
if you get inspired by any of these outfits
I show you to play around in your own clothes as well
even though you might not have the exact same things
that I do, you might have something similar
and you might be inspired to put them together
in a certain way.
I will list everything that I am wearing in this video
in the description box below or similar items
if it's something I've had for a long time.
And these are more casual outfits but still chic.
Some are a lot more casual than others.
I will stop rambling and let me show you
what I came up with.
So I talked about that I feel like everyone
needs a white sweater and with a white sweater
you can definitely do a lot with it, like dress it up
but I love it with my skinny jeans.
I have high-waisted skinny jeans that I still really love
and I like it with these chunky, black, low,
like no-heel boots that I got.
I really should have put these in my best and worst video
of 2022 because I really love these boots
and I will link them below if they're still available.
Love the chunky boot paired with the skinny jean
paired with the oversized white sweater.
I feel like it's a very simple outfit
but it still looks really good.
But the chunky boot kind of updates it a little bit.
The other thing I like with this white sweater
and the dark denim skinny jeans is I like my nude boots
which I've had these for I guess about three
or four years now.
I think they're actually still available.
I'm gonna try to find them and link them
because they're great.
But I love the nude with the white with the dark denim.
It's a very classic color combination.
So I just, you know, this is an easy, easy outfit.
You probably already have something similar
in your all-black outfits.
Always, you know, look great in fall and winter.
Very appropriate.
So I have these kind of a washed, black,
straight-leg denim jean and I love them.
They're such a great length and I love the high waist.
I love the cut.
I feel like they're kind of more of a casual jean.
And then I paired it with my black button-down.
And I paired it with this more traditional-style black belt.
I did some hard searching for the right belt for,
I really wanted a more traditional one
with like a square belt buckle
and I searched high and low and this is the one
that I found that I was in love with.
Anyway, I love it with this outfit.
The black on black on black.
And then I mentioned in another video
I went a little crazy on Black Friday
and these are some of the shoes that I got
and they are so freaking comfortable.
They're not Chanel but they're like,
kind of look like those Chanel shoes
that are really popular and I love them with this outfit.
I feel like the black on black outfit
kind of highlights the shoes
and I feel like it's just a very classy, classic look.
Now I also paired these pointy-toe shoes
that are amazing and fit super well
from the same company as the other shoes.
I paired them with this black on black outfit as well.
I feel like the pointy-toe really makes this outfit
really sophisticated.
You could easily do black loafers here
and before I had these pointy-toe black shoes,
that is what I was wearing these jeans with
and I seem to get compliments a lot
when I wore that combo of the black washed denim
and my black loafers.
So then because I love my green sweater
and I love these jeans so much and I love this belt
and I love these shoes, these pointy-toe black shoes
that feel great on my feet and don't hurt
which is like amazing.
Anyway, I wanted to pair them all together
and see what would happen and we did
and I like the outfit.
I like what came out of that.
The high-waisted black wash with the green,
it's just the right amount of everything
in this outfit for me.
I'm really loving it.
You're probably getting sick of these black washed jeans
but I just wanted to throw this outfit in really quick
because every time I wear this outfit, I get compliments.
People are like, wow, you just look so good today.
You look so put together and it's this top
that I got from Amazon that I showed you guys
a while back and the black washed denim
where I had these pointy-toe flats.
I was wearing it with the black loafers
and it just always seems to get compliments.
This next outfit, I wore on the plane
when I had to fly to New York.
I didn't have to but I went for a Christmas party
really quick.
It was a one-night thing but it was a great travel outfit.
It was one of my favorite pairs of sneakers.
These are so incredibly comfortable and I love the gold
and I love this olive sweater top that I have.
It's a little bit cropped so it works best
with high-waisted jeans but I just love the color
and I got so many compliments on this sweater on me
when I was traveling, just like in the airport,
on the plane, people are like, oh, I like that color on you
or like, oh, I like your sweater.
I'm like, oh, thanks, this is great.
So last year or the year before, I believe it was,
when leather really started coming back,
I was like, I want some leather pants,
I want a leather skirt.
I just really loved the look and I just could not find any
that I really liked and then this year, all of a sudden,
I found lots of things that I liked
but anyway, one of those things
is these leather brown pants.
I love the leather and I love the brown leather.
I love the high waist.
I love that they're more straight leg.
I like it paired with this fitted olive green bodysuit
that I have which is fitted but it's not too fitted.
It's tight but not too tight.
It doesn't squeeze me in the wrong places.
It just fits perfectly to me.
It's by Commando, I think it is and then I also, of course,
had to bring out my favorite bird belt
because it had to make an appearance
but I just really love the combination of colors
in this outfit and of course, I wanted to see
what it would look like with a black blazer
which, of course, it looks great.
It looks more professional,
like more like I'm going to work or something.
When I add the beige puffer jacket,
it makes it look more fun and I feel like
a little more casual, a little more carefree
so it's funny how just the jacket changes this look so much.
I also played around with my favorite green tweed blazer.
I just love this green tweed blazer.
It's so beautiful.
It's kind of cropped or I mean, kind of boxy
but I like it paired with the olive green
sticking out a little bit and the brown pants.
I just feel like it's such an interesting combination.
Now, this is what I mean when I was just having
so much fun making this video
because I went nutso pairing things with these pants.
I also liked the brown pants with this sweater
that I have on right now.
This is one, I think it's still available but it's so soft.
It comes in more neutral colors as well
but I just love the pink with the brown.
I feel like it's just really interesting looking
and then of course, I had to pair the leather
with my silk, with one of my silk tops.
My red silk just screamed that it needed
to go with those pants.
I love the red with the brown with the gold belt buckle.
I feel like it looks so classy and so rich looking
so I'm really loving that combo.
I love these pants.
I have 30 more ways I can style them, I believe
but I will save that for another video.
Y'all know I love some neutral on neutral
on brown on brown on brown outfits
and so of course, I had to pair it back with some taupe.
I have lots of tops that are in this color
and I wear all of them.
I just feel like it's such a beautiful color
and so easy to wear.
So I just had to pair that back with it too.
You know, it looks good like that too.
I have so many outfits with these brown pants.
Y'all let me know which combination is your favorite.
I didn't mean to have 30 different combinations
with just these brown pants
but that's what happened and here they are.
I feel like of all the years in the history of ever,
this year I have a really nice sweater collection
and the reason why I feel like it's really nice
is because it gives me some color,
they're all very soft and cozy
and they just kind of go with a lot of things.
So this is one of them.
I know you've already seen me wear this a few times
but it's like a bluish purplish sweater.
It does come in some more neutral colors.
It's a free people sweater
but I just really love this color.
I paired it with these dark wash boot cut jeans
and then it looked fine without the belt
but I felt like adding my bird belt
kind of dressed it up just a little bit
and then these boots that I have on,
I, wow, I have to be one of the most comfortable
pairs of boots I've ever owned.
They're ankle boots.
They're super, super nice.
They're real leather.
Anyway, I love this outfit.
It's so easy.
It's one of those five minute outfits
that looks put together but you didn't really do
a whole lot so this is a win in my book.
This next outfit gives off rich mom energy vibes
and it's not my creation
even though it is kind of a classic outfit.
I did see it on a girl on Instagram
and I will put her picture up here
so I can give her credit.
But anyway, I love, you know,
this is just a white button down.
I have my favorite new boot cut jeans
by Veronica Beard that are on sale
although there's not many sizes left
but I will link them below
because they're amazing.
Then, instead of the sweater being tied up
around your neck, which also looks good,
I love how she had just kind of
put it over her shoulder so it was just kind of hanging.
So I feel like it added a nice contrast.
And of course, had to try it on
with the washed black denim jeans that I love
just to see what that would look like.
I'm not really sure which look I prefer.
I feel like they do two different things.
Here I've got those skinny jeans again
and I wanted to put it with a more colorful outfit
and something a little bit more,
you know, trend driven.
So we've got the cowboy or western inspired boots,
I should say.
These aren't really, I guess, traditional cowboy boots.
This lavender sweater top I got in a size medium.
I probably should have gotten it in a size small
but I wanted something really loose fit
and kind of just cozy and comfy
which this one is super, super, super soft.
Anyway, I do like a little bit of a front tuck here
but it is big enough to wear if I really wanted
to just kind of let it hang.
It doesn't hang in that weird place
like cutting you off at your hips.
It hangs a little bit lower
so you could definitely do that with this top
and I love the lavender.
I feel like it's such an unexpected color
for fall and winter.
So this was a super traditional outfit
and I'm sure you have something like this in your closet
but I have the straight leg jeans
and then I have my favorite black cardigan top
that I've talked about several times.
It's like a fitted black cardigan but not too fitted
and you can kind of unbutton it where you want to
or not unbutton it but I like it kind of unbuttoned
to be a little bit of a v-neck
and then I like that contrast with the jacket.
It might be too much of a contrast for some people
but I'm really feeling this.
Tried it with my blue blazer which I love,
adds a pop of color.
I put my more traditional plaid blazer over it
which I also love, a little bit more toned down
and then I have this super cute cropped puffer jacket
that I am obsessed with.
I've been wearing it like crazy.
I wore it when I was in New York
and I know I'm gonna be able to wear it here in Florida
because it's thick but it's not too thick
and I love the cream.
I just really love this jacket.
It's not even that expensive
but yeah, so I have that with the cardigan as well
and I think I may like the blazers better with this
but I do like the puffer for a more casual look.
So I got this green faux suede skirt,
mini skirt on Amazon and I've been playing around with it.
I removed the belt that it came with.
So I replaced it with my new black belt
that I'm obsessed with
and then I started adding sweaters to it.
So first I added this oatmeal sweater which I love
but I kind of feel like it needs to be
a little bit more oversized for this skirt
but the skirt is super cute and I'm wearing a small here.
It does run a little bit big.
I tried it almost in different sweaters
and I think in the end I liked it best
with my thick oversized white sweater and then the belt.
I feel like it looks like a really cute outfit
but you can do this with boots and tights and even flats.
It's a really cute little outfit
and I feel like this skirt can easily go into spring as well.
I kept putting black shoes with this skirt
because I just felt like it would kind of look better
with the olive and then my black belt and everything
but I actually think I really like the nude boots
with this skirt a lot.
Y'all let me know.
So I've mentioned in a couple videos
I love the slit in like a midi or maxi skirt
and I have one that I love the color
and I love the slit and so I was playing around with it.
I think I actually hiked it up a little bit too much
for this video.
I didn't mean to hike it up that high.
It's really far up my waist.
Anyway, this is a stretchy skirt
but I wanted to put it with some like neutral
and like taupe-ish sweaters and then boots
and just keep it kind of a neutral looking outfit.
You could obviously do something else with it
but I love this color so much
and I love it paired back with other neutrals.
I feel like I wanted to stay there
and I also love since this skirt
is a little bit more on the fitted side,
it's not tight at all but it's fitted
rather than like an A-line or something like that,
I like kind of having something loose fit up top
and then I love a heeled boot with this.
I really love the white sweater with this skirt
but I think my favorite might be my cropped turtleneck,
kind of a neutral taupe color.
I've actually had this top for, I don't know,
seven or eight years and it just never gets old
and then since I was keeping it so brown and taupe
and beige, decided to try some black.
So I added a kind of more boxy cropped cardigan
and then some black boots which I also like this outfit too.
I feel like it kind of gives a different look to the skirt.
So I know we're talking about casual outfits
but I know everybody pretty much has black trouser pants.
Now it took me a while to find black trouser pants
that I really was obsessed with.
I have gone through so many trial and error with them
and these I'm really obsessed with
but they are a little bit dressier.
So I felt pairing it with my lime green top
and then this really funky faux leather jacket that I have
would kind of tone it down a little bit
and make it a little more casual.
I'm not 100% sure I'm on this combination here.
In trying to make it more casual,
I think I may have made it just confusing
but I'm gonna keep playing
because I think I'm onto something
but I'm just not there yet with this particular.
Now what I do really like are these black trouser pants
with my new favorite belt
and this orange sweatshirt type top.
This still feels very like
you could definitely wear this to work
or somewhere that you have a meeting or something like that
but I feel like it looks more fun.
The orange color is a very fun color.
The sleeves are more playful.
So I do like this look.
Those were the outfits I came up with.
I could have come up with more.
Just give me some more time
but I hope they give you some inspiration
in your own closet
or you're like, that's what I've been missing in my life.
That one thing will draw everything together that I have
or just give you some kind of help
in putting together some outfits
that make you feel good, make you feel happy.
I will link everything that I'm wearing in here
in the description box below.
If I forgot anything, just comment or something
and I will figure it out.
And yeah, I really appreciate you guys.
I hope y'all are having a good December
and I will see you in, oh, I always forget this.
Give this video a thumbs up if you liked it
or a thumbs down if you didn't
and consider subscribing if you haven't already
and I will see you next time.
