Rep. Gina Mosbrucker - CSJR Committee comments on Senate Bill 5352 (police pursuit) - March 28, 2023

Rep. Gina Mosbrucker, ranking member of the House Community Safety, Justice and Reentry Committee provides final remarks before the committee votes on Senate Bill 5352, the police vehicular pursuit bill. The bill would only allow police pursuits of those suspected of committing a violent offense, a sex offense, domestic violence-related offenses, vehicular assault, driving under the influence, and trying to escape arrest.

Mosbrucker voted for the bill, but pointed out in her remarks, "We can do better than this, right?"
