Franz Xaver Kleinheinz
(Mindelheim, bap. 26 June 1765 - Budapest, 29 January 1832)
German conductor and composer. He played in the Munich Orchestra and in 1803 went to Vienna to study with Albrechtsberger. He then was active in Brünn, and subsequently was a theater conductor in Budapest (1814-15; 1817-24). He wrote the operas Harald (Budapest, 22 March 1814) and Der Käfig (Budapest, 1816), as well as a Piano Concerto, chamber music and sacred works. He also made transcriptions for string quartet of Beethoven’s early piano sonatas. As a teacher, among others, Giulietta Guicciardi and Therese Brunsvik y Josephine Brunsvik were his students. #ClassicalMusic
