90 Day Fiancé - Amira’s Mexico Drama Might Impact Her Visa Status TLC
There’s nothing less sexy than filing paperwork, but for couples on TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé, it’s a major part of their relationships. Most of the duos featured on the reality show are entrenched in some kind of visa or citizenship application. And when things go wrong, the drama gets popping.
So far, we have watched Kenny and Armando struggle to make their marriage license legal in Mexico. We have also seen Larissa Lima be detained by ICE.
One couple, however, has managed to find itself in an immigration mess never seen before.
American lover boy Andrew and his French bride-to-be Amira were planning a little rendezvous in Mexico. Amira, however, got herself deported, and now her American visa application could be at risk for denial.
A Vacation Catastrophe
When the pandemic hit, Amira and Andrew realized they would have to delay the future bride’s big move to the US. In order to spend some time together, however, the pair decided to schedule a romantic getaway in Mexico. Unfortunately, one member of the couple didn’t make it past border control at the airport.
Amira was immediately deported upon arrival. The show doesn’t dig too far into the reasons behind her deportation; however a report by Screen Rant suggests that she somehow managed to leave her passport in France.
She also reportedly failed to comply with various other entry requirements for Mexico, one of which was a round-trip ticket.
Based on all of this information, it shouldn’t have been too much a surprise to Amira (or anyone?) that the Mexican authorities weren’t going to be down with her weird, undocumented vacation plans.
