So far, this motorcycle trip to Mexico has been amazing!
Good morning and welcome to today's video. Today is going to be a great day and I'm glad you all
are along for the ride because we're leaving Phoenix Arizona heading in to Mexico for the
Rocky Point Rally. So I spent last night in the most amazing place right here in Cave Creek. It's
a house and it's built into these stones like you see behind me and all this cactus. I just
want to share this with you because if you're ever in Phoenix Arizona area this is definitely
a Airbnb worth checking out. This is what I mean by the house is built into the stones. Look at
that. That is one of them stones from outside actually coming through the wall and the house
itself is built into that stone. You can see it again there behind that chair and you'll
see even more outside. I'm ready to go to Mexico. You're ready to go to Mexico? Yes. All right and Lori where you at
there Lori? There she is. Lori how are you doing today? Fabulous. Now y'all might remember Lori
from our trip through Mexico last spring. We rode through the Baja of California. Me Lori and a few
veterans. We had a great time and I learned that trip that Lori is an excellent traveling partner.
So today we're traveling with Miss Lori. So Lori this is your Airbnb here right? Yes it is. So where do
people find it? On Airbnb under Cave Creek Casitas. Cave Creek Casitas. We are the closest Airbnb to
downtown to the bars. So you can walk home after happy hour. That is a fact. The bars you can hear
them from from night. If you're quiet and you sit on the front porch you can actually hear the bars
from over that hill over there. Christy's riding with us today. Christy how you doing? Awesome.
And today you're riding your Yamaha? V-Star 1300. 1300. Yeah plug for Yamaha. Plug for Yamaha. We
love Yamaha. Yamaha is good by me. And my boy Ken you guys remember him from the Caye River
Campground. He is running Scooter's Jeep on the trip. This way Scooter can come with us. Scooter
just doesn't do well with motorcycles anymore and the temperature changes and all that. It's just
it's too much for him with all his medication everything he's on. But I just don't want to
leave him at home especially when he's this sick. So Ken decided to come with us so that we could
bring Scooter and Scooter could come to Mexico. Let me bring you outside. Outside you've got fire
pits out here. Big Saguaro. I forget how to say those cactuses. Somebody correct me if I say it
wrong. Sequoia. Saguaro. Saguaro something cactuses. Overlooking this beautiful. Look at this.
You guys this spot is so amazing. Now if you come through here you've got your pool. You've got
another hammock. You've got a hot tub over the view. A little garden area. A sitting area over
there for eating with your barbecue. See you got the grill. Everything man. Y'all Lori has become
a dear friend of mine and just a huge help to my channel and the community. So if y'all come through
Phoenix area and you want to go to the number one motorcycle party spot in Phoenix Arizona.
It's actually a little town called Cave Creek and this place sits right on top of it.
We are stuck here. A little bit lost. The road has turned from pavement to dirt. We made a wrong
turn trying to avoid the traffic but thank god we did because we met Phil and Michelle from Cave
Creek who happened to watch the channel and came out and helped us find the directions. Yeah. So
much love Phil. Thank you so much and how you loving that EcoDiesel Jeep? Great. You loving it?
Absolutely. What size tires? 37s. And how many miles a gallon? About 22. You're doing better
than me on that one back there I promise. So I love finding roadside attractions like this
and places where people make the mark all over. Look at all this. Too cool. Today we're going to
add my mark to this mess. I think we'll go right there. Yeah. That'll work.
Runner Pie. What you doing buddy? Huh? The scooter has always loved the desert and the sand
haven't you partner? It's always been your jam huh? Yeah. Yep. We're in a little border town
called Ajo and I don't know much about it but it's on the American side of the border. It's
the last fairly big town before you hit Mexico. I think it has a population of about 1,800 people
but just on the other side of the border is a pet rescue that Lori happens to know about. Lori
what's it called? Barb's Dog Rescue. And it's just on the other side of Mexico. That's right. So what
are we here to do? We're going to buy some dog treats and some dog food. That is right. We're
buying some dog treats and dog food. We're going to drop it off at this pet rescue. On our way
Are you sure it's A-Haw and not A-Ho? Oh baby you're so pretty.
Some different stuff. Let's get some prime cuts. I think we have to get the gravy train.
You can't do it without gravy train. The old Heartland Farms. What you got over there Lori?
Oh just some I don't know really dog treats. I don't know what she needs so we'll take a little
amen. I know there's got to be some bigger dogs in there if you want.
Some bigger bones. Let's hook them up. And this my friends is one of the reasons we have a pickup
truck. When you're getting gas which you should get as soon as you get in the border as we just did
these gentlemen and ladies will be pumping for you and you'll always find the peso it's a dollar
exchange rate at that gas station right on the building there so you can check the pump you look
the pesos you divide it by the number up there and then you got a pretty good idea what you
should be getting charged. What do you think baby? We're Mexico. You're officially an international
rider. Is this your first time riding in another country? Yes. Her first time in Mexico.
Got pool tables without any holes in them. This is the scenery. Just a quick little stop.
See here. Oh perfect. There we go. Yeah this is nice baby. Balcony. The weather could not
be any more beautiful right now y'all. Perfect time of year and the ocean's right there. You
can't see it from here at night but during the day you'll be able to see the ocean right there
during the day for sure. You know what I think this is gonna work. There you go partner. Good
boy. Scooter approves. Quick disclaimer this is not a pet friendly hotel in general but we got an
exception made for my boy Scooter. So all in all I think a pretty good day and a great trip which
is what motorcycle adventuring is all about in my opinion. Some great friends. Some great roads. Some
new experiences. Unfortunately we did not make it by the dog rescue did we guys? No. No but there's
always tomorrow. So stay tuned before this is over. We will take a ride over and visit
that dog rescue and donate that food. Favorite part of the day. Ready set go. Beating your dog.
That's Scooter. You're never taking my fingers off. Favorite part of the day Ken?
The view from right here. It was good. Favorite part of the day? Being part of the adventure and
now being able to say I'm an international writer. Amen. Best part of the day baby doll.
Absolutely an amazing adventure. Y'all welcome to Mexico. It was completely, I felt safe the
entire time. Did you guys feel safe the entire time? Absolutely. We enjoyed it. A great trip
down. It's wide open. You can still come. Mexico motorcycle rally. This will be a first for me
and I will see you all in tomorrow's video. Remember whatever challenge it is that you're
it can be overcome. All you gotta do is put your mind to it.
Stay stubborn and you will be seen through to the other side. I'll see y'all in tomorrow's video.
