0:00 - Man City SCARED - Haaland pulls OUT 5:35 - Manchester United takeover THIS MONTH!
It's official. Man City are genuinely scared of Arsenal and this title run-in. How do we know
this? Erling Haaland. This man is a robot. This man is a cyborg. This guy is an absolute colossus.
But he has just pulled out of the Norway squad for their upcoming games over this international
break due to a slight groin injury following Manchester City's 6-0 win versus Burnley.
Now I, for one, know exactly what is going on here. As a Manchester United fan,
Sir Alex Ferguson was consistently in the ear of Manchester United's most pivotal players,
Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, to drop international duty, pull out of international breaks,
especially in the March period, just before the home straight of the league. So I am not
surprised to see this news today that Erling Haaland has picked up an injury and will get two
weeks rest. No Arsenal fan should be shocked by this news in any way, any shape, or in any form.
We've also seen Marcus Rashford do this. Marcus Rashford has pulled out of the England squad
with an injury. Now there may be some fatigue when it comes to Rashford. There could be some
fatigue when it comes to Haaland. Both Man City and Manchester United have played the most amount
of games this season out of all teams in the top six. But this was always going to happen.
Haaland was always going to pull out of this international. It was always going to. I don't
think any Arsenal fan should be surprised by this. I don't think any City fan should be surprised by
this. But the question is why? Before we delve into that, make sure you hit the like button now,
subscribe to the Football Terrace, but you must click the bell notification button. You'll see
it right next to the sub button. Even if you're subscribed, turn it on and put notifications on
on your phone for YouTube so you know when we upload videos and you know when we go live. Also
scan that QR code on the screen right now to listen to the top six podcast on Spotify or a
podcast provider of your choice. Now 3,000 new followers in the last two weeks alone for me is
mind-blowing. Thank you to all of you that have done it. If you haven't, get it done now. There's
also a link in the description if you want to motor on forward. But why has Haaland pulled out?
I've said it already and I'll say it again. There is a fear at City about Arsenal taking their crown
away. Fear. They're scared. They're worried. They're anxious. Manchester City know without Haaland fit,
they cannot win the league. As good as their squad is. And I mean they've got great goal
contributions this season. KDB is on around 25 this season. Foden on 20. Mahrez 19. Julian
Alvarez has 16 goals and assists this year combined across all competitions. But without Haaland,
there is no way City win this Premier League title. In my opinion, with how they've been this
year, he is everything to them. So they must wrap this guy in cotton wool every minute they can.
It's why he came off early in the game against Leipzig. I think Haaland himself wanted to try
and go on and beat Messi's in-game goal-scoring record in a knockout Champions League game.
But Pep's like, no, I've got to pull him out. I've got to rest him. The same as in this international
break. You can bet your bottom dollar that Pep Guardiola and or other officials at Chelsea were
in his ear saying, listen, please, if you could, could you rest for this next two weeks? We want
you fresh as a daisy, ready to go for that big game when the league returns against Liverpool.
We need you fit. And all of this stems from a genuine fear that City have about Arsenal.
They are scared that Arsenal will take their title away. The apprentice in Mikel Arteta coming back
to haunt them. All the praise, all the adulation, everything they taught Arteta. Coming back to
bite them in the backside. There's nothing sinister about it, but it is painful. It always will be
when someone that you've helped and developed comes back to beat you. It really, really is.
I'm not surprised to see this news. This is not a dig at Man City. This is actually a great tactic.
This is what they have to do. And listen, Saka's gone on England duty. I know he wants to be there.
That kid should be pulling out as well. Honest to God, I'm always club over country. That's just my
stance on it. I want to know what yours is in the comments section right now. But again, we've
seen so many little things this year that prove that Arsenal are the real deal. They're not a
season one though. City have now put a process in place which bans Arsenal from buying any of their
first team players. You've seen some of the sarcastic and scathing reactions from Pep Guardiola.
And now Haaland, the most prolific and dangerous striker in the world, pulling out of international
duty for his country with an injury, a minor injury, to rest up for the running. All the signs
of fear are there. But I suppose fear is good. Without that fear, without that fear, maybe they
won't work as hard. Let's see how this plays out. I want your thoughts and I want your feeling. Up next,
we're talking about the Manchester United takeover. Let's go. We know a new bid is on the way
and sources close to the Sheik from Qatar and his team have said that any revised bid for
Manchester United will be informed by the very productive and positive discussions
they held over 10 hours with Manchester United last Thursday. Now there is an old saying that
you shouldn't count your chickens before they are hatched. But Man United fans, be excited.
Man United fans, start. You know, chill that champagne. Get those takeaways on order. Get the
bunting and the party poppers ready. Because the reign of the Glazers is coming to an end. These
men have systematically, undeniably, destroyed this football club from the greatness it once
was. It was a slow erosion from when they first took over because Fergie and his team were running
the football club. But even in the latter years of Fergie, they failed to invest in adequate
central midfield replacements, adequate replacements for the Vidicis, the Rio Ferdinands
of this world. Man United then went through a 10-year period of poor investment, overpaying
players, a mercenary transfer approach, terrible project decisions when it comes to hiring new
managers, and the decay of the training ground and stadium to boot. But that is coming to an end.
Guitar are ready to buy us for a bid nearing £6 billion. You have the likes of Sir Jim Ratcliffe,
who are already kind of releasing statements that sound very defeatist. We won't play above
the odds. We won't be hung out to dry. And it is now reported that there will be between
five to eight bids come the deadline tomorrow night for Manchester United. There is a huge
feeling, 99% certainty, that the Glazers will accept one and do a full controlled sale. When
I say a full controlled sale, no owner is going to have 100% of the club because around 30% of
football club is currently out in the stock market for anybody, the general public,
investment firms, hedge funds, to invest in. It's going to take the new owners time
to buy those shares back and have full 100% ownership of the club. But worry not,
because those shares that are on the stock market are called A-shares at Man United,
and they hold no power or voting rights. In fact, the owners of the club are not even
that accountable to those shareholders. So they are to a degree, but they'll be letting
them know that we're pulling this off. We're going to buy them back from you at a certain price,
but not to worry. So no one's going to have majority ownership, but don't be scared by
what the media say about that. This is exciting times to be a Manchester United fan. The 10
halves project has started impeccably well. One trophy captured already, semifinal of the FA Cup,
quarterfinals and favourites against Sevilla in the Europa League, and third in the Premier League
table. Fighting on all four fronts is a brilliant start. But what Ted Haag needs is further
investment. He needs even better football minds at board level, and the club needs higher standards
and sustainability, improvements in infrastructure, letting those players know that Man United want to
get back to being not just the biggest in the world commercially, but the best in the world
on the football picture as well. And the word scared has come up a lot this season in the
vocabulary of the football terrorists, because I think it's a very strong and sincere word.
Grown men don't like being called scared because they see it as weakness. But I just see scared
as being the right feeling I have about superior teams. I am always fearful, worried. I fret over,
I fear, I'm scared of teams that are powerful, rich and better than my club. And the fear isn't
hiding under the bed wanting to call my dad, I'm scared daddy. The fear is that they are better
and more sustainable than my club. Period. And this takeover for Manchester United,
it will be played down as you've always spent money. It won't change overnight. Oh, by God,
it will. Oh, by God, it will. Man United have been a sleeping giant for over a decade. We've
been a decaying giant for the best part of 20 years. But this will see us on the up and up
and move on to new levels. It absolutely will. I want all your thoughts and I want your feelings
below. People leave your comments for us. Very intrigued to know what you think about these
two stories today. Make sure that QR code is scanned. We want you to come and listen to us
on Spotify. I know you love YouTube. I know you love YouTube, but there are other places to listen
to the terrorists as well. And we have to spread our wings to come and follow us there. Make sure
that bell notification is turned on as well. The algorithm is not your friend. And honest to God,
less than 4% of you get told when we're live or when we post videos unless you have push

Until next time, people, take care of yourselves. Back live, 3.30 today with Lee Gunner to review
the Premier League weekend, the international break. And we're going to go through some big
transfer stories as well. Until next time, take care. Goodbye. God bless. And I'll see you all
