Saluyot or Jute is one of Filipinos favourite vegetable, it is slimy in texture, similar to okra when cooked. It is best cooked with bamboo shoots, however you can cook it in various ways. Saluyot soup or sinabawang saluyot is my favourite. In this video, I demonstrate how I cook it the simplest way.
