Legend of the Moon Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋節 is one of the most important holidays on the Chinese calendar. There are many stories and legend that explains the origin of the Moon Festival like the story of Chang E 嫦娥 and Hou Yi 后羿 and how the Han people used mooncakes to defeat the Mongols.
