Star Wars Day - May the Fourth Be With You!

So this is Hank, he's our friend, and you guys know Porter. We're playing at Hank's house today. What are you guys gonna do right now? Are you gonna go on an adventure? Yeah! What is it? You're gonna get the car out? You're not old enough to drive. Yes. No way, Jose. Yes. What do you think, Hank? Are you old enough to drive? Four. You're four? And I'm four too. Oh gosh, well I guess that means you're old enough. Okay, go get it. Let's go! Let her get in. She'll be your sidekick. Your sister cramping your style? Look at that cute little princess crown. That was a glass-breaking box. Get out, Piper. Dinosaur. Playing dinosaurs? Dinosaur robot. Oh, dinosaur robot. Since it is Star Wars Day today, what better way to celebrate Star Wars Day, May the 4th, by watching the very first episode of Star Wars. Not the first episode. Why do they call it the first episode when it's really not? The first ever movie, I don't know which episode it is. I don't really know anything about Star Wars. What? Done. That's the done part? Done. Yeah, it's now, they just have this at the beginning because it's like telling the beginning of the story. Oh, that's Star Wars ship. It's got- It's got what? It's got a point. Oh yeah, it's got a point? Uh-huh. Buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh, buh. They're all going the wrong way. Going a different way. Who are those guys? Who's that? I don't know. That's Luke Skywalker. Yes. He has a life saver. Not yet. Hey, that's his, that's his pa and that's his grandma. They're chewing. Is he kidding? I'm gonna move this. That's a good hiding spot. He's not very good. Those guys are not very nice. He's in charge of the Star Wars ship. Hey guys, today was a rollercoaster of emotions and just like crazy, just craziness. Like there were moments when I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm being such a good mom today. And like playing with my kids and I don't know, not being on my phone or on the computer and actually like spending lots of time with them. And then there are other times I'm like, okay, I need to just stop and calm down and be a good mom for like a little bit longer. Today's definitely one of those days where I feel, I was just feeling like not a good mom. And I have those days and I was feeling like that. And then I got the kids in the bath and got everyone cleaned up. And you know how kids are and they're like instantly, like they instantly forget whatever you did wrong and they forgive you and they just wanna have fun with you starting like now, you know what I mean? So maybe that's my thought for today is that if you're feeling like there are things in your life and maybe in the way you are a mother, if there are things that need to change that you can start now. Realize what those things are, start now and move forward instead of being sad about things that you regret. And if things aren't perfect right away, it doesn't matter. You're trying and that's what's important. And guess what? Your kids will always love you, especially when you try so hard. I got the kids in the bath and we got all cleaned up and we sang some songs and we read some books and like they're happily falling asleep in their beds right now. And it's a real relief so I can, you know, have some me time. But at the same time, I just love them so much and I can't wait for them to wake up in the morning. So anyway, that's my two cents about being a mom. I am no expert, but I am trying hard every day to be my best and that's all we can do. We'll see you guys tomorrow. Bye.
