Heartless is a song by American producer Diplo featuring American country singer Morgan Wallen. Heartless lyrics were written by Diplo, Wallen, King Henry, Ryan Vojtesak, Ernest Keith Smith, and Ryan Hurd. The song was released through Mad Decent and Columbia Records on August 16, 2019. It was certified Gold by the RIAA on November 19, 2019, Platinum on February 12, 2020, and double Platinum on June 16, 2020, for 2 million units in sales and streams. As of March 2020, the song has sold 73,000 copies in the United States.
Diplo and Morgan Wallen’s Heartless is one of the best collaborations in country music. Though Diplo and Morgan Wallen did not meet until filming the music video. The two stars actually recorded their parts separately. But the result was incredible. Just the first time listening to it, you’ll know that it’s a smash hit. The song was highlighted by Wallen’s raspy voice set against effects-heavy guitar harmonies unfolding at its pace. The booming trap beat at the chorus heightened the tension throughout the one-sided relationship in the song.

Morgan Wallen, born May 13, 1993, is an American country singer and songwriter. He is a popular Deep Talent Show artist who competed in the sixth season of The Voice (2014).
In 2015, Morgan Wallen signed to Panacea Records, releasing his debut EP, Stand Alone.
In 2018, Morgan Wallen released his debut album with Big Loud, If I Know Me, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The album includes the singles "Up Down" (featuring Florida Georgia Line), "Whiskey Glasses", and "Chasin' You".
In January 2021, Morgan Wallen released the second album with Big Loud, Dangerous: The Double Album. One month later, this album became the only country one in the 64-year history of the Billboard 200 to spend its first seven weeks at No. 1. It spent a total of ten weeks at that spot. This album included Billboard No. 1 singles "More Than My Hometown", "7 Summers", and "Wasted on You".
