"Whiskey Glasses" is a country song written by Ben Burgess and Kevin Kadish in 2015 with the theme of someone who turned to drink because of a bad breakup. Then it was pitched to Morgan Wallen, and this American country music singer recorded it with producer Joey Moi.
Justin Clough directed its music video, in which Wallen was shown trying to mend his broken heart by drinking after his girlfriend dumped him. Wallen eventually migrated to a bar with his friends and performed the song live.
"Whiskey Glasses" was first released in the summer of 2018 as the third single from Morgan Wallen's 2018 studio album, "If I Know Me" and became a hit in 2019 after topping the Hot Country Songs chart. "Whiskey Glasses" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart dated June 8, 2019. The song was certified 3× Platinum by the RIAA on May 8, 2020, and has sold 391,000 copies in the United States as of March 2020.

Morgan Wallen, born May 13, 1993, is an American country singer and songwriter. He is a popular Deep Talent Show artist who competed in the sixth season of The Voice (2014).
In 2015, Morgan Wallen signed to Panacea Records, releasing his debut EP, Stand Alone.
In 2018, Morgan Wallen released his debut album with Big Loud, If I Know Me, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The album includes the singles "Up Down" (featuring Florida Georgia Line), "Whiskey Glasses", and "Chasin' You".
In January 2021, Morgan Wallen released the second album with Big Loud, Dangerous: The Double Album. One month later, this album became the only country one in the 64-year history of the Billboard 200 to spend its first seven weeks at No. 1. It spent a total of ten weeks at that spot. This album included Billboard No. 1 singles "More Than My Hometown", "7 Summers", and "Wasted on You".
Wallen has continued releasing new music and remained a popular draw on the road. Besides that, he will continue to expand to stadiums.
