Stunning Aurora & Spinning Planes: What Caused it? // Space Weather

Multiple solar flares have been sent Earth's way, causing spectacular shows of aurora borealis in the night sky over the northern and mid-latitudes. Some pilots have also been spinning their aircraft mid-flight to let passengers on both sides take a look! Dr. Tamitha Skov covers all of the solar activity that led to this week's events.
