Building a Plastic Covered Hut in the RAINFOREST| Open Fire System| Bushcraft Survival Project

In this bushcraft shelter building project, we will be constructing a plastic-covered hut in the heart of the rainforest. Our shelter will provide us with protection from the elements and the wildlife that inhabits the area. We will also be using an open fire system to cook our meals and provide warmth during the night.

First, we will start by selecting the location for our shelter. We will look for an area with good natural resources, such as trees and rocks, that we can use in the construction process. We will also consider factors such as wind direction, sunlight, and water sources.

Next, we will gather materials for the shelter. We will collect long branches or saplings for the frame of the hut and use vines or cordage to lash them together. We will also gather leaves, ferns, and other debris for insulation and to create a waterproof layer. Finally, we will cover the structure with a plastic sheet to protect us from the rain.

To cook our food, we will create an open fire system. We will use rocks to make a fire ring and gather wood from the surrounding area. We will also make a grill using sticks and wire to cook our food.

Overall, this project will demonstrate the importance of resourcefulness and creativity when surviving in the wilderness. By utilizing materials found in the rainforest and employing basic survival skills, we will create a comfortable shelter and cooking system that will allow us to thrive in the wild.
