Overwatered Plants & New Waterfall Fountain | Camera Broke! Mess of a Vlog!

Camera broke! I didn’t realize how bad it was until I sat down to edit this video and most the clips were corrupted or so poor quality that they were useless. Starting things off I talked about overwatered plants. In my case the overwatered plant is a hydrangea tree that was totally drenched from all of the storms we’ve been having. Saving overwatered plants is pretty simple but not always successful. A lot of the success has to do with how long the plant has been soaked. This particular plant never sat in heavily saturated soil for an extended period of time, so I think it will be ok. I have pulled the plant, removed old soil and repotted it back into it’s original container. Later in the video I did a brief unboxing and review of a garden fountain I got on clearance in a shopping vlog at Michael’s Crafts. Setting up this garden fountain was incredibly simple and fast which I really liked; small fountains are usually a breeze to put together since they aren’t in a lot of pieces that need to be assembled. This waterfall fountain will be great to place somewhere in the garden, probably my zen or meditation garden, but it is very small, so maybe placed on a table top would be more fitting in the home and garden. I’ll be moving the fountain around to various areas and seeing how I like it. This would be nice to have inside surrounded by houseplants. Houseplants that need higher humidity actually would really enjoy being next to a fountain like this. Having a lot of moving water will help provide humidity to houseplants, and this is way more attractive than a humidifier! It is not going to humidify a large space though, but whatever indoor plants are right next to it will benefit. Maybe would be great indoor gardening with all of those things in mind. New camera just arrived! Not in time to help this vlog but I can’t wait to get going with next week’s vlog! I’m thinking a field trip is in order!
