What to look for in a mixed martial arts school?

Again you want to make sure the instructor is credible. Do research on your instructor and make sure they they've trained with somebody who's got the knowledge and the experience.

Make sure they have fighters if you are looking to cage fight. Watch their classes, see how they interact with the students. Do they yell at the students, are they motivating? It's very important because as an adult we are like big kids you want to be motivated and not yelled at and told what to do.

If you are doing MMA for kids make sure the instructor is nice with the kids, positive reinforcement, always reinforcing what they are teaching because if they don't then you definitely don't want to be at that school.

Make sure the school is clean, make sure the instructors and coaches have certifications in what they are teaching. Here at my school we're certified from The Pit. I've trained under John Hackleman who is Chuck Lidell's instructor for 3 years. I went out to California and got my certification.

We have 9 fighters who train here at the school.

So always do your research when it comes to joining an MMA school.
