San Diego’s Historic Gaslamp Quarter

The Gaslamp Quarter is the historic heart of San Diego. It's were you find great food and music among the beautifully restored old buildings from the late 1800s and early 1900s.

The Gaslamp district includes 4th, 5th and 6th Avenues, roughly between E and L-Streets, but 5th Avenue has the most attractions, including the large gateway arch at the southern end.

Also nearby is the Gaslamp Museum at 410 Island Ave., the Balboa Theater at 4th & G, the Convention Center, and Petco Baseball Park, home of the San Diego Padres.
