Tony with La Lita Loca. Am I live now? Hello, hello. What's up everybody? Tony with La Lita Loca and
it is, it's the end of the cruise. I'm so sad. They're kicking me off. It's the end.
Time to debark. So yeah, we made it here to the port of Shanghai before I even woke up.
What's up Jenny B? What's going on? So sad, it's cruise day. Hey Bristol, how's it going?
Hey, what's up Daniel Donnelly? Jesse Sykes, Linda Liu, TP, what's going on? Angel Eyes,
Roland Lees, Sydney Tamrick, Nadia, Ellen, what's going on? Hey girl, Shortcut C, Anita.
The chat's going to come fast and furious. What's up Roy, Dave and Brandy? Cakes by La Minka,
Phoebe, how soon is my flight? Not till 5 p.m. tonight. So it is, it's about seven o'clock
Shanghai time. Sorry, I'm on my, on a little handheld here so it's going to be a little shaky.
What's up Emily? Everybody's scrolling by. I'll show you the port real quick. So yeah,
probably like, I woke up at 4.30 and by 5 I think we were docked. So this is the cruise
terminal here in Shanghai. So shaky with my hand here. Let me, let me go two hands on the phone,
see if we can get a decent pan. That's the cruise terminal there in Shanghai and yeah,
this is a little bit of a look. Now it's pretty gray this morning but it's a lot better than when
we'd left when the typhoon was bearing down. But yeah, just a little, a little last bit on my
balcony here. So a little balcony time. Yeah, a lot of, a lot of comments Jenny B, the people
miss seeing you. It is weird to be cruising without you. It's been an adventure. I've had
a great time with Dawn but it's not the same as cruising with my lady. She definitely adds an
element that I've missed on this cruise. Plus she's a good person to snuggle with,
if you know what I mean. But I have exclusive rights on Jenny B snuggles.
Yeah, I've had a great time. I tell you what, it's, it's beyond expectations. I wasn't sure
what to expect. So I guess because I wasn't sure what to expect, it was easy for it to be beyond
expectations. But a crazy fun time and yeah, now I'm ready to get home. What's up everybody?
Kimberly Thompson, Evelyn. Thank you Abby. Yeah, I hope, I hope the micro content, the mini content
I've been putting up has been entertaining. I've been just trying to grab snippets of what I thought
was interesting and share it with you. I have a lot of footage. I filled up my hard drive and
I had to start using my backup hard drive for the regular hard drive. So I got some footage
out there that I don't have in duplicate, which for me is a little nerve-wracking. But
I don't think I'll lose any of it. I can't wait to show it, show it to you guys.
I finally got our passport back yesterday. That was interesting to go the whole cruise without
the passport, but I have it now. And for the first time ever, I'm not self-assisting and so I put my
luggage out in front of the door, which was a new experience. And I'm taking a transfer that we
purchased from the cruise line. So they're providing a shuttle to the airport. So my luggage will
meet me at the airport, which is kind of cool. Yeah, Jeff G. No snuggles with Don. We don't have
that kind of relationship. He's a good guy and all, but I prefer my snuggles with Jenny B.
Thank you, Donna. Yeah, I'm hoping the flight, at least now I have a kind of idea of what the
flight process is like. So Roland Lees, I would definitely do it again. You know, I have this
10-year visa, but Asia is really cool. I mean, I wouldn't mind coming back to Japan for,
you know, and doing a little bit of land-based and that kind of thing. So Anne, I'm making a
video because a lot of questions about the food. Is there enough food to eat? So I actually,
it was a little bit of a struggle. I filmed the buffet yesterday at breakfast and then I went
back at lunch and I filmed it at dinner. And so hopefully it will give you guys a good sense of
what the buffet was like. I know that everybody's curious as to what the buffet on an Asian cruise
is like. And so there are some buffet incidents. I'll let you guys spot them for yourself. I'm not
going to call them out per se, but yeah, watch that dinner time part, the last part of the video.
You're going to see some buffet incidents. That's right, Mr. and Mr. Cruise Vlogs. I'm old,
man. I can't see. It is that cruise life. I am going to get that reverse jet lag.
Fortunately, I don't have to do anything. So if I wake up in the middle of the night at home,
I can just work, you know. How many hours of footage? I don't know. At least,
so I shot with three cameras and the two main cameras I shot with, I feel like I got about
a hundred gig of footage a day. I was shooting in 4K on the Osmo Pocket, so I don't know how
many hours. It feels like a lot. A lot of walking though. It's been, I tell you what, yesterday I
just tried to film. I did a walking video that I didn't get to edit, so I walked like two miles
that way. So I had another 22,000 step day yesterday, which was crazy, and my feet are
feeling it. And then I went to sleep about midnight and woke up at four, so hopefully
I'm going to be sufficiently tired to fall asleep on the cruise ship. Yeah, David Brady,
it's a lot of footage. So one of my little vlog techniques, though, is I always try to shoot for
the edit so I don't have to look through too much stuff. So I have a lot of short clips,
so it's kind of easier for me that way. I don't have to scrub through a lot, and I kind of know
where the story is going to go. But on some of these things, I did just turn the camera on and
walk. I'll have to scrub through that stuff. It's not too bad. That's the secret to
to getting it out quick is shoot for the edit and shoot short clips.
Thank you, Debra. Yeah, I'm looking forward to getting on the plane and heading home. So
we meet at 8 30 at this place called the Music Hall, which is the club here that we went to.
Almost every excursion, we left out of this place called the Music Hall, which is a two-story
venue on the ship, which is really cool. And so I'm looking forward to... We meet there at 8 30.
I am a little tired, Jules. It's been a long, weird time change, 14, 13 days. So we meet there
at 8 30, and then we're supposed to be off the ship by 8 45. I don't know what the customs process
is. I don't really have anything to declare. You have to fill out paperwork to leave the country
and all that, so hopefully customs won't take too long. But I anticipate we'll be at the airport by
10 or 11, and then my flight's at 5. So we've got some chilling to do at the airport. I saved some
Chinese RMB, some yuan, so I can get some stuff at the airport. So I don't know if I'm gonna eat
breakfast here. That's been a big discussion, but I don't know what they have at the airport. So
if I don't eat before... I'm not super hungry, but if I don't eat before I leave, then I probably
won't eat till 5 or 6 tonight. I don't know that Jenny would like a girls cruise. She missed me
terribly, but she might. I've missed Jenny talking to me on this side. Yeah, a couple times I couldn't
raise Jenny. I think they were having a party. I called the neighbors. Yeah, you can leave China
with their currency and exchange it. Hopefully there's a... what I'm hoping is to find an exchange
booth, because I have Japanese yen and I have Chinese RMB, and so my hope is to go to the
airport, use whatever Chinese money I need to use, and then find an exchange booth and do that.
I think the flight from here to Dallas is 13 hours, and then the flight from Dallas home's like
two hours. So yeah, it's another 20-hour day coming up. Yeah, Roy, I think I saw some
exchange booths there, so I should be able to to get everything converted today, not have to deal
with it. Not have to deal with it. Let me show the show the port a little bit. What's up, Ty?
Which cruise is my favorite so far? This one's hard to compare to other ones. I really enjoy
that one. What's up, High Voltage? Oasis is still my favorite cruise ship, though. I gotta go on
another Oasis class. Here's the look at the port for people that just joined. I will try to
steady my phone with my hands. Excuse my finger losing the internet. Well, I'm gonna go back to
the seat because the internet was rock solid, but when I came to the rail here, I lost it a couple
times, so I don't want to lose you guys. Give you a quick look in the cabin, show you the only
thing I got left are these two backpacks. Look, this is evidence I did a little L&P last night,
a little late night pizza to finish it off. But yeah, it's all over but the crying, folks.
Got everything emptied out. All over but the crying. Anybody else like an old man and whenever
you sit down, you have to make that noise? Oh, my legs are like that. Yeah, Judith, I don't have to
meet until 8 30 to get off the ship. I just woke up early, worked on some videos. I couldn't sleep.
I'm just ready to go, so got a little bit of time. Probably stay on here for another 10 minutes and
then maybe go see if there's breakfast and then go to the meeting spot. Yeah, I make the weirdest
noises like, ooh, ooh. Sometimes I listen to the videos where I'm walking and you just hear me go,
ooh. It's like, what is that? Ooh. Was the food better or worse than sailing from the U.S. ship?
I feel like it's about the same. To me, cruise food is very similar. They had a bunch of different
selections. Wait till you see the buffet video, but there was no lack of food. I could have eaten
as much or more on this cruise as any other cruise I've ever been on. Thank you, Scott Brooks, for the
super chat. Appreciate it, buddy. That's right. Jenny B, is it 18 days until we go to Galveston?
I'm looking forward to that. I did meet a couple crew members that have worked in Galveston.
The crew members are very royal loyal and they're like, you're going to Galveston,
which ship? And I tell them, they're like, oh, that's not a royal ship. I'm like, don't be mad.
I've got to try another cruise line. So loud here, right? That's that port life.
Offloading, unloading. Very interesting. Man, I can't wait to share with you guys. I went to a
talk yesterday that the captain gave and there was some interesting conversation about the
decision to sail away from the typhoon. And it turns out we basically sailed through the typhoon.
Fortunately, it was only like a hurricane. What do they call it? The level. It was just a level
one hurricane. So the ship was more than equipped for it. But it was it was interesting how they
made that decision. Can you guys hear without with this noise? Should I go inside? Somebody
tell me. Can you still hear me okay? Or is it noisy? I'll stop talking. Okay. It sounds like
they're giving up the noise. Good deal. But yeah, so I'm looking forward to getting back on the
regular time zone. So when I went to Japan, it went forward an hour, we gained that hour back.
And then now in a one day's time span, I'm going to gain half a day back. So my flight leaves
Shanghai at 5pm. And it lands in Dallas at 5.10pm on the same day. So in that flight, I will the
flights only 10 minutes overall, because I'm getting the 12 hours back, which is kind of will
be wild. It's gonna be wild. That's kind of funny. I don't know if I talked about the first night I
got to Shanghai. I went to sleep like at nine o'clock. And I woke up at 12am. And I was up the
whole day. And I think I ended up waking up dawn and we were up like from one or two o'clock in
the morning until we passed out like at three in the afternoon. Such a weird. It's a weird thing
that time change. Yeah, if it only took 10 minutes, that would be nice. Yeah, it's kind of funny. So
like, trains are a big thing in Japan. And they've been working on different iterations of the bullet
train. And the goal is to go from like Osaka, which is the second largest city to Yokohama,
where Tokyo is kind of the port area of Tokyo. And they had the bullet train they have now I
think can make the trip, which is a long trip can make the trip in like five hours, but they're
working on new technology. And they can make the trip in three hours. And our tour guide was so
giddy about the fact that you would be able to get from Osaka to Yokohama in three hours. So
the transportation was super cool in Japan, very much a train culture. Our tour guide, she didn't
she didn't own a car because it costs more, almost more than her condo payment to rent a little space
to park her car. And I think she even pays like $200 a month to park her bike. So she has like a
bike parking spot. And it costs her 200 bucks a month just to have a bike in Tokyo, which is
pretty wild. Pretty wild. Yeah, it's been an interesting trip. A lot of just just recognizing
the differences. And that that really is the cool thing to when I see a casino, I didn't gamble.
I lost zero. I didn't gamble at all in the cruise. No craps table. And I'm never really
motivated to gamble unless Jenny's with me. She's a bad influence that way. But yeah, it's it's
amazing just leaving the country a little bit. I highly recommend it because you definitely get a
whole new perspective on on what you got going on in your situation. In your situation. Wow,
this balcony is I don't think I've ever just sat with my feet propped up like this. I should have
done this earlier. Look at this. This is this is my this is my current sitch. My current situation.
I should have felt busy the whole time. Well, that's not good. I hope if I hope the typhoon
doesn't hit Japan hard that that would be devastating. No testing the fates. No hot dice.
And I do like a craps game. I didn't get to do it. Jenny, when I get home, could you have me a
little balcony set up like this so I can just sit chill out? My knees pretty good. It's it's bruised
from falling down on the first day in Tokyo and then just walking. It's not really help. But
I'm going to be fine when I get home and have a place to chill.
What's up, Grasshopper? David Pascoe. Yeah, the Vista is coming. I'm excited. I'm so excited to
meet people. This is a really interesting cruise. The culture here is that you don't make a lot of
friends. And so it was it was a little isolating, which was interesting. Don and I hung out a good
amount of time, but we both had stuff to do. And so there were times where you were alone and it
was really it was really interesting, a little isolating for sure.
See, Eddie, that's OK. Some some of us, some of us. Sorry, it's gone by quick.
There's no being late. We're just waiting to get off the cruise ship.
They're kicking me off. It's disembarkation day. Do you guys say disembark, debark?
I don't know. See, look, I just moved my knee. Do you hear that noise?
Old man. What's up, Amanda? We almost played air hockey, but the well, there was some
competitions. Look, it's going to be no surprise who won, but we competed at ping pong. We competed
at ski ball and we almost played air hockey, but the table was broken. What's up, Tamara?
Welcome to the loca fam. Well, it's going quick, guys. Sorry if I don't see your comment.
Cruises should be all year long. I agree with you there. Yes, I'm going to be glad to see Jenny.
She says she's got a special surprise for me. I think she bought me some special coffee.
The girl knows the way to my heart is through Java beans. Yeah, I mean, never say never like
this has been a fun adventure with Don. And if we got to go somewhere crazy that it's not a great
fit for Jenny, I possibly would go without her again. But I don't like it. I tell you that. But
I do like the adventure and I think you guys are going to enjoy the adventure, but
I don't like cruising without my lady for sure. The only thing is, though, I didn't have to pack
and unpack my computer all week. I had the desk all to myself. No makeup. Is it OK to say that,
honey, that I didn't have to battle the makeup? No makeup. I just was able to nerd out, had gear
everywhere, wires and cameras. It was good stuff. Jenny, whatty, where's my dinner? I do miss Jenny
saying whatty. I am flying home today. My flight's 5 p.m. It is I'm assuming it's like 720 or
something like that now, 715. All right, guys, we're going to give it a few more minutes. I think
I'm going to go see if there's anything for breakfast and just casually start making my way
to get off this cruise ship. It's so sad. I'm so sad. It's like a mixed feeling.
Even though I'm happy to go home and see Jenny, like there is a sadness associated with
leaving the cruise ship. I think there's a clinical definition for it. I think I read in
a book somewhere. It's called them cruise blues. I hope I got another cruise right around the
corner. If not, I'm gonna be so sad. What's your countdown? I think mine's 18 days. I know that
sounds not right. I don't know if this was the best plan or not. So we didn't cruise all summer
and now we got boom, boom, boom, boom. It's a lot. I mean, it's still cruising, but it's a lot.
Thanks for the safe travel. Best wishes, everybody. We appreciate it. Appreciate it.
Well, all right, guys, let me give you one more look at the port. Thanks so much for tracking
along all week. I tell you what, I've enjoyed the fact that I've had this internet and that I've
been able to talk to you guys and it's really helped me be less homesick to see all you guys'
positive comments and thanks for looking at all the content that put up over on the Facebook page
and Instagram and of course here on YouTube. I really do appreciate you guys. So much of the
cruising for me is not only what I'm doing, what Jenny's doing, but the fact that we kind of do it
in this broader community that we can share stuff with you that you guys find helpful and meaningful
and making these connections. So sincerely, thank you guys so much because without you
guys wouldn't be able to go on these crazy adventures and really, really, really appreciate
it. So here's a look at China. How about that? We're in freaking China, guys. It's unbelievable
on a lot of levels. So thank you guys so much. Much love. Appreciate you. I love you, Jenny.
I cannot wait to see you and kiss your face. You're the best girl. You're my best friend and
this trip's made me realize it more and more. So absence does make the heart grow fonder. So
again, much love to you guys. I'm going to get off here. This is Tony for La Lita Loca and
until the next time, we'll see you on the Lido. Probably see you at home. Bye, guys.
