Airstream Sovereign

Welcome to our kitchen! Doesn't look like much yet, sorry, but here's kind of what's gonna happen. So this is the fridge. It's a Novacool 12 volt, so it's never running on propane, which is nice. Just run off of our batteries all the time. Pretty good size. Got a fridge side and a freezer side. And then you can see we've got our solar panel wires and some of our internet antenna cables, and they're all coming down through here. The solar wires run into this junction box down here, and then those two big wires go out to the solar charge controller up in the front dinette. This was going to be our end, but it looks like that may not be now. We're contemplating a small trash can area, and then that's going to tie into a chase that covers this wall and covers all those wires down there so that you don't see them. More importantly, you don't actually touch that junction box, because it'll shut the snot out of you. So we'll have countertop across here. Big, we call it the drawer, because look at it. Huge drawer. Come out, it'll have separators in it. Then you've got a shelf above that, or below that, and then we're going to use the wheel well as a shelf, too, for some things. And we've got this. So we've actually got quite a bit of storage in this area right here. And then from about here back is going to go straight up, and that will be pantry storage. So this will all be cabinets. A lot of the wiring for my work area, which all, yeah, the work area. My work area is going to be right here. We'll have a monitor mounted to the wall, a keyboard thing that comes out, and they both come out at an angle. So I'll stand here, kind of work right in this area. So there's all kinds of internet things that need to be plugged and connected, so that'll kind of happen inside that cabinet. The two bottom doors here are going to open up and slide back so that our cabinets, or counter space, will actually be usable while we're sitting. And then when we need to move, we can put stuff in there and close it up and keep it tight. So lots of storage here, tons of storage. Then on this side, you can see we've got the stove here and the oven temporarily. The rest will be counter. We'll have our sink here, faucet. The furnace is down underneath. I made it a little tricky. We've got to get the water pump in there, and then all of the water lines and plumbing. So there's not going to be a ton of storage happening right here, unfortunately. But these will be drawers that we'll pull in and out. And then above this, we'll have a very small overhead storage area where a lot of this kind of stuff will go. We've got a radio that goes in there. The monitors for the solar panels and the batteries, and a few other odds and ends. So it won't be super useful storage-wise, but it'll look nice and we'll be able to put a few things up here. So that's it for the kitchen.
