Real Talk about COVID-19 Vaccines

HUD’s Delaware Field Office partnered with the Kent Coalition (Vaccines for the Black and Brown Communities) and the Delaware Racial Justice Collaborative to host a virtual Real Talk discussion on July 15, 2021. Three physicians addressed myths about the COVID-19 vaccines and the misinformation that is fueling hesitancy in communities. This 15-minute edited version of the recording highlights concerns raised by those who are on the fence about getting the vaccine, with hot topics ranging from the safety of the vaccines to common misconceptions. Although the virtual event was held for HUD-assisted families and individuals in Delaware, the physicians share important information that can help anyone.
