What's up, guys?
I have never done anything like, well, never mind, I take that back.
Like years ago, I've done something like this, but not any time recently.
Now, yesterday I ran out of my foundation.
This is what I've been using for the last five years, probably.
It's Lorac Pro.
I don't even know if I'm pronouncing that right.
Wait, Lorac Porfection.
You would think I would know the name by now.
I just know what it looks like.
So I know what to grab when I go to the store.
But recently I have not been loving this.
My face has been very dry, flash oily.
I don't know how that works, but I was like, maybe it's time to try something new.
So I went to Ulta yesterday
and picked up some foundation and a few other things.
I was going to be dramatic and like dump the bag, but I have powder in here
and I don't want to break anything.
So, OK, we'll just go through everything.
Everything that I picked out.
This is all new stuff, new stuff I've never used besides one thing.
I was also out of my Anastasia, however you want to say it, dip brow.
I have used this forever.
This is how I do my eyebrows.
Now I was OK.
There are like 3000 little eyebrow hairs in there.
And so it's kind of getting grossed out.
So I got a new one of those.
This is the new foundation I wanted to try.
It's the Tarte Shape Tape.
And I got the color light sand.
I am very pasty.
And if I get tan this summer, then I will just mix it up
with a little bit of a darker foundation because you can do that.
But that way, you're not having to go buy a whole new foundation.
Every time I like to have a dark one that's like super dark
that I can mix with my lighter foundation.
So we are going to try this out and see how you like it.
The other thing I did, I've always applied my foundation with a brush
and I am going to try for the first time a beauty blender.
I might be like so far behind the game, but OK, let's see how I.
How do you take this?
Oh, it's a twist.
OK. All right, guys, we're going to know what I'm doing.
Let's see. Oh, OK. It's like a.
Whoa, that's nifty.
I'm just going to use.
Well, let's see. I got my mirror right here.
OK, I don't want to put like too much on.
There's a first time for everything, right?
All right. So I just dab, dab.
Am I doing it right?
We'll see. All right.
I kind of like it. I think I like it.
It's different.
And of course, I have a big, huge zit on my face today.
Like three of them showed up in the night.
I don't know if it's the foundation.
I don't know. I don't know, guys.
What do you think?
I mean, it matches my skin. That's for sure.
Let's just keep going and see if we like it.
OK, OK, OK.
Maybe I'm applying too much or maybe I'm not playing enough.
I'm used to my little squirt.
That that my little rack one like squirts out.
So I don't know.
I always have used full coverage, like no matter what.
I've never been into like BB creams, but maybe I should.
Maybe I should try them because lately I'm either wearing nothing
or like everything.
And so I feel like maybe a BB cream would be good
because then it's like days that I don't want full coverage.
I don't know.
I better like this because it was like 40 something dollars, you know?
So that's why I'm always nervous to switch foundations
because I'm like, gosh, they cost so much money.
And if you don't like them,
then you're just out 40 bucks or 50 bucks or 100 bucks
or however many bucks they cost.
OK, I don't know if I'm liking the Beauty Blender.
Maybe that's what it is.
I'm going to try.
Maybe you guys can't see, but like in my mirror,
it's looking a little bit weird.
I'm going to try with my brush.
Oh, yeah, it's covering way different with a brush.
OK, guys, is there like a trick to the Beauty Blender?
I got it very lightly damp, but I feel like it just absorbed
all my makeup or something
because this is covering a lot better now.
Maybe it just takes some getting used to because I swear people swear by those.
All right. I look like a ghost in there.
A freaking ghost.
OK, now that I got my foundation on,
we'll see once I have like everything on how I like it.
I really, really, really better like it.
OK, well, shoot.
How do I get this stupid thing out of the box?
I'm going to break it now.
But you know what?
OK, because I'm on my way to another appointment right now.
But still, I don't understand the childproofness of makeup.
Why? Why?
Oh, my gosh, you're going to think a cat opened it.
Here we go. Oh, my goodness.
It's literally been probably a whole year, maybe longer
since I've seen this and I'm still rocking my original.
I've never bought another one.
This is usually the next step that I do my brows.
Usually, though, what I'll do is
especially when it's like brand new because it's like super dark.
I feel like when it gets old, you can kind of like,
I don't know the texture or something changes about it.
So it's easier to work with.
But this you will find do not stick it all the way in.
You will have pitch black eyebrows.
So if you are a beginner, start with like dabbing it on a paper
towel or toilet paper or something to get the majority of it off
and then start penciling it in.
Once I get like my arch done, then I use like it very lightly
and I do like brush strokes like this straight up and down.
I just don't like it to be like super dark.
You can kind of see it's like faded right there.
Ombre brows.
It will I will get it a little bit darker.
It's kind of like a red right now.
Oh, by the way, this is the color chocolate.
I don't think I mentioned that.
All right. They're done.
They look crazy when I don't have anything else on.
But I will also say, remember that your brows are sisters.
They are not identical twins.
So you do not need to worry about them always looking exactly the same.
OK, OK. I got this new palette.
The colors look nice.
I am not into like crazy colors.
So I always grab the ones that are like the most neutral.
I don't even know what brand it is.
Maybe it's called Revolution. Is that the brand?
I don't know. I am not a beauty guru.
More plastic. Oh, I get it out of the plastic.
Open the box and there's more plastic inside.
OK. Oh, yeah, those are pretty.
I take this brush.
I'm back to 42.
Usually I'll do it darker.
Like if I'm going like all makeup, I'll do a darker color on the lid
with the same kind of shade lighter up here.
This pink one right here.
And we are going to do our lid.
Oh, that's freaking dark.
Oh, that's real pigmented.
I'm used to my other one that I have to literally dip
my brush in like 5000 times before it picks up any color.
And this is this is good.
You know, it'd be easier.
Or I could use this mirror that's right here.
Yeah, that's a little bit easier.
Then I'll take a blender brush.
This is the Sigma.
The name is off.
I think it's a Sigma brush, but it's the blending E25.
We're going to try this color right above.
Do not judge my technique because I don't have any.
OK, this is just for fun.
Yeah, I like it, though. I like it.
All right. Now I usually do my eyeshadow
before I start doing like my contouring and my highlighting
because I get crumbs that fall down.
And so I'm going to kind of just brush those off.
You know, there's a few crumbs now contouring.
Usually I use this crayon.
OK, it's the L'Oreal True Match, and it's the fair light color.
And that's what I'll do underneath here.
But I got a new one.
So we're going to try this.
This is, again, the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer.
And this is in the color Fair.
I like to get like the lightest color for this.
It's pretty white, but I'm looking pretty white.
So hopefully you can even see this.
Yeah, you can see that for sure.
So these are the few places I like to highlight.
I like it.
I do, I do, I do, I do.
I will say, though, my crayon is a lot cheaper,
but we'll see how this holds up.
One thing I don't like about the crayon is I feel like
throughout the day, like I get really big lines under my eyes.
Like I'm constantly like every few hours going like this
and like getting makeup off because it creases really bad.
So I don't know if this will do that, but I'll let you know.
I probably got way too much.
All right.
We're going to need some contouring ASAP.
Look at me. I look like a ghost.
OK, I'm just using my crayon.
I had to get another one, but this is the L'Oreal True Match
in the chocolate color.
No, medium deep.
I don't know where I pulled chocolate out of.
Enough with the plastic.
You know, I should have done.
I should have removed all this before I got started.
That would have been a smart thing to do.
Here we go.
This is like the KKW cream contour,
but I've always been using this since before KKW was a thing.
OK, I'm liking the blender for this, though, for the contouring.
A little tanner, a little more alive.
Oh, OK.
Yeah, I do like that.
That's looking nice.
All right. Then on to the highlight.
This is Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter.
I am not one to use a highlighter very often, but today I'm going to.
And then this is the blush I've used forever.
It's not focusing. Infrared.
I use barely.
I just smile on my apples and my cheeks.
Next thing is whatever color I did like this,
like the lighter color up there, I usually go under my eyes with as well.
I mean, super easy, just like one swipe and you're done.
It is definitely time for an eyelash fill,
but my eyelash girl is not in Utah right now.
She is in Hawaii.
So I'm going to have to go with the few I got hanging on.
Usually at this point, when I'm in desperate need of a lash fill,
I'll probably add some mascara on.
Just don't tell anyone.
But I used to do lashes.
And so I totally get it, guys.
I get it. I get it.
So with that being said, my favorite mascara is the L'Oreal Telescopic.
Now, my favorite eyeliner of all the time is this NYX Vinyl Liquid Liner.
But I swear I cannot find it.
Anytime I go to any store that carries it.
But this is my favorite.
I did find this NYX eyeliner that it says, that's the point.
It's basically like I feel like I'm using a felt pen.
Kind of weird, but I kind of like it at the same time.
So I'm going to do a little a little tiny cat eye.
You just kind of like shake it up.
I think that's what you're supposed to do.
So one thing I used to always use that I don't even know the brand,
but it's the pink and green mascara.
And I always, always, always, always, always, always, always had black lines
under my eyes like it just rubbed everywhere.
And it's just like the mascara I grew up using and my mom used it.
And so I just like I never knew there was anything better out there.
I never even tried anything.
And then once I did, I was like, you got to be kidding me.
All these years getting black smears
all over my face, and there was something out there that did not do that.
All right.
And then to finish off this look,
typically I use Maybelline like the matte colored lipsticks.
This one is one I've been using lately.
The Naked Coral.
It's no, no, 555.
That one's one of my favorites.
Also, the Clay Crush 656, basically any of the mattes
if they have like the purple lid, I like them.
But today I'm going to switch it up.
And I got this NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream.
What color is this?
I don't know how to say this.
Toulouse, this color.
All right.
It's like a matte lip gloss.
What? Uh-huh.
I love it.
I think I like this better than my lipsticks.
It's like lipstick in a gloss.
What? That's a good color.
I like it with the color eyeshadow I chose.
That's kind of nice.
OK, and then I also got the lip liner, and I'm not going to repeat it.
Just basically find the lip liner that's next to it.
I have very lopsided lips, so I try to do the best I can.
Typically, when I'm not like talking to you guys,
this takes me literally five minutes, but it's taking a little longer today.
OK. Rommel London Stay Matte in the color Transparent.
This is how I set my makeup every day, all the days.
I've never tried anything different, but I really like this.
So like any like oily spots or shiny spots.
Go matte right now.
And this is transparent, like I said, so you can put it basically anywhere.
And it's just going to make it nice and flat color.
So when I'm like on the go, this is what I take with me everywhere I go.
I take this with this big old fluffy brush
because anytime I start to feel oily, I literally just,
you know, dab, dab, just dab.
And then the oil goes away.
So I take this with me and then also whatever lipstick I'm wearing.
So this one and this lip liner.
And then I'll usually also take a concealer
with me in case like a zit comes out to say hello and I need to cover it.
So that's like all I take with me when I leave the house.
Everything else stays.
But really, we'll see how this foundation holds up.
Typically with the foundation I normally use,
I can go all day without adding any foundation at all.
This one, obviously, I've loved it for five years.
This is definitely a good brand and a good one to use.
I use the PR six.
That's the color that I normally use.
This one's a little bit darker.
Like I look kind of white compared to how compared to this color.
I look a little bit lighter, but I think I probably match my skin better.
I probably been getting too dark of a foundation all these years.
This was a little bit of a random video, but thank you guys so much for watching.
And if you'd like to see more like hauls or makeup stuff, let me know.
And I would love to get more videos out for you guys.
Thanks for watching. Bye.
