Exploring the Waterfalls in Oregon // CtW S1:E12

The waterfalls in Oregon are one of many reasons to enjoy the state. From the hidden gem of Toketee Falls to the numerous waterfalls of Silver Falls State Park, Oregon abounds in stunning waterfalls and should be explored with any amount of time.
In this episode we explore Oregon from the eastern boundary with Idaho to the northern city of Portland. Our primary goal was to explore the many waterfalls we knew that we could find along the way. With the spring rainfall abundant, the rivers were full of water set to put on a spectacular display.
We visit Toketee Falls in Umqua National Forest first. In an attempt to gain access to the best views we snuck a little off the beaten path, rappelling around fifty feet and hiking to the base of the falls. We also found our way to Silver Falls State Park to recreate a photo that Lindsay took over ten years before when visiting the area with her father and uncle.
