What's up guys? I'm Andrew Grandy. I'm an infielder at Christ School and I'm
committed to play basketball at Rice University next year.
Here's what's in my bag. Let's see. Where should we start? Let's start in
the helmet. Let's do it. Big Adidas
batting gloves guy. I like them to be super thin
just because you feel the bat a little bit more.
They don't rip too easy when you slide because I don't take them off when I run
the bases so I keep them on. These are definitely my favorite and
white goes with everything. Pine tar. You know you just gotta have it.
It's always a necessity. Pro hitter.
I used to not do this. I used to not use this at all but
once you start facing the higher velocity it definitely helps save your
thumbs a little bit. I wear it in BP too just to protect
your thumb a little bit more. Helmet. Christ School helmet.
Rawlings. Definitely my favorite. They fit the best. They're the lightest
and to me I just I just think they're the best helmets you can get at our
EvoShield.
Got a first baseman's mitt in here. Don't really use this that much to be
honest but you might need it.
Here's the Gamer Wilson A2000. She needs to be oiled up a little bit. I
like it because there's no padding so you can kind of feel feel your hand
a little bit more and feel the ball on your glove which I like a lot.
I used to use the Dustin Pedroia model specifically because it had no padding
and I like that the best. EvoShield. Gotta have it. Can't break that
elbow out there and it's like plus 10 cool points at least.
Shin guard. Definitely this is a I've always been
wearing one but I've just started wearing the toe piece this year.
Hit one off the foot last fall in Jupiter
and it was like I definitely need to start wearing the toe piece.
If you're wearing EvoShield with no toe piece you're doing it wrong.
J Bands. I did a driveline program this offseason. I've been tapering it
down a little bit during the season
but just use these before games and practices just to get some good
activation and start to get loose some. Let's see we got we got two driveline
balls in here. Not the full set but I'll do some
reverse throws and some walk-ins and stuff like that with these.
I do it more so now in season just on like active recovery days and active
throwing days stuff like that just to get the arm moving a little bit
and some days I'll do these without even throwing a baseball.
And then another pro hitter. Pretty easy to lose so you always gotta have two.
And then arm sleeve. Don't wear this too much just because it's pretty tight but
if it gets cold or sore or whatever I'll throw it on there.
Just good to have just in case. And then last thing here is
gotta have a pearl. Gotta have a pearl to play catch with.
I'm kind of weird about the balls that I throw with so
I always keep one keep one on my glove just to play catch with before games
stuff like that. A wood bat. I've been swinging a bomb bat.
I swing it this summer for exposure just because I feel like I wouldn't say
they have any extra pop but they just don't break and buying wood bats can be
a little bit expensive. Then here's the
high school gamer. I started swinging this bat
sophomore year. It's the Louisville Prime 918.
I wouldn't say it has the most pop but for me
I like it because I don't like unloaded bats at all. I like them to feel a
bit lighter and to me this feels lighter even though
I think it is actually still unloaded. But it works for me and
I like it and I swing a 34. 34 drop three and I
it gets the job done for sure. That's it. What's up guys? I'm Hype and I had to
