We hire a Tuk Tuk for the day to take us on a tour of Historic Udong Cambodia that was the royal capital of old. It's a death defying ride (no joke) as our "driver and guide" is neither of those things but we make it Udong unscathed and climb the 500+ steps to the temple at the top. It's an easy climb to the top of Udong. Along the way we see shrines and swimming monkeys. The views are simply breathtaking! We wander around the trails and paths through Cambodia's ancient capital before visiting the market at the base. When we finally tire of wandering the ancient streets, we return to Phnom Penh, passing several beautiful Mosques enroute. With our time in this part of Cambodia at an end we hop on a Giant Ibis bus to Siem Reap Cambodia where we explore Psar Cha Market, wander the sreets, discover and amazing Parisian Bakery, sample the local street food, and hit the streets for a once in a lifetime New Years Eve celebration on Cambodia's premier night life location, Siem Reap's Pub Street! The fireworks over and around the city are truly impressive by their shear volume!

We are back in the tuk-tuk and we are headed for Udon, an old city that used to be the capital.
Listen, listen.
Again with the stairs. We're at Udon, getting ready to walk up 500 and some stairs to the top.
We've gathered an audience.
Got little swimming monkeys over there.
The white steps. There's no shoes and no hats.
We're wandering around these trails up here. Some new, some old, some really old.
All sorts of little shrines and temples. It's just really neat.
Down at the base of the temples there's a great little market and a house.
We are in Siem Reap.
Home of Angkor Wat. A lot more Westerners here than any place else we've been in Cambodia.
We have been stuck in the room for the last day and a half after getting some dodgy food at the restaurant at our hostel that was supposed to be good.
It's kind of funny because we eat street food everywhere and never get sick.
So that was kind of special on their part.
We're checking out the Sarchaw market in Siem Reap.
I really enjoy getting into the grungy inner city markets and just seeing what's up.
But I gotta say, I really like this market.
It's the cleanest market we have been to in Cambodia, hands down.
This is fantastic. I'm at Paris Bakery.
The bread is wonderful.
Yum bowl.
Just wait until you see this place tonight.
Every country in the world I get a GoDucks.
Now that is a good afternoon.
Always an adventure crossing the street in Cambodia.
And it's still early.
Thank you.
I wasn't so sure, but all these are fantastic.
These are even better tasting than they look.
You want something from the bug cart?
I just had an amazing Indian meal, so no.
What about the ice cream?
That ice cream was good too, but I'm full.
We'll do bugs in Bangkok.
Yeah.
