Back in the beautiful land Down Under...Australia! Our last trip to Darwin got cut a little shorter than we planned so this time we're renting a vehicle and getting out and about to explore the amazing Northern Territory of Australia. We start off at the Nightcliff Sunday Market just north of Darwin. Later we drive well north of Darwin to Lee Point and Buffalo Creek where I nearly step on a box jellyfish (the REALLY deadly ones..yikes!) before heading to do a little Valentines Day shopping for the lovely Kate. After dining at Dominos Pizza (which has amazingly good milkshakes in Australia) we drive south and west of Darwin to Waygit Beach and the surrounding areas before we get flooded out by a massive electrical storm. We're back in Australia,
this time in the beautiful Northern Territory
at the Nightcliff Sunday Market.

I am eating a meat pie.
These things are very addicting.
And for me, gluten-free buckwheat crepes.
Nutella, bacon, egg, and cheese.
Love this part.
It's so gorgeous up here.
You said I just had to sit there and smile.

Every place we go in Australia is beautiful, amazing.
Wow.
Everywhere.
I love this country.
We are just hanging out here,
walking through the park,
and watching these beautiful black cockatoos
have their breakfast.
No, no, no.
Not gonna happen.
Unfortunately, no swimming here because of box jellyfish,
but I just had to dip my feet in the Timor Sea.
There is a box jellyfish.
I'll put my shoes back on now.

We made it up to the Wagat Beach shop.
Good thing we found this place
because it's the only gas and the only food for a long ways.
Boy, if you thought middle-of-nowhere
Aussie gas station food was gonna be skimpy,
you were wrong.
