AUSTRALIA \\ LIFE ON A RANCH (CATTLE STATION) IN THE MACEDON RANGES // VLOG #44

Kate has been dreaming about getting back to her roots being raised on a working cattle ranch, so she (which translates to "we") jumped at the chance to spend a week on a cattle ranch (or what the Aussie's call a "Cattle Station") in the amazing Macedon Ranges about an hour north of metropolitan Melbourne. Our hosts quickly became close friends and we'll be forever grateful for their hospitality and for welcoming us into their family. From gathering eggs, to mending fences, to reforesting portions of the range, this rates as one of our favorite experiences yet. Watching wild kangaroos hop across the hillsides surrounding us notched itself in our memories as an iconic and unforgettable experience that we'll treasure forever.
