For the final leg our of New Zealand journey we explore Invercargill in the far south then move over to explore beautiful Dunedin (pronounced "Dun-ee-din"). We discover amazing Omaru, the home of Steampunk HQ which is an experience all its own! We finish up exploring Christchurch then take our very first flight with Emirates on an enormous A380 which is just awesome!

We're doing the loop track in Invercargill at the far south point of the South Island.
Beautiful day. It was a little crappy yesterday so we have a beautiful day for hiking today.
Queen's Park in Invercargill is definitely a winner.
So we did pretty good with our hotel here in Dunedin.
The Highland House Boutique Hotel. This place is awesome. The staff is super friendly.
We're wandering around gorgeous Dunedin. It's a college town. They've got a couple
universities here so really neat vibe. Lots of cool old buildings. It's that time again.
These guys are awesome. We are stopping in Omaru at the Steampunk headquarters.
What tune was that? Can you play Chopsticks? Play Chopsticks.
Bravo. Bravo. Push the red button.
Rhiannon looks for the mothership. Take me home.
Apparently Omaru is the home of Steampunk because it is the best preserved Victorian
city in all of New Zealand. This will allow us to be the judge of that. The coffee is pretty
darn good. So is the flourless chocolate. Christchurch. We have been doing good with hotels.
We got a full two-bedroom apartment this time for the price of a little hotel.
We're wandering around Christchurch. There's a lot of reconstruction from the horrible earthquake
they had here I think last year. The city's beautiful but there's definitely a lot of
reconstruction underway. Pretty city. It's a little windy but hopefully this turns out.
It's time for us to bid farewell to Rhiannon and farewell to New Zealand. Rhiannon's heading
off to India where it's warm and we're also heading somewhere warm. So what was your favorite part of
the New Zealand trek? Mount Taranaki. It was beautiful. Just this singular formation in the
flatland and then the goblin forest underneath it. Fantastic. That's pretty cool. I would have
to say the Hobbit village and then also the Kia's parrots. They were amazing. Strong choices. Mine
was the Milford Sound. That whole experience was awesome but I don't really think that anything
wasn't great here. We had an amazing trip. Now it's time to go get some rest.
Have a good trip here. I'll see you guys later. Bye.
First Emirates A380. Whoa it's huge. Hello. Thank you.
It's a big plane. Hello. Thank you. Take the thumbs up and subscribe.
