Back in lovely Singapore once more. Immigration and customs is always a breeze in Singapore, so efficient and effective! Instead of travel with a tourist pass, this time we use a pre-paid value card (NETS Flash Pay) though the EZ-Link card is just as easy. We load up our cards with $10 when we arrive in Singapore at the ticket counter in the train stop at Changi Airport which lasts us our whole 5 day visit. This trip to Singapore we stay in the Balestier area and eat every meal in a Hawker Center. The Whampoa Hawker Centre is alongside our hotel and we take a trip to the Newtown Hawker Centre to get Kate's favorite Nasi Lemak in the world. While enjoying the beauty of Singapore we also take advantage of the amazing infrastructure and commercial offerings to watch several movies in the Shaw Cinemas Lido which is truly world class. Char Siew, Nasi Lemak, Chicken Rice, Pork Rice, and many other dishes are featured and we even find time to wander the beautiful areas around Ballestier.

Well, after a couple weeks of non-stop rain during the dry season
and then a couple of little volcanic eruptions, we got out of Bali.
Bali was amazing, but it was time to head out to Singapore.
We found a line over here at the Wampoa Hawker Center,
so we're going to try this because wherever there's a line, there's good food.
We found the longest line we could find and it was for Chinese carrot cake.
One white, one black.
Very moist, hot as Hades.
This one's very sweet.
This time in Singapore, we're staying on Balestier Road.
Pretty residential area, really nice.
We've got a great hawker center behind us, the Wampoa,
so that's where we're getting pretty much all of our food while we're here.
It's awesome.
Really good.
Sites in Singapore are super easy to use.
You just get either an EasyLink card or a Netsplash Pay card.
About the same.
Look for the little sign.
Tells you your route.
We're taking the 124.
Look on the front of the bus.
There's our 124.
That's the Netsplash Pay card.
When you get off the bus, make sure to tap card again.
While we're in Singapore, we're catching a bunch of movies at these awesome theaters.
The Shaw, Cinema, Lido.
They got IMAX and everything here.
It's so much fun.
We just saw Ant-Man.
My favorite part is Seagulls.
Singapore is cool.
Look at that.
Durian Fiesta.
They love their durian.
I'm a fan too.
Just wandering around and what do you know?
We popped up at the New Town Hawker Center for some food.
I'm getting right there.
It's like four dollars.
Fantastic.
This is where Kate's favorite meal is from.
The Nasi Lemak House.
That's the chef.
I found my favorite meal.
And it has little crunchy fishies.
And these are the best.
I've had them in other places, but nothing compares to these.
They're crunchy, good, and wonderful.
Like you.
Lemon and vitamin Coca-Cola.
It's disgusting.
It tastes like...
I don't even know.
It doesn't really even taste.
We're on a strategy again.
We found the two longest lines at the Hawker Center and we're trying one of each.
Have a good day.
We've got egg, pork belly, pig intestine, and pig skin chop.
Like rice noodles and pig broth and pieces of pig in there.
And then these are preserved vegetables.
Supposed to be the best noodle mian in all of Singapore.
It's called lo mein and it's a bowl of yumminess.
You can add a lot of things to it.
It's with noodles and then deep fried every type of meat you can imagine.
It's really good.
You gotta try it for three dollars.
This one was five dollars.
Eight Sing dollars which is like six U.S. dollars for all this food.
Score!
So this was good.
That was very good.
It was very good but need a few more of the condiments.
But when you see an entire stack of condiments
and you think that they're probably not going to like it
if you stick your nose in every single one of them.
You gotta take your chances.
We're staying on historical Balestier Road.
We're gonna go tour around and check out some of the sights.
This will cure flu, sore throat, headache, constipation, gum pain, nose bleeding,
heatiness, cough, over drinking.
Well it is warm.
You better watch out for heatiness.
Leave the thumbs up and subscribe!
No, that was good.
