Lake Eufaula Bassmaster Elite Series is sponsored by Top Fish and Deals. My title sponsor for this year sponsored this video. So basically what Top Fish and Deals does, they go all over the internet. The brands you already use, the stores you already shop at, whenever something goes on sale or clearance, Top Fish and Deals has it listed first and foremost as soon as it goes on sale and clearance and it's updated almost daily. So go save yourself some money, shop at Top Fish and Deals and they have new stuff every day. They do an Instagram giveaway so check that out too. Now let's go to Lake Eufaula and catch us some bass. Well the time has finally come. First day of the Bassmaster Elite Series on Lake Eufaula. My name is Kyle Welcher. I appreciate you clicking on this video. This is day one right here. Practiced for three days, had some bites deep, had some bites shallow. Gonna mix in both today and hopefully catch us something north of 20 pounds. So we're gonna try anything more than 15 and I won't be pissed. Anything 15 or less, I'm not gonna be too happy. So let's get out there, try to catch something. It took our quickly big bass honors and our forcefully welcome the Elite Series Kyle Welcher. Oh my god. Why did I set the hook on that? Dang dude. Ate it like a dang little one so I set the freaking five and a half pounder. Thank you lord. I'll take that. Let's bring up an Elite Series rookie, local angler Kyle Welcher. Picked you. I never, I don't even play fantasy fishing but Ronnie Moore sends me annoying texts and asks me to pick somebody and I said Kyle Welcher is the man to watch this week. Let's see what I know about bass. 20 pounds and three ounces. 20 pounds, three ounces and Kyle Welcher who's in the fifth place currently out of the top 10 at his first Bassmaster Elite Series event. He is living a charmed, charmed life here in his first year on the Bassmaster Elite Series. A brand new, a big bass, six pounds, even so a lady and uh sitting in fifth place with 20 pounds three ounces. Somebody told me that uh somebody heard my pick of you and they said no it's a shallow water guy. He won't hold it together. What do you say about that person who said that to me? Well I put in close to 100 hours of graphing here as far as these three days of practice and then pre-practice so. I don't think you're a shallow water guy. I wasn't today. I was waiting for my whole day out of the evening. I actually I caught in practice. Unbelievable. I caught the same exact fish off the same bush. I mean the same markings. I got it on video. It's unbelievable to catch it again today. Awesome to have you here. I'm going to tell you one thing. This dude is going to be a future star in this sport. I'm going to mark, if you haven't heard it yet, I'm saying it right now. This dude is a future star in this sport, but your time on the stage is done because the corona restrictions are going to move you along. We'll see you later.
