The Dolan Twins | House Tour 2019 | Inside Their Multi-Million Dollar House!

Ethan and Grayson Dolan, also famously known as the Dolan Twins, are only 19 years old at the time of this video. They rose to fame back in 2013 on Vine when it was still popular, and they had over 6 million followers on the platform. For years now the twins have been famous YouTubers, since earlier this year they surpassed 10 million subscribers on the platform, meaning they've earned the YouTube Diamond Play Button which not too many creators can say for themselves. They also have 4.7 million followers on Instagram at the moment. Ethan and Grayson make a variety of videos, but they're mainly comedy and vlog style. They do pranks, reactions, collabs with other YouTubers such as switching lives with Jeffree Star and more. Of course experiencing this much fame at such a young age can be overwhelming at times I'm sure, and a lot to keep up with since the twins are the ones creating their own content. Ethan and Grayson were regularly uploading one video a week on Tuesdays to their channel for the longest time, which was what their fans got used to. Recently they posted a video called It's Time to Move On where they chatted with Shane Dawson and revealed they would be taking a step back, and stopping weekly uploads at least for now. Not only were Ethan and Grayson experiencing a lot of burnout from creating content, they also had some personal things going on, including their dad sadly losing his battle with cancer at the beginning of the year. So although the Dolan twins are still going to be making videos, they needed to slow down for the sake of their mental health, but most of their fans seem to be happy for them and think it's the right move. But today we're not going to be focusing on all of this, instead we're going to be taking a look at the house the Dolan twins are currently living in, in Encino California. With all of the success Ethan and Grayson have experienced, they have earned an estimated net worth of 5 mil so far, enough to purchase a gorgeous home in the hills. We're going to look at where Ethan and Grayson Dolan call home, including the home they recently bought in Encino, and where they may have rented before that. Before we get into the Dolan twins' new house that they currently own, we'll look at their previous spot. Since the twins got signed, they had to move out to LA on their own from a very young age. Of course, Ethan and Grayson then shared an apartment together. The brothers were actually from a small town in New Jersey, so LA living was probably really different for them at first. Ethan said about their hometown, We're from a country town called Long Valley. There's a bunch of cows, barns, and everything around us. It's so country that if I wanted to go get eggs, I could just walk down the street to our local farm and get them. There's not much to do there. Ethan and Grayson did a tour back in 2016 of their LA apartment, which seemed like a typical space for the two boys to live. It may have been small, but most kids their age were still living at home with their parents, so I'm sure it was still cool. Today, Grayson and I plan to film an apartment tour video, but he's asleep right now, and I don't feel like waiting to film, so I'm just gonna start in my room. This place was a two-bed, two-bathroom apartment, and we can see that both Ethan and Grayson had their own space. For teen dudes, their bathrooms actually looked pretty clean, but I wonder if they just made them look like that for the vlog. And by the looks of it, Grayson got the bigger bathroom for sure. Of course, the boys had a kitchen and living room space, a balcony, and all of the usual features of an apartment. It seemed like the place was perfect for them at the time. In 2017, the twins went on Twitter saying they got kicked out of their apartment, so I'm guessing they had to move. Apparently they then rented a house in the area of Encino where they've now bought This rental house Ethan and Grayson were living at cost almost 9K a month according to the listing, but with their YouTube money that probably wasn't an issue. This home was over 3,000 square feet and had 3 beds and 4 baths. There was a lot of privacy, great views of the canyon, and even a separate studio which you already know the twins used for making their videos. In 2018, Ethan and Grayson made a house tour on their channel for this rental property. So if you were curious what 9K a month gets you, you can see most of it there. It's actually pretty similar in style to the house they bought, which we'll look at now. Although Ethan and Grayson were renting prior to this current house, I guess they figured it was time to invest in something long term, which is always a good move. Most 19 year olds are freshmen at college, eating takeout and living in a dorm, but not the Dolan twins. The brothers recently purchased the gorgeous home in Encino, California for over 2 mil. Located in the San Fernando Valley area of LA, Encino is a popular spot and most of the real estate is in the multi-million dollar ballpark here. The Dolan twins definitely have some famous neighbours who also call Encino home, including fellow YouTubers like Logan Paul. Like I mentioned, the house before this that they rented was in the same neighbourhood, so it probably led them to buying this one. The twins' house is over 3,000 square feet, 1 level, and has 3 beds and 4 baths. It sits on a lot that's about half an acre in size, and although it doesn't have a full garage outside, there's a carport for 2 cars and the driveway has a lot more parking space. It's a mid-century ranch style home that was built back in 1958. The last owner was a West Hollywood realtor and he flipped the home before selling it to the twins, so everything was renovated like new. There's hardwood floors all over, and a bunch of French doors and windows that let in a ton of light. Inside you have views to the pool and backyard, even from the kitchen, and outside you have great views of the hill and valley. The main living area's pretty open concept, and the living room, kitchen, and dining area are all one giant space. Since it's just been renovated, the kitchen has all new appliances and features as well. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all really nice, but I wonder which twin ended up with a master bedroom or how they decided that. Maybe it was Grayson since he had the larger room and bathroom in their old place too. Moving to the outside of the twins' home, there's a beautiful covered patio area for entertaining, and another uncovered seating area elsewhere on the property. Of course there's a big pool with an attached spa, which looks to me like it could even be the feature of the place. I think the pool is my favourite part for sure. The backyard of their place actually reminds me of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Not sure if you guys have seen that movie, but the pool totally looks the same. So besides Ethan and Grayson's new million dollar home in Encino, we know that the twins also revealed their warehouse back in 2017 in a vlog. The Dolan Twins created a space where they could film videos and have fun with it as well, so it's like their version of an office space. There's a foam pit, skateboarding ramps, and more. So since moving to LA around 2015 when Ethan and Grayson got signed to Awesomeness TV, the boys lived in a couple of spots that they rented. They had their starter apartment which they allegedly got kicked out of, and we know that they rented a 9K a month Encino home as well after that. Recently the Dolan Twins made an investment and decided to buy a home instead. Their new house is in the same neighborhood as the Encino spot they were renting and actually looks pretty similar. This time though they wanted to own, and spent over 2 million to start their real estate portfolio. By the looks of it, the house was a great purchase. What do you guys think of their new home?
