Well a new journey begins I'm already here at Madrid airport I have an hour left before boarding
And if you don't know what trip I'm on I made a video a few weeks ago explaining all the destinations I was going to visit
But anyway to not bore you I'm going to Beijing right now but I'm only going to make a stopover
But it's going to be really hard because I have a flight now that's about 11 hours to Beijing
I make a stop there I arrive around 4 in the morning from there
I will be there for 5 hours and then I will take a flight that takes me to Hong Kong which is where I will start my trip
I'll keep you posted on everything I visit from there
But anyway if you want to know all the destinations I'll leave you the video here at the top where I explained the entire trip
And that's where a 3-week journey begins I'm going alone on my own
Well maybe I can meet some people there I'll stay in hostels and such to try to meet people
And now for the trip I'm bringing all kinds of entertainment
I'll take the iPad full of movies and series Also I imagine there will be the plane's entertainment
I'm taking books I'm taking a crossword Well I'm taking everything
So I'll have fun bokeh or at least entertainment
So I'll go to the end of the line and tell you about it during the flight and when I get there how it went
In Beijing after almost 11 hours of flight it felt super long
It has been 10 hours and 45 minutes and it has felt like 10 hours and 47
I haven't rested much because on top of it being a daytime flight the crow isn't used to sleeping during those hours yet
We arrived here at 4 in the morning local time
So it's tough because now I have 5 hours of layover here until my flight to Hong Kong departs
And so well on the plane I've been entertaining myself with movies on the tablet and stuff
There was even a chat on the screen along with entertainment
There were a few philosophers talking in it The truth is very interesting
And nothing now I'm here at the airport leaving the gate we just disembarked from
I'm going to look for somewhere to spend the next few hours
I should have a VIP room in principle
So I hope to rest there or sleep for a few hours at least until the next flight
And I'll keep telling you as I find out more
I have already arrived at the airport's Beijing East VIP lounge
The truth is that it's really cool no one else
Right now well there are a few people but since it's 5 in the morning almost no one
So there's free food I'll have breakfast well I'll snack on something
I'll try to rest for a while because I have those 4 hours like that until the flight
And that's very very humid You can feel it a lot here
And nothing else I'm exhausted so nothing else I'll let you know about some news later
After a short nap in the room we go for the next flight which is already here
And this is for Hong Kong it's the last trip for now
So we can already start enjoying
Let me see if I can sleep because it's now 4 hours
I'm still quite tired and have a slight headache so I'll take this opportunity now
Well I've ended up with the same lousy spot as before
Center column middle
I'm already in Hong Kong it's been 4 hours and I've slept about 3 or so
So it's great I've been able to rest a lot
And now I have the strength to get through the rest of the day
And I could spend some time in the city which didn't want to spend the whole day resting
And nothing else I'm here at Hong Kong Airport
I'm now going to go through the entire immigration section and such to enter the country
And the first thing will be to be able to get such a tourist card to have the data these days
And then we go to the hotel so I'll show you the way
I put the card without a tourist visa I got it from this store here
The one with 1010 or IO I don't know what it's called
And it's really good I highly recommend it because there's a long line but it moves really quickly
The girl took my phone and started right there meaning everything was in Spanish
But it changed everything as everyone knew the order of the entire menu
And it changed everything for me it set everything in 30 seconds and everything was ready
I used to be one of those who changed the Formula 1 tires
And that's 10 euros I think for 5 gigabytes
There are fewer gigas and it's cheaper but I think it's very good
So nothing else I can take the train which is the train that comes this way
We're going to the center where I already have the hostel
I'm already waiting here for the train the truth is that everything is super fast
Well leaving the airport is like not even getting out
And here is the train right here you buy the ticket at a counter that is here
And for 15 euros you get a round trip from the airport to the center where I'm going
It is located in Hong Kong on Hong Kong Island
So nothing else this is where I have to wait for
the train I'll go in one of these when I get there
And we're getting closer there's just a little more to go before we can finally visit the city
I have arrived at the hostel where I will stay for these 4 days which I will be here in Hong Kong
Well the truth is it's nothing
That is it's spread out in a building through different doors
This is my room
What do you say well not too bad are you alone here
No
Well it's okay because I had booked a room shared by four people
And when I got here the receptionist gave me a free upgrade moved me up a category
And she has left this room except that I share it with someone
I don't know if it would better to share it with four people because after all I came here to meet people but well
And it also has a shower integrated
here And you will say where is the shower
Well look the shower is
here That is it's part of the bathroom
Here on the ground where he is working
So nothing it's not much
And there was also an insect around that tried to kill the girl but it couldn't so it hid under the bed
So I know there are bugs around here
It's quite cheap that's the thing it's very very cheap
The truth is it's great in price
And nothing else so I'm going to go visit the city finally because I've been traveling for a lot of hours already
And I still can't visit anything so let's get to it
We need to get ourselves situated where we are
We are in Hong Kong which is officially part of China
It is the only one that is a separate administrative region
That is it is a separate administrative region they govern themselves
This comes from the 19th century
In 1839 the First Opium War broke out and lasted until 1842 when the United Kingdom took control of this colony Hong Kong and acquired it for itself
This lasted until 1997 when after discussions between the two governments
The Chinese government and the British government as they reached an agreement to return that sovereignty to China
It should also be noted that during World War II it belonged to Japan for a few years
Then as I said in 1997 Hong Kong was returned to China although with the condition that it remain independent
It is not independent because it is part of China but it does administratively manage itself
Yes it has its own immigration laws its own passport and its own currency
In fact here the Chinese people who live here speak Cantonese not the Mandarin spoken in mainland China
So they have quite a few unique features That's what's good about them
For example if you want to visit this place you don't need a visa like you do for the rest of China
At least from Spain and most countries
If you see me sweating it's because of the terrible humidity but it's just a passing phase
They have passed there was a typhoon here the typhoon Ato I think that's what it was called which was one of the biggest ones in recent years
It destroyed this whole part of Hong Kong it also destroyed Macao which I will visit in a few days
And that's a city located in eastern China it's very very humid
And in fact it has surprised me because I see a lot of people carrying not fans anymore but portable electric fans
And so now I'm at my first destination well the first place I want to visit which is the Man Mo Temple
As you can see from the outside the temple is a bit disappointing because it is quite old
Above it are all the buildings behind which are like skyscrapers and they make it look very small
What makes this place special is that it is one of the oldest temples in Hong Kong
The truth is that from the outside the temple isn't very pretty but then again it's because it's so old
But what I don't like is above all that how it is surrounded by all the new buildings by all the skyscrapers which take quite a bit of charm away from the place
But the truth is I found it really interesting on the inside it seemed very different from other temples of that style I had seen especially in Japan and such
And the truth is that it's well worth going in even just to take a walk and see the people performing their rituals
