On the move again, heading towards Nara. Just checked out our Airbnb here in Osaka. Another hot day, as always. We just purchased this companion. Freeway fan. Alex has been using him or her pretty frequently. This is our traditional Japanese room with tatami mats. Look at that. And a sliding door. Veranda with a hand wash. Very nice. And the view is not that bad. So the majority of interesting things in Nara Park is located here. East of the huge pagoda tower you see there. Probably going to head out there later. And as you can see, we ordered two different okonomiyakis to try out. One is a bit more like pork and I don't know how to explain. They just look absolutely ridiculous. We just came out of the okonomiyaki place. Borderline food coma. Even though we got food coma, we're going to head to the convenience store, Lawson's Family Mart. Grab some snacks and head up to the room and relax. So we can wake up early in the morning for a lot of sightseeing. It's our only full day here in Nara, so let's give it a go. 35 degrees celsius, feels like 44. Be happy to find trees, bamboo trees, and plums. Find trees because they live several hundred years and evergreen. Love it. Love it. Very good. Of course. Of course. Of course. On our way to the next big temple. I believe this is the biggest one in Nara, Todai-ji Temple. This should be red bean paste. Let's give it a taste. Pretty good. Pretty good. Itadakimasu. I want to die.
