What's up P Nation? It's another beautiful day in Bangkok. I'm like not sweating as much. It
feels amazing outside. It's probably because the first day we just like sweated it out. So
today is just like a beautiful day. Plus we stayed in our hotel room most of the day and it's about
five o'clock right now and we've just left for the first time. So it's way later in the afternoon.
We've been relaxing all day. Yeah. So we're on our way to go to the top of this temple. What's
the temple called? The Golden Mount. Golden Dew. The Golden Mount. Yeah. Sorry that's not a dog.
Golden Mount. The Golden Mount. It's a temple. It's really close to our hotel and you can walk
actually all the way to the top. So it's free to get in but it's like 15 baht to walk to the top.
So that's what we're going to do today. See kind of the sunset. Sun's not completely setting right
now but it should be a really pretty view. What is this? Have you researched this? Nope.
The longest line of white people since we've been here. Must be five stars or google trips.
That's where we're going. So we are here at the Golden Mount Temple and as you can see
it is beautiful. Just put leaves on the tree. As a kid growing up from Disney this feels like
something straight out of the Jungle Book. Like going on what's that ride at Disneyland? I think
it's uh oh the Jungle Cruise. Like this is right out of that. I don't even care how much it costs
to get in here. Just take my money. This is amazing. These steps are so tiny. They're like
four inches. So the Golden Temple was very inspiring. I just love like views and they
just make me feel like connected to the city somehow. I don't know. It was the first time
we had really gotten a good look at the city and it was perfect because the sun was setting.
Like we got there and the sun was still kind of up and as soon as we got all the way to the top
the sun was setting. It was red and orange. Just like zen. Like I just want to do like yoga up
there so bad. You could have. I know but we just didn't have enough time. But it was well worth it.
Yeah so now we're changing pace completely and going to the Chinatown. Yeah so Bangkok has like
the largest Chinatowns and it's really well known for its street food at night because the
temperature gets much better so all the street vendors come out. So that's what we're gonna do.
We're gonna go over there. It's about a 20 minute walk south of where we're staying.
So we're gonna head to Chinatown, look at some good food, hopefully find some,
eat some, enjoy some. Ah we were just there.
So Zach is a great dancer. So much fun. We knew this. He's been practicing his whole life to be
part of a dance group. He played like Dance Dance Revolution. Wait what was it? Dance Dance uh Just
Dance 2, 3, and 4. He's been playing this his whole life. On the Kinect. He has been training for this
moment. He finally, he finally got to dance. He was really good. I was really impressed. He picked up
on the steps like really really quickly. So behind us is this really big swing and it's been right
beside our hotel this like whole time and we haven't had a chance to come see it yet so it's
our last night. It's very pretty. It has some significance but I don't know what it is. Speaking
of workout, I just found the jackpot. This is like a park but it's like an outdoor gym. We have weights,
we have motion swings, we have a full track that's padded. Like can this come to my hometown please?
Off-brand or pay a dollar more for the real thing? We're gonna go with off-brand.
Milk tea flavor. I'm so excited. Can we get it? Yeah.
Hangry. It's not the first time so I'm actually used to this. All person. It's really funny. It's okay.
They're still laughing every time they saw me so apparently it isn't as common as I think it is.
Everywhere Texas.
So we're at the Tom Yum with bacon noodles. It looks delicious and then we ordered like a
chocolatey drink with like sweet delicious cold milky so good. Very fishy and it's like feels
like they have scales in them. I don't know like a better term to use but it's just like like the
scale of fish. I just don't like fishy tasting stuff. Everything is so good.
There were so many people on the street. There were so many food vendors. There was
cars going through like crowds of people. Everywhere. There were durians everywhere.
We still don't know what that is. We're gonna try it one day. We just did that today. We'll
try it and like Chinese like the food was good but like I came here for Thai food you know. So
like maybe that's what it is in China but like we were definitely in Chinatown. I think the first
place we had it was like a rolled noodle soup. Yeah. And it had like Chinese like five spice
flavor. Yeah. Which I didn't think I was really expecting. Then we got more soup later. It was
so Thai. It was great. Yeah. Well and with the sausage like oh so good. Yeah we even got some
to take home. Legalized?
