Kyle Brandt goes crazy Diggs, Bills hand Rodgers, Packers 4th straight loss, 27-17
by for surprises. But in the meantime, Packers bills, the
teams enter through the same tunnels. Look at Rogers and
Allen before the game, just kind of walking out together.
It's unusual, but it's the crowd is what Peter talked about
McDermott last year is insane. After a crazy run to get down
to the one Josh Allen just says, I'll just kind of do
whatever I want. Dawson knocks touchdown. No big deal, but on
the by pick up to the same guy that beat the Chiefs a couple
weeks ago. Just your run of the mill Josh Allen highlight and
the bills are off and rolling seven nothing now. And there's
this one digs was on one yesterday, Jason McCourty. And
what happens after this play?
Oh my goodness. Diggs gets up and he wants all the smoke.
Yes. Those are good teammates right there. Gabe Davis,
McKenzie holding them back. Don't do it. Don't do it.
Meanwhile, just an incredible catch and a perfect throw 14
nothing. The Packers have anything. They sure do. Peter.
Romeo dot makes an incredible catch wearing that beautiful
number 87. Shout out to Jordan. That's an awesome catch. So
maybe guys Robert bro. Shout out to Robert. Maybe the change to
21 to seven. That's not good. And I was just Alan. Give me
that digs. That's a big old game. 50 plus yards. Digs
appeared to bite his tongue. And Chris Collins worked at an
amusing impression of Stefan Diggs biting his tongue in the
booth. It was really good. Fourth quarter though. The
Packers started just running the ball a lot, which is great, but
they were down by a lot. So it's a little weird. And then Matt
Milano said, exit stage, right? We got peanut butter cups to
eat. Get out of here. Matt versus darn. And they have a
fight back. And there's those two guys from Cali to excellent
quarterbacks. And one of them has an excellent team that is
six and one. The Buffalo Bills went 27 to 17. But if you watch
this show, you know, it's Halloween and you know, nobody
does it better. So we're going to talk pills pack is we're
going to lay out right now for the master of scaremonies in
Los Angeles. Mr. Will Silva, take it away. Will. Welcome to
good morning football presented by old trapper beef jerky.
We're live in New York city. It's Halloween and we're
getting right to it. Josh Allen. It's the bills. They got off to
a big first athlete last night. They never look back. Take a
listen to what Josh Allen and Aaron Rogers had to say after
Sunday night football. I have a crappy taste in my mouth right
now. And I know we won. I'm happy that we won our defense
played really well. Special teams played really well. Uh,
I thought we ran the ball really. There's a lot of
positives. It's never as, never as bad, never as great as you
think it is. Um, but a lot to learn from lots of, uh, to, to
get better at. And again, that's, that's what we practice
for us. We played this game for, and, uh, we'll learn from
it and grow from it. That's kind of what's been going on with
us. You know, throw a chest down to Bobby, get a penalty,
come back, have a big kickoff return, have a penalty. Um, I
think we're getting our, all our guys back for a week and
then somebody is out. Um, so nobody feels sorry for us. We
got to find a way to get one way. And I feel like we can
just get one and the whole momentum changes.
Well, if we wanted to be one happy quarterback, one sad
quarterback, we could have been those guys, but we're here at
the table. How we long Joe Namath little eight, great
Dennis green and one Leslie Visser, who I'm fairly
convinced covered all three of you gentlemen and her
intrepid career. So happy Halloween. It's great to see
you, Leslie. Thank you. Happy Halloween. You look incredible
to you. If we wouldn't mind picking this up a little quick
today, I got a snarky, flirty, a radio shack commercial to
film with Terry Hatcher. Joe, what do you got going on today?
You know, I'll tell you this right now. We, we already won
one super bowl. I see it happening plenty of times after
my time with the New York jets. It's no problem. New York city
is a beautiful place. Who's coming with me afterwards. I'll
tell you what, it feels good to be Joe Namath one day. Mr.
Dennis green. I won't be rolling with you. Nope. We got
to get in the film room. We got hours and hours of film to
dissect so we can get out there and win some football games.
Oh, they bring me in here to center all you crazy gentlemen
to talk football. Let's talk bills, Packers and what we took
away from that win last night up in Buffalo. For me, you look
at it. I'm like, I got, now I got to go into it. It was the
past defense of the Buffalo bills. Yes. Josh Allen is
incredible. Stefan Diggs is incredible. They do some amazing
things, but Aaron Rogers up until the end of the third
quarter, 74 yards passing. That's something we're not used
to seeing used to going into the game, seeing them throwing
rockets, guys making catches all over the place. And that did
not happen. Leslie Frazier and his Buffalo bills defense has
been unreal this season. Not only have they been the number
one office, but also the number one defense. Milano has an
interception. Rousseau hit Aaron Rogers twice, had a sack
Tim settle, had a sack. Aaron Rogers looked uncomfortable
through the game and the fourth quarter late. He made some
throws. Romeo Dobbs had a touchdown pass. Another one
after that. But when you watch this Buffalo bills defense,
they have all the makings to continue to win and go all the
way to the Superbowl and shutting down a guy like Aaron
Rogers last night in primetime where they've been so incredibly
successful was just impressive to watch. Jason, you were at
the Jets Patriots game yesterday, right around 8 a.m.
That Jets parking lot was going right there. I was getting
texting people at the bills parking lot at 8 a.m. They had
a game that kicked off at 8 30 p.m. So you had this big build
up. You saw the montage on NBC of the guys having about one
guy's drinking out of a bowling ball. I don't know if you saw
that one. That was something that's I guess that's what you
do in Buffalo. They come out and then Josh Allen on 3rd and
14 makes the play that sets the tone for everything. 0 0. It's
their second drive. And it's like, all right, if the Packers
can stop them on their first two offensive drives, you can
numb this place a little bit. And then Allen does this. And
you're just like, how do we beat this person? Oh, how do we beat
this person? The very next play or two plays later play action,
a little perfect touch pass here. This was what it feels
like. And I honestly am saying this as we're entering Monday
night of week eight. I don't see them losing a game in that
building all season. The atmosphere is too electric. That
quarterback is too unstoppable. He was even made a little loosey
goosey in the second half, threw a couple of picks, didn't look
like they were necessarily treating this like it was this
colossal matchup. And they still win by 10 points. That was a B
game from the Bills offense. And they blew out Aaron Rodgers and
the Packers. Don't let that score deceive you. It was a much
greater margin. They had it going on since 8 a.m. And they
delivered the entire way. And the thought started again. I
don't know who's beating him in that building. Quick update. I
did the signature Howie long hand wrap that goes over the
thumb. You doing my circulation is cutting off fast. We don't
have an athletic trainer here. Good morning football. But it's
very much like the Bills offense cuts off the circulation of the
other team. It's just so suffocating. My hands are about
to go red. The other thing I would say is a interesting
decision for Rodgers, you know, to say this might be, but it
might be the best thing for us going up there. I, my barber
almost refused yesterday to do this haircut. My guy, Joe, he's
like, I really don't think you should. It's just not. He
almost laid his shears down. And I was like, Joe, give me the
Howie. He gave me the Howie. Interesting decision, of course,
for the Packers to put that out there going up to Buffalo. What
struck me about Buffalo last night is that we're now kind of
halfway through the season. Right. And one of the little
nitpicks everybody had for Buffalo, probably the show
included was, I don't know, they play that first place schedule.
You know, like that's always one of those like token things.
Listen, they went into the Rams and week one in one, they won
an arrowhead. They beat Lamar. They've beaten Rodgers. They're
just lining up MVPs and Super Bowl champs. And a quick note,
little thing that maybe doesn't jump off the box score. James
Cook, their rookie running back, guys, this is probably their
ninth weapon. It might be their 10th weapon. And it's the screw
it. Why not get the rookie involved weapon. The team is not
just talented. The team is really deep. It's not in the
game. Davis wasn't putting on a superstar show that last night.
He'll do it next week. They take their turns. And then they're
like, Oh, yeah. Don't they have Dalvin's brother on the
backfield who can just blow past half the defense. They have
played the toughest schedule. They've beaten the toughest
opponents and they have the deepest team Buffalo circulation
cutting off. Not for them, though, guys. Leslie, what do
you think? I love that for James Cook, because if you remember,
he fumbled on the first year he had his rookie season. So the
fact that it's eight weeks later and he's having that kind of
impact in the second half of the field is fantastic for the
Bills. I love the Dalvin Cook little brother thing, because of
course, Dalvin Cook and Stefan Diggs are great friends and
Stefan Diggs. Oh, good. And Stefan Diggs. He's the best.
108 yards. This is kind of unfair because like there are
very few like Stefan Diggs who can chirp on his way out of the
tunnel, catch a touchdown and be talked down to the point
where like, don't taunt. Don't do this. You're too good to us.
And then at the end of the game, say even if I don't know who
started talking, but I know who made the last statement. I know
who finished and it was Stefan Diggs. He's so good. I really
don't see Josh Allen ever looking flustered. I don't see
him like not having an option, but heaven forbid we got to that
point with Stefan Diggs. Like he's the guy that Josh Allen
goes to. He's so good. Just to Stefan. I still don't know if
there's a better receiver. Does anybody have any guesses before
we go to what Ian's going to be wearing for Halloween? I think
he's going to be dressed as Logan Paul, but I don't know.
And that's just wow. So is Ian like a good like a current day
Halloween guy? Yeah, absolutely. And he's pulled from the
headlines. Oh, man. Let's find out. Maybe Jake Paul. All right.
Let's get our latest from our Marijuana Network insider Ian
Rappaport. Oh, my gosh. Trade deadline. I don't care. What are
you dressed as? Ian, the trade deadline is fast. I must say
four. Maybe. Hold on a second. Hold on. Maybe my email. Maybe
the email about dressing up got lost in emails. You know how
that happens sometimes where it like will show up like four
days later because it kind of got hung up. Yeah, I guess the
plan for what I was going to wear kind of didn't get
delivered. So I assume that was someone else's fault, not mine.
Maybe next hour we can make it happen. But what was the plan?
Nobody told me. No, that's what you guys were going to tell me.
Please. Oh, OK. I see. We'll come up with something and
we'll get it to you by the end of the show. Ian, what's going
on? Trade deadline. 4 p.m. Eastern tomorrow. What do we
need to know? Let's start talking about the Denver
Broncos. Of course, they had a big, big win, a much needed win
in London. But teams have been calling about some of their key
players, most notably Bradley Chubb, their star pass rusher
and really one of the jewels of the potential trade market
here. Of course, the deadline is Tuesday tomorrow at 4 p.m.
It is possible. I would say they trade him, but I would not
consider this likely at this point. The Broncos right now
are inclined to keep Bradley Chubb in part just because of
how much value he has to their team. If they trade him, then
they would then have to replace him regardless of whether or
not they could get a first round pick. Although clearly
the price should be high and Chubb would likely need a new
contract from the team that trades from a couple other
players that are getting interest as far as Broncos guys,
Jerry Judy, their receiver, KJ Hammer, another receiver. Both
those guys received calls. I would say both are unlikely to
be traded at this point. Similar situation with Chase
Claypool from the Pittsburgh Steelers. He's young, he's
cheap, and he is explosive. Plus, he's talked to the media
about, I don't know, maybe wishing things were a little
bit different in Pittsburgh. I know some teams have been
interested. The Green Bay Packers were one would be a
surprise at this point if the Steelers were able to get the
value necessary to trade someone like Chase Claypool.
Ian, Jerry Judy looked really good in London with Russell
Wilson yesterday. I think that's a good guy to base your
future offense off of. Ian Rappaport, thank you very much.
Howie Long is next to me taking selfies. I do. Which is
very un-Howie Long of him in the era in which Howie Long is
meant to be played, but we're getting there.
