Hi guys, welcome back to my channel.
Today I have a pretty little thing haul for you.
I'm pretty much gonna jump straight in
with the try-on clips.
I will briefly show you the first dress
and then skip to a try-on clip
where I discuss more about how it fits,
how it feels, whether I think it's worth the money, et cetera.
So if you are new here, then hello, welcome.

if you like shopping hauls
because I'm a bit of a shopaholic, I'm not gonna lie.
I do lots of shopping videos, fashion videos,
beauty, lots of vlogging, I weekly vlog as well.
So if you like that kind of thing,
then stick around and give this video a thumbs up
if you want more like this.
And let's jump straight into the first dress.
So if you haven't gathered by the title of this video,
I have selected about 10 different dresses
from the five pound dress range.
That pretty little thing brought out.
Now these aren't sale dresses
that were reduced to five pounds.
These were five pound full price.
Some of them, I believe,
have even gone into the sale now
and are about two pound, 53 pounds.
So definitely check out the links below
if you wanna go over and see
if you like any of these dresses that I show you
because you can get some real bargains
and who is a bigger bargain hunter than me?
Probably no one.
So yeah, without further ado,
the first dress is in my favorite color, nude.
If you saw my spring, summer fashion trend ideas video,
then you'll know that nude, whites, beige,
they're just my kind of color
and it's just like my ultimate go-to for spring, summer.
So this first dress really caught my eye
because it is off the shoulder.
It's designed to be off the shoulder.
So you can't pull it off one and then pull it off the other.
It's designed to be off, I think it's this shoulder.
As you can see, this is what it looks like.
I've got it in a size 10.
I'm gonna skip right over to the tram clip.
Okay, I love the style of this one.
It is off the shoulder.
When I first put it on,
I just forgot that it was off the shoulder
and I was like, oh, this fits really bizarrely.
And then I remembered, it kind of slopes off one shoulder.
I like this one as a dress.
It's still five pound thin quality,
but because it's not sheer and I'm testing it with nude,
black would be even better.
White would probably be a disaster.
It's just for me now,
I don't know if it's because I'm getting older, fatter, what
but I just feel like I need thickness in fabric
in order to make me feel sucked in
so I don't have to constantly worry about breathing in.
If that makes any sense,
please say you relate to me, some of you.
But yeah, back in the day,
this would have been a fab going out piece
layered with some gold jewelry as I've done
and a nice white bag,
or like I was saying, that straw bag that I'm after
on a beach or summer's day.
This one could be nice.
It's five pounds and it's worth it for five pounds.
Okay, this next dress is unfortunately going back
for reasons you'll see why in the try-on clip.
Okay, this is probably a bit TMI
showing you some of the see-through dresses,
but this is unfortunately one of them.
It is a rose high neck cap sleeve bodycon dress
in a size 10.
This is pink.
I don't do pink.
I do nudes, beige, monochrome, whites, grays, blacks.
So when I saw this online,
I definitely thought it was gonna be more nude.
They did have a black version.
They flax your thing.
This is in a size 10 for reference when trying it on.
This unfortunately is going in the return pile.
Okay, this one had the potential
to be a really nice, smart dress.
But for me personally, I have quite a few howevers.
One of them being when I opened the package,
I noticed hole and I actually noticed the threading first.
And then I realized there's a big hole there,
which is straight away an instant reminder
that the dress is only five pounds.
The frill detailing on the side,
if it had a bit more structure would be maybe okay,
but it is literally just a piece of fabric.
So again, personally, it's not really the style that I like.
Should have got it in black.
It's sheer as well, which is another thing.
I feel self-conscious of the fact
that you can see pretty much my belly button
and all my underwear and everything.
And another thing is it's very short.
For me personally, this is too short.
If you like this style,
then black maybe would be better suited
because of the sheerness.
So black maybe could have worked,
but I just, this threading hole,
thin piece material, short length, see-through.
This one is just probably the biggest fail for me,
unfortunately.
Sorry, pretty little thing.
I do absolutely love your dresses,
but this one is a reminder that it was only five pounds.
And I think you can get,
and even like in Primark and things,
you know I love my Primark.
I do my Primark hauls every month or more.
But yeah, I've found dresses for cheaper
that are better than this.
So this one is definitely gonna be a return for me.
The next dress had such great potential.
I feel like the rib, it's ribbed,
which first of all is like a big yes for me.
I've got leggings in this material.
I've got crop tops in this material.
It's the exact same thickness and fabric,
and I know I like it, but it's too tight for me.
I got it in a size eight,
which tells me that there was no 10 available.
Maybe I just was brave and thinking I was size eight.
I don't know.
It is like a vest, top style, plain, ultimate, basic.
Midi, mid, mid-axi, it's probably like to just below,
like kind of quite below the knee actually.
So yeah, mid-axi, it's not what we call it.
This I could have absolutely loved.
I couldn't get it on.
Size eight was just far too small for me.
I even feel like a size 10 would be quite tight
because this felt, it just doesn't give much.
And because you have to gather up quite a lot
to be able to get it over your head.
It wasn't my bum or anything that was the issue.
It was my head.
Maybe I've got a big head.
So yeah, struggling to get this over my head
was a bit of an issue.
So unfortunately I couldn't show you
what this one looked like on,
but I would definitely recommend this
and recommend sizing up
because this is a winner for me.
I just wish I could have tried it on for you,
but nevermind.
I will link it below anyway
and I will definitely be repurchasing myself
in my size if they have it.
This next one is like completely polar opposite
to a lot of these dresses.
It's very like floaty.
There's a lot of fabric,
which I feel like for five pound dresses,
they were quite stingy on the fabric amount
for some of these dresses,
i.e. they were very short.
This one is like just got a little slit.
It's very long, it's loose.
There's lots of fabric here.
It's a nice soft cotton.
Needs a good iron,
but it probably will still be going back for me
because it's a bit too sheer.
It's fine as a beach dress
and that's kind of what I say on the trend clips.
You'll see what it looks like.
Okay, this one I feel the only way
I would personally wear it is as a beach dress
over maybe a swimming costume or bikini
because white in summer is just my thing.
I absolutely love it.
And the fit of it and everything is okay.
Obviously, it needs a good iron,
but it's very thin.
And I feel like with these dresses,
if you're gonna go for white,
bear in mind that they are potentially
gonna be very sheer.
And if so, then could they work as a beach dress?
And personally, the tighter ones,
I don't think work as beach dresses,
but this kind of loose fit like midi style.
In fact, I'll pin it down
so you can see the length of it.
So it goes to below my knees.
There is a little slit there as well.
So this kind of like loose fit style,
low back as well could work as a beach dress.
Obviously, I've got underwear on,
but if I had just like a bikini on as well,
I'd feel comfortable out and about in this.
As always with a tan would be a lot nicer,
but pale old me right now.
I didn't wanna wear loads of fake tan
and then get it all over the dresses.
So just imagine it with a tan.
There you go.
This one was a winner for me.
This was my favorite.
This black kind of square neck, which I'm loving.
Square neck and it is all the way down
to like a tube dress down to like just below your knee,
which is for me, again, like I said earlier,
it's like the perfect length.
I really, really like it.
I think it's flattering on me personally.
That style, it kind of silhouettes your figure
and it is double layered
or at least the front panel is like double layered.
I've only just noticed that actually.
Trying it on, I didn't notice,
but it's only the front part that's double layered.
The back isn't.
But when I tried this on, I was really impressed with this.
This is the one I liked the most.
Definitely one that I would repurchase in other colors.
Okay, this like bodycon style black dress
is probably my favorite because of the thickness of it.
This one makes me feel really sucked in.
So for five pounds,
I actually think this one is very good value for money.
And I don't wanna say the only thing is,
however, I feel like with all of these dresses,
there's gonna be a however.
The only thing is,
is that it's very tight around the knee area.
So it's one of those dresses
that you're gonna have to like walk in the room like,
oh, I'm here, but like, wait for me.
Like it's very tight around the knees.
In fact, let me just pan it down
so you can see the full dress.
So it does go to below the knee,
which again, this now is the kind of length that I love.
I think it's more flattering on me personally nowadays.
Back in the day,
I would never would have gone out wearing a dress like this.
But yeah, now I actually really like this style.
I like the fit of it, the material of it.
So yeah, this one is a big thumbs up from me.
This black top, which I absolutely love.
I feel like I should just point out,
I have hauled it before.
It's from Missguided.
It is a thong bodysuit around about the 20 pound mark.
So it is like high end,
but you can tell with the quality when you get it.
Apart from the fact that the poppers go,
and I did notice that on the reviews,
but what I've done, if you have that same problem,
is I've just cropped it.
So I've literally just cut it off, made it into a crop.
So just crop it if you have that same issue.
I just thought I'd point that out.
I'll leave it linked below if you are interested.
This one, I feel like you're gonna see it all
in the trial and clip, literally.
Because it's very short, quite thin.
It's maybe okay as like a summery beach dress if,
I don't know.
I'm just gonna let the trial and clip
do the talking with this one.
I did get it in a size 10 for reference.
I mean, with this lack of tan right now,
if I walked out straight away like this,
I'm sure people would double take,
thinking I'm probably naked.
I think this is kind of a common theme
with a lot of these dresses for me.
Personally, nowadays, I never wear anything this short.
But when I was at uni, especially first, second year,
I would have worn dresses this short.
I had the guts to, but not anymore.
I mean, I'll let you guys judge for yourself.
Me personally, nowadays, no.
Back in the day, maybe.
Also, this color as well, their nude is quite like,
washes me out kind of at the minute with no tan.
It'd have been a lot easier to show you these dresses
when I was all bronzed up and highlighted everywhere.
But it's still pretty much winter months here in the UK,
so this is what my skin color is like.
This is, again, another nude one.
I have to say, the nudes in this
are quite orangey-yellow toned, which aren't my favorite.
I prefer this next one, more of the brown nudes.
This one's quite yellowy.
This one is gonna be going back anyway,
for reasons you will see in the trial and clip.
Hashtag the split.
It does have little cuff sleeves, which I like.
I like the top half of it, the bottom half for me personally.
A lot of these criticisms are, again, for me personally.
It's the kind of styles that I now would be like,
just basically not brave enough to wear.
Okay, this one makes me feel very uncomfortable.
I honestly would never go out with a slit this high.
I know some dresses nowadays, like the Sarah Ashcroft ones,
the slits are not only there, but they're like here,
so you can see all of the hat.
I just, no, this is a no for me.
I would feel very uncomfortable.
I feel like if this design was like this,
but with a lace-up all the way down to the bottom,
then that would be a bit different,
because I have got underwear on,
and it does kind of fit with underwear on still.
The top part I do actually really like.
I like this kind of little sleeve detailing.
I like the fact that it's straight across.
That whole, what is this, décollage out on show,
I actually really like.
I think it's a really flattering style,
and especially in summer, when you're like really hot,
and you just want like no clothing items here.
I, yeah, I love this style for that.
But yeah, this slit for me is just a big no.
Okay, this one as well is probably one of the ones
that is like, I was quite impressed with.
The actual fabric itself feels quite weighty.
The color of this nude is much to my preference.
It's more of that brownie-like nude.
It is a skater dress.
I got it in a size 10.
It fits really well, and yeah,
you'll see what it looks like when I try it on.
But yeah, that one's okay.
I like that one.
That one is definitely worth the five pounds.
Okay, so this dress is like a nude skater dress, obviously.
I don't mind this one.
I quite like this one.
The fit of it is okay.
I would say the straps are a little bit too long
for me personally, just the tiniest amount.
I mean, I can still get away with it.
They don't fall down or anything.
But obviously with cheaper dresses,
the likelihood of getting adjustable straps is reduced.
I also think just, I mean, I've got this white belt,
but equally like a waist belt.
And I would love, like I'm on the hunt
for one of those like straw bags.
And I think that with this and like some shades
and maybe a little straw fedora in summer
would look really cute.
So yeah, I like this one.
This one is, to be honest with you,
I've tried the slinky leggings before
and been so shocked at how see-through and bad they were.
So to get the dress, I was being brave
and kind of risking it.
But the top has double layers, so that bit's not too bad.
And it is black, so black tends to be less sheer.
I love like the straps on this
and the neckline and everything.
But again, for me, the length is just a no-go.
It's too short for me.
And for reference, by the way,
I'm about five foot five and a half.
That half is very important.
It's like quite short, which is, for me,
I'm a bit like, ooh, I prefer longer now.
The material, it's not as sheer
as what I thought it was gonna be.
So with that, I'm like happy with it.
But it is quite thin in terms of like lumps and bumps.
I don't feel very sucked in and very like held in well.
Here and upwards, it's double layered.
So if you did wanna go braless,
then you wouldn't have a problem with this.
Okay, lastly, I've got a white number
and this one had the potential.
Like it still has the potential.
You'll see what I mean when I do try it on
and talk about it a bit more.
The like style of this is so cute.
It is Bardot, it's off the shoulder.
It's got a little knot detailing here
that goes above your boobs, like across your neckline here.
I also really love that knot detail,
which I talked about loads in my spring summer trends video.
Okay, this one, the design idea is there.
I love the like style of it, but with it being white,
I mean, I did test it.
They did come in other colors, which I'm sure would be fine.
But I thought I would test it with the white
and you can see my underwear.
So I tried to wear as nude underwear as possible
and you can still kind of see it.
So what I would be more inclined to wear this as
is like I might crop it as like a little crop top
or just kind of like, I mean, it's really short anyway.
Just tuck it into some like high-waisted jeans
and just wear it as a little like Bardot style top.
So I think this little knot design here is really cute.
So I would see this as a five pound top
as opposed to a dress in the white.
The nude and the black might be different.
But yeah, I just love the little design of this.
So that is everything that I picked up
from the five pound Pretty Little Thing dress range.
Let me know which was your favorite piece that I tried on.
As always, I will leave all the links
to my social media channels down below
and please hit that subscribe button
if you haven't already.
It would mean so, so, so much to me.
And if you want more of these kind of like
testing kind of review style video hauls instead,
then give it a big thumbs up
and I'll see you again next time.
Bye, guys.
This chair is gonna give off on me one day.
I can feel it already.
You have a squeaking that goes on when I'm filming.
It's ridiculous.
Okay.
Should have got it.
Okay, let's turn this one the right way around.
I should have been saying these prices.
I'll have to put it on the screen so you can see.
And they'll be linked below anyway.
Oh my God, I'm such an idiot.
Put the prices, it's five pounds.
That is my major blog moment.
I have quite a lot of them.
Again, similar kind of theme along.
Similar kind of theme along.
Again, it's this décollage out on show.
That, or décollé.
I don't speak French, I should know this.
I think it's so like bad.
I think it's so.
I actually think it fits my style,
summer, spring ideas, style, trend ideas video.
And as always, don't.
And as always, and please hit that sub, blah, blah, blah.
I might photograph a couple of these and put them on there.
And no, forget all that.
