NEW RARE HERMES BAG (OMG) JAMIE CHUA

Hey guys! It is so good to see you back on my channel. After two weeks of travel vlog, I'm sure we are dying for an unboxing video. So today I'm going to show you something very special that I acquired recently. I was so overwhelmed. It is something that is missing from my collection and I'm just beyond elated to finally get it and I can't wait to share it with you. So even though I have so many Hermes handbags but it's always still so exciting and the suspense is like, you know, before you are shown a new handbag, you still get those butterflies in your stomach like, what are you going to get? There's always something that is missing from a collection if you are a true connoisseur of the handbags. For me, I like to have a selection of colors and of course even with that many handbags, there is always something new that I'm looking for, something new that I have my eye on and I think it would be a great addition to the family. So without further suspense, let's get to the unboxing. Just to let you guys know that when I first saw her, I actually squealed, like squealed. It's been a while since anything got me so excited. Are you ready? Let's go! This is the rain protection which I always put one of them in the handbag and I'll show you where I put them later. These are the cards that comes with the handbag for precious leather, it says. So Hin Hin is a precious skin and another card to teach you how to protect the leather. So let's put these aside and get straight to the point. I am ready because I so want to take her out. I'm so ready. I've never been more ready. Alright, so you see it's a double handle which means it's a Birkin and a baby one. It's a Birkin 25 that is in this amazing yellow and the name is Jeanne Ombre. Presenting my new baby. Welcome to the family. You are going to be so loved and so happy here. So I had a couple of yellow bags in my collection but none of them are in crocodile and I've always always wanted a yellow crocodile bag. Sadly, I was never fitted till now and the yellows that I have had so far in my collection are not as neutral as this yellow. I really think this yellow is so neutral. It is the golden yellow of the autumn leaves and fall is coming. There can't be a more perfect time to rock this baby. And with the gold hardware, it makes this whole bag even warmer and more autumn. So the first thing that I always do is to remove all the plastic on the hardware. I just do not like having plastic on the hardware. It is a hindrance to my enjoyment of my handbags because it will be quite tacky to see plastic coming off halfway when your friends are admiring your new bag and they see this tackiness here. I hate that. I absolutely hate that. So peel them all off right now in front of you guys. I actually had my nails done to match this handbag since most of what you guys will be seeing are my nails when I'm unboxing it. So there. Oh man, this is taking forever. One eternity later. And always always remember to take out the plastic here. You know why? Because when you put it on a smooth surface, it makes that ee-ee sound which, oh my god, gives me the creeps. Oh my god, I'm going to sing myself a song. Why are you not coming out? Sweat, sweat. Yes! One down. These stickers are really, really sticky. Oh, my nails, my nails. Seriously? Seriously? Got you. Let's open her up. Oh, I'm sorry I have to be so rough. You're really new and you're kind of tight. You're a baby. New baby. Okay, so I like to keep the airbags inside to hold the shape of the bag. So when I store my bag or even when I travel with them, I like to keep these stuffings inside or a pillow just so that it stays in shape. Even if something might be crushing them, they still stay in shape. Now, this is the clochette and a lock. I'm going to show you guys how I usually do it. Again, as you can see from my last video on Miss Rose Sakura and now on Miss Joan. Unlock it first and I usually put it on the left side. Just my personal preference. Usually, the crocodile skin is quite stiff when you first get them and they tend to soften after a while. I like to lock it in this manner. Just through this part and sometimes for the croc 25s, I actually like to hang the lock right here in the middle. Looks cuter that way. Instead of putting the lock right here, I like to just hang it here. And here she is in all her golden glory. Perfect. She looks shiny. I love my crocs in lisse which means shiny because I feel that it looks so much more elegant and for the bigger bags, I actually like them in matte crocodile because it just has a more casual, a more laid-back feel. And of course, nothing beats the smell of a new handbag. Heaven. And the breed of the crocodile for this handbag, it's the Niloticus crocodile as indicated by the two dots that is next to the heart stem. There are three types of crocodile that MS uses. So one is the Niloticus which is indicated by two dots and the Pelosus crocodile will be indicated by a triangle sign and if it's an alligator bag, there would be a square next to the heart stem. Just a little bit of insights on the breed of crocodile. And my new baby has a new outfit as well. Going to swing this cape over her. This pretty cape is from Pris Bob Crocs. I love it because it acts as a protection as well for the handbag. Just in case someone spills something at a restaurant, at least she's well protected. Good for drizzly days as well but no heavy rain, okay? There. And you can see that the lining is in a matching shade. Okay, what is the next thing that I'm going to do? If you guys can guess, of course, is to take one rain protection out and put it in the bag. This is a standard procedure that I always do because you have no idea how many times I've been caught in the rain while using my Hermes bags and thank goodness I always have a rain protector with me, especially when I'm in Europe. Always, always rains. So I like to put it in the zipper right here. Just one of it and then I'll zip it back up and done. We'll keep this and that together so that they don't get lost. One of my problems that I have is, you know, I have all these things that I keep in my handbag and when I go traveling, usually with four or five handbags and they always get jumbled up. So we have a big problem right here. I don't know if I should... We should label them. We'll put them in another one of these Ziploc bags next time and we label them, okay? We'll stop tonight. Now, let's see how she looks. And this is the outfit that I've chosen to match the Jean Ombre. A very fall outfit. This top is from many, many years ago. It's MS as well and I've worn this many, many times and I still love it. It is such a classic and something that doesn't go out of style. Look at the workmanship of all this embroidery. You can see that some threads have come off. I'm just going to trim it. I'll probably wear this forever. She's so cute. Yes? No? Thank goodness I have a small wrist and I could actually fit it into this small handle and use it like that. Sometimes I prefer the Cali bag because it leaves both my hands free. But I also like the Birkin bag for many other reasons that I could actually put more stuff inside and I could actually place a small camera on top of my stuff. And because I like to display my bags without putting them in their duster bags, I like to store them this way with everything inside. And then I'm going to find her a place to live in. So let's put her nice and proper like a lady. There she is and I'm going to take you to your new home. I've already created a spot for her. So all my B25s were actually placed straight and to make space for this new handbag, I actually had to slant everything so that I can put her in Yes, Lee. I need a bigger wardrobe. You may not think I do or you think that, you know, it's big enough. But let me tell you, the stress is real when I try to fit new things into my wardrobe. There she is. Oh, something doesn't look right here. Every Cali has her strap around like this and I don't like that. Yes, there you go. This is making me crazy. There you go. Okay, looking good everybody. How are you today? Who wants to go out with mommy? I can't take you out today. I'm sorry because the video is only going to be released in two weeks. Okay, so you be good and stay at home. So tonight I am going to take Miss Blancasse out. Quite a beauty, I must say. I've had her for a couple of years and well, of course, with the oxidation and stuff, she is a little bit darker now. Just like when we humans go under the sun, right? We get darker. So do bags and their natural skin after all. I can't believe that I actually like lizard bags so much because I am super, super afraid of reptiles and lizards. Yeah, once I had a monitor lizard and I was freaking out, okay? He was chasing me. I was running away. He thinks I'm chasing him. So that is a bad story. And I'm just going to show you a little bit more about the yellow bags that I have. I have this matte cropped bag. It is in the colour pile. It was as yellow as I could find in those days. Obviously, not yellow enough anymore with all these bright yellows that are coming up. Let's do a comparison. She's also a very neutral shade, just not that yellow. And of course, the new ombre, it's yellow to a point that is almost golden. Of course, this one could pass off as like a new colour bag. She is very, very neutral. It's a pretty new kind of colour. And then this one, she pops. I'm going to show you some of the yellows that I have in regular Apsom leather. This is another yellow. It is in the colour Jandor. I feel that it's a little bit more like a mango orange. I wouldn't call her a yellow, yellow bag. So now we play spot the yellows. I have one right there. It is in a Kelly fringe there. She's in suede. It's a Kelly fringe. And now let's spot more yellows. I have this Kelly bag in the colour Soufflé. I don't feel that this colour is very easy to use because she's obviously not neutral. She's kind of pastel, kind of not pastel. When they made this range of colours like with Celeste blue and all that, I really didn't like the Celeste colour. It almost didn't go with anything except maybe the SCGS school uniform. And I have a lime Kelly right here. This is a better colour for yellow. It actually is very, very pop. It's a fresh pop of yellow. And I have this, another Kelly. It is a vintage Kelly and it is in the colour Jaune as well. And this is the leather because in the old days, they don't make absinthe. So this is called the Cochevelle. It's a grainy leather. It's quite sturdy. It doesn't get scratched easily like I could run my... Oh, that's an irritating sound. So that's another of my yellow. And I think I have a yellow Constance. Oh, I have more yellow bags there. I have a Birkin 35 in Soleil, which is the sun. So this particular yellow with the canvas, it's also in Soleil and canvas in a size 35. And obviously I don't really use them. I don't know when, maybe when I go to the gym, which is never. I don't go to the gym. Let's look at the Constance in Soufflé with gold hardware. I really like yellows with gold hardware. Somehow I feel that it brings out the best in the colour. Let's spot another yellow bag right there. I'm not going to climb up. I'm too tired. Still jet lagged. Okay. I'm not going to climb up, but that is a Soleil as well. Why do I have so many Soleil? It's the Shoulder Birkin by JPG. And I think they stopped making them. I just had to have one in a yellow. So I'm a true yellow fan somehow. And I don't know why I never had the luck to get it in crop, but yay. You see, my patience has paid off. I actually got the most beautiful yellow compared to the rest that have been out in the previous years that I thought were beautiful. That's the thing, you know, you always think something is beautiful and then you see something better. So I got the best one.
