JAPAN 日本 \\ AMAZING KAMAKURA "LITTLE KYOTO" // VLOG #94 東京 鎌倉市

We head 90 minutes south of Tokyo (on the train of course) to view the natural majesty of Kamakura Japan which has been called "Little Kyoto", home to the second largest Buddha in all of Japan and countless shrines and temples. Heavy rain curtails our some of our itinerary but can't dampen our spirits about this amazing town that is another must visit location and an easy day trip from Tokyo. We share some of our budgeting tips for how to get a full stomach without going broke in Japan then walk you through how to use the buses in Japan. Back in Tokyo we hit up some more local dining favorites before hopping on our first Japanese Bullet Train heading for the real Kyoto. We're looking forward to comparing our Bullet Train experiences from country to country. This one, the Shinkansen, is just awesome! We give some tips and experience on how to save some cash while using the Shinkansen which does not allow rail pass travel. The ride to Kyoto is just gorgeous!
