All right guys day one bass masterly series on lake fork been a tough practice But i'm excited to get out there before i go any further Let y'all know this video is sponsored by top fishing deals my title sponsor If y'all have not heard of top fishing deals before now Welcome to the channel for one and for two basically what they do is they go everywhere on the internet They get all the sale items on all the brands you already use from all the all the the actual brands And they list it all in one place So you can go in there and see all the sale items that are pretty much related to the outdoor industry on one website So go check them out but Lake fork was a terrible practice for me one of my tough practices I think i've ever had the first day. I think I had three bites two of them felt like keepers the second day I think I had three or four bites and Two or three felt like keepers and then yesterday I had one bite all day, but it was a four pounder. So Very very tough event. This is going to be a very tough event So got to somehow figure out how to catch five fish get us a good check in this one Try to move up some in aoy if we can that'd be awesome, but don't like something too easy. I get out there and grind today There's a dang keeper Stop flopping bro. Skills are zero, sir. Just thinking man. If I was a fish, that's where I'd be. Did he chase it out or was he in it? Yes, sir good hey, give me something that one dude, uh, like what he passed the bar. Yes, sir Give me something that one dude. Boom. That's awesome. Um, you want to measure him? You can take in one over 24 I've got a five four. You want to see it five four five five four I'm gonna get a picture with it. Yes, sir. I already got it on video. Yeah, let's get a picture And i'll send that in. Yeah, you can send in the pictures just we're gonna have it a little bit Yeah, i'll send in that picture you don't want anything in the background just like kind of look there you go good job, sir Yes Boom I knew when I said the hook on that one and he was around that pole. Could you see him? Yeah, I did All right, guys, i'll give you a little bit of a midday update from a chesty We've got us five Like 11 and a half pounds right now We got to catch us a couple big and stay in contention for this thing Caught most of them off docks one on a chatterbait out of standing timber And now Just trying to get another bite or two been tough been tough last probably three hours hadn't had a bite or hadn't had a cull anyway, so Just need a couple bites Got the boat super close to that one He was out beside that he was beside the wood small one Thought the old chesty was gonna bring us a big fish vibe Not so far had to fish that dock again, though Can't believe I caught two shorts off that thing He was still in there hunting down that rookie of the year title from alabama kyle welcher Gave this event second place for rookie of the year five fish today for 12 pounds Three ounces and it looks like that rookie of the year race might be tightening up a little bit. Yeah I'm happy that we're gonna have to go back there tomorrow and catch him again You know, I was kind of worried only catching 12 pounds I thought maybe he'd catch a big bag and kind of put me out of it Man we got to go out there tomorrow and stress and grind again So it's cool to be out there on that lake though where you know any cast, you know And if I catch a giant one tomorrow, I'll almost lock it up So, I mean that that's what you're doing here on lake fork You're trying to catch one of those giant fish that it changes the momentum of everything and rookie of the year's one I really want to get you don't get it one time. You don't get one chance at it So hopefully we'll go out there tomorrow and put it together Love to see it happen for you. It's been great to have you on tour all year long
