Day In The Life Of Justin Spiegel A Class Of 2023 Catcher Committed To VMI

My name is Justin Spiegel. I'm a 2023 catcher. I go to Thomasdale High School and I'm currently uncommitted. It's the day in the life. I got into age around two or three to play baseball. As a kid I was always around a bunch of other sports. I played soccer, I swam and baseball just stuck out to me the most. I was good at it and I've stuck with it since. I mean all games there's pressure because you can be a good player and not be committed still. People still know your name but there's not as much pressure. I go out there, play my game and help turn out for the best. My greatest strength is my defensive path. I'm strong behind the play. I have a good IQ. I have a good arm. I can see the whole field. My weak point is definitely my hitting. It's being able to see the ball, make sure it drives outside the field. I still be able to work on that but my strong side is definitely catching. My top player I used to love watching was Buster Posey. Him as a catcher he was always a smaller player. I tell him he was good. He was scrappy. He played both sides very well. I like watching Ronald Acuna play a lot. He brings a lot of energy to the game. He's a strong hitter. He's just a great around player and finally Mike Trout. Just him, just how he is and how the way he plays the game is perfect. My favorite baseball memory has to be Cooperstown. I went through the team that we did not have very much expectation to do very well. We made it pretty far. We ended up 16th I think and it was just a great time with all the guys I had around me. Everyone had fun. It was just a great time overall. When I go up to hit I'm thinking a gap to gap barrel with no one on. With someone on I know I have to do a job. You get the bunt down and do the runner over or push the runner to another base. There's always some job to do when you're hitting. So I just go up there and make sure I do my job. Today we started off hitting the cages. Did a couple rounds with the tee. Some top toss rounds. Came out to the field. Had two two three on field BP sessions. Then I got into my catching. Did a couple throw downs to each bag. Worked on getting my thirds through and that's the day in the life. What's up guys? I'm Hype and I'm here to tell you about our new merch.
