Now we're going to the gardens that are in the lower part of the hotel,
which are local gardens called Gardens by the Bay,
which are one of the most famous there are, above all.
Apart from being beautiful, it's also because of the technology that is implemented
inside it to help in the recovery of energy and not to waste it.
This bridge that I'm going to cross now, which is here, is called the Elix Bridge,
also known as the bridge of the prism.
Basically because of that, because it has, as you can see, a licoidal shape
along the entire bridge and leads directly to the lower part of where the Marina Bay Hotel is.
This flower that is here, this building that has the shape of a flower,
is a museum of arts and sciences.
I'm already here in Gardens by the Bay, which are huge gardens
that are behind the Marina Bay Sands, and as you can see, super cool.
It's all super well taken care of, and they're so nice that you can walk around here
practically alone, even seeing a lot of people.
And one of the main stars is the one you see there at the end,
which is where we're going to go now.
That bird over there is trying to mate with the other one,
who's not even paying attention.
But it's not the first attempt.
With this poor bird here, he's tried it and it's passed him.
And now he's trying to get it with that one.
You can't see it very well.
Well, the Gardens by the Bay has a few particular sections.
It's not just a garden in itself, but, for example,
here it has these trees that I showed you before,
which are intelligent trees.
They store energy to be able to reuse it.
And as you can see above, if you see them up close, they're super pretty.
They're totally full of vegetation.
And this park cost more than a billion dollars here in Singapore.
Then it has a few domes.
I don't know if you can see that building back there.
Well, there are a few that each one represents different things.
For example, there's one that represents the Mediterranean climate.
So it's like a microclimate in itself.
So we'll see each one of those.
Well, I just got in here to what's called the Flower Dome,
which is like the Flower Dome.
And it's the one I told you about,
which tries to maintain a climate as if it were more Mediterranean.
In fact, it's super cool here, it's great.
And now we're going to see the different things there are.
For example, something super typical of the Mediterranean
is the Cinderella Pumpkin, as you can see here.
The truth is that this garden is super recommended.
It's super well taken care of.
There are plants from all continents.
It's a bit expensive to get in, but you can get a double ticket,
which is for this dome, and another one that's on a lower floor,
which is the one I'm going to now.
And that's it.
Then it's usually themed, depending on the season.
Now we're close to Halloween in Italy,
so there's a lot of pumpkins and stuff.
And then there's a man here,
made entirely from vegetables.
Now I've just entered the Cloud Forest,
and look how cool it is.
It's super cool in this dome.
It's from the waterfall down there,
well, it starts up here, because we're on top of everything.
And it goes up different levels,
there are different plant themes,
it's set up like in the Lost World,
Jurassic Park and things like that.
It's really cool, it has all these boats,
even plants with Lego.
And here, for example, where I am,
there are carnivorous plants.
They're very small, but look, there they are.
If you see them.
I can't touch them, obviously.
But there they are, open, waiting for some insect.
of the climate change that is taking place,
and the number of species that are being lost
because we don't know how to conserve our ecosystem.
For example, there's a gallery here
that talks about the five previous extinctions
that have taken place so far,
with all their eras.
You can stop here if you want.
And the species that have been lost
during all this time.
And here they ask if in the sixth extinction
we will be the next ones.
I'm leaving the entire Gardens by the Bay area.
There's one thing I'm missing,
which is the super tree,
which is a very cool part,
it has a walkway,
which is very beautiful to walk on it.
But I'm going to leave that for when it gets dark,
because I think it's going to be cooler,
because all this is illuminated,
it's with lights and such.
Since you have to pay for an entrance,
instead of paying twice,
I prefer to use it at night,
and I think it will be much better.
Well, after eating at the same place
I ate in Kuala Lumpur,
not in Kuala Lumpur, it was in Hong Kong.
But it's a restaurant that is very good,
it has a lot of variety,
so it's easy to repeat a restaurant
and keep choosing different things.
Today, for example,
I took some chicken dim sum,
they were very good,
and a rice with egg and pork,
it was very good.
I was disappointed, a little more expensive,
but similar.
And now I've come by subway,
which by the way is very modern,
everything is very clean,
the city is very clean.
And I've come to Chinatown.
Here in Chinatown I want to see a couple of spots,
but I thought it was super nice,
look at this, these buildings
that have the gardens here
placed vertically and hanging.
I think it's super cool.
And here is the entrance,
well, one of the entrances to Chinatown.
Actually, I'm already in Chinatown,
this is all Chinatown area.
And well, as usual,
Chinatown is full of restaurants, markets,
Chinese shops, but there is a temple,
so it has to be very cool, which is what I'm going to see.
Because, of course, it's not the same
to see Chinatown in New York,
than to see it in San Francisco.
They are places where the attention is drawn
because it's a great contrast,
from the American side, suddenly all China,
all Chinese people,
all Chinese shops,
so the contrast is important and draws attention.
In these countries,
it doesn't draw so much attention
to be here in Singapore,
because you go from semi-Chinese areas
to areas a little more Chinese.
It's curious, because inside
Chinatown itself,
different religions and cultures converge.
For example, here is
the Chinese Bank Corporation
and all Chinese shops.
And inside Chinatown, there is a Hindu temple too,
similar to the one we saw
this morning.
Well, here, in the middle of Chinatown.
Ok, I'm already in the temple I wanted to get to,
which is the Buddha's Tooth Relic Temple.
I don't know if that's the translation,
I'll put the name below.
And it's special, it's not an old temple,
it's a temple from 2008.
It's barely 9 years old.
It's a huge temple,
as you can see, it has 5 floors.
And the characteristic of this temple,
or the most curious,
apart from the fact that it has
several galleries inside
to see different treasures
of the Buddhist religion,
it is said that inside
the Buddha's left fang is preserved,
which was recovered
from a fire
where he supposedly died
in the north of India.
It is doubtful of the veracity of this,
but it is hidden
inside a box
of solid gold.
Here, in this gallery, there are more than 10,000 Buddhas
around,
as in some of the temples I visited in Hong Kong.
And they are spectacular.
They are in all shapes
and each one, as you can see,
with a different artillery in the hands.
And yes, I had to put
this shawl,
I don't know what it's called,
because you can't enter with your shoulders uncovered.
And yes, I got the pink one.
