The SUV DOORSTEP makes the job easier by giving you a boost. The Doorstep mounts to components already on your vehicle, and gives you another 2' of reach! Even better, the SUV Doorstep installs in just seconds, and folds away to a small convenient size.
SUV DOORSTEP HOW-TO:
1) Take the SUV doorstep out of its bag.
2) Unfold the arm on your SUV doorstep.
3) Hook the SUV doorstep through the door latch on the jamb of your vehicle.
4) Carefully step onto the SUV Doorstep with one foot.
5) Load the roof rack of your truck or SUV
6) Step down from the roof rack, unhook the SUV doorstep, fold and put away.
The SUV Doorstep fits conveniently in the side pocket of your vehicle door panel.
A little rubber bumper on the back of the SUV Doorstep keeps the tool from rubbing the metal jamb of your vehicle while you're loading your roof rack.
Door latches on most vehicles are rated for 2000 lbs. of force in multiple directions!
The SUV Doorstep is rated for 510 lbs of vertical weight.
The SUV Doorstep makes loading the front end of your roof rack much easier. (The back end of the roof rack can often be loaded by using the bumper or tailgate as a step.)
