Konnichiwa, this is Kokoro Sensei.
Today, I'm going to show you this.
What do you think this is?
This is a Tanabata Tanzaku.
When I was a kid, I used to write my wishes on this.
I used to hang it on a bamboo skewer.
Today, I'm going to make an adult Tanabata Tanzaku.
Let's do it together.
Here are the materials.
This is Hiraganshi Daiseikaiha Shiro.
This is Kamihimo Tokyo Ribbon Papier Snow White.
And prepare seasonal flowers and scissors.
Let's get started.
This time, I cut this Daiseikaiha Shiro into 30cm squares.
First, fold this into a triangle.
Fold this into a triangle.
Fold this into a triangle again.
Fold this into a triangle.
When you fold it into a triangle,
you can see that this side is all stuck together.
This side is divided into three pieces.
Fold the side that is stuck together like this.
Now that you've folded it this far, we're going to cut it with scissors.
First of all, I'm going to cut this long one, not this short one.
I'm going to cut about 5mm from the inside of this crease.
If you cut it all, it will be cut off, so leave about 1cm.
Next, turn it over and cut it from this side to the top at the same interval.
If you cut all of this, it will be cut off, so leave about 1cm.
Cut alternately like this.
I cut it like this.
If you stretch it, it looks like this.
This time, I cut it leaving about 5cm above.
The length of the cut depends on the width, but I cut it about 12 times.
I cut it.
Once you've cut it this far, it may be difficult to open it, but I'll try opening it.
If you open it all like this, it will look like this.
I'll stretch it about this much.
I'll open it like this.
It's okay to leave it as it is, but once you open it, it's right in the middle.
Make a little hole here.
Be careful not to make a hole with this.
Make a hole in the middle.
Then, pass the papier-mâché through the hole and tie it so that it does not come out.
If you don't want it to come out, you can tie it in any way you want.
You can hang it like this.
It's okay to decorate it as it is, but this time I'm going to put a flower on it to make it the main character.
First of all, I put a string around the flower.
Like this.
Then, I made a small knot on the upper side of the papier-mâché I just passed through.
You can decorate it at the entrance and enjoy it.
How was it?
There are many good meanings in this papier-mâché called Toami.
If you re-examine the customs from the old days and incorporate them, you will have a rich life.
Please try to make it like this for Tanabata.
Please get through the hot summer.
The materials introduced in this video are sold at Lady Lisa YouTube Store.
You can make it together while watching the video.
